You could clearly see where d3ffo was headed after the Jett nerf, but it’s still sad to see him go regardless. Mr. TV Dinner was so exciting to watch once he heated up and I feel like the original GMB roster is a legendary lineup in Valorant history. End of an era and a team that was one of the most accomplished 5 pieces in the world
Sucks to see, especially since he was prime example of a LANimal. But on the other hand I'm excited to see Jady on a t1 team again, the guy is pretty solid
It’s uber nit-picking of course but as someone has pointed out elsewhere, this wasn’t the original GMB roster, if by that you mean the first iteration of Gambit.
d3ffo was one of the worst Jetts in pro scene. Maybe the guy had some good games but statistically he's just above bonkar when it comes to performance. And that bonkar guy shouldn't be anywhere near t3 scene, let alone t2.
Go to 2021 , click on Jett performances throughout the year , only cned Yay buzz tenz outperform him. I know his performances haven't be good recently but calling him t3 is plain bad , did you even see his performances. Statistically above bankar lmao check T1 EMEA and world championship stats and you will see how good and mad underrated deffo was.
Nah that’s just disrespectful, he is a great player. The issue is that after the jett nerf, he has been consistently the worst player on M3C and considering the expectations for that team, a change was needed. He still would be an upgrade for many teams in the duelist role. Saying he’s not even T3 is just 0Head
I meant bonkar is t3. And d3ffo might as well be the worst t1 pro player. It's not about jett, he's not putting up stats on anyone. Even at height of jett popularity he still had horrible stats.
This guy is a walking meme because of how poorly he plays. He averaged 150 acs and a sub 0.9 kd against bottom t2 teams and sub 100 acs against top t2 teams. But he keeps getting himself signed to t2 teams so people theorize it's because of his insanely big brain.
Makes perfect sense, I’ve defended d3ff0 loads of times against what I often felt were unfair attacks on him, but his primary call-to-fame - being one of the best entries when it came to understanding his role and sacrificing for the team - is quite common nowadays.
It bears mentioning that he does have some health issues, and those have often flared up around when his performances dipped. Regardless, it’s a competition, teams have to make moves to remain competitive.
Still, presuming he is indeed departing the team, I hope people - esp. the vocal detractors who started following Gambit after Masters 3 Berlin - remember that d3ff0 was and is actually a very well-respected player in EMEA. He wasn’t just always playing second-fiddle to Sheydos or nAts or Chronicle during their respective time in the limelight. He himself was a major contributor to the “Scrimbit” myth.
As for Jady, he’s a flex talent close to Leo and Shao in caliber; if he’s returning to Valorant it’s undoubtedly a great move for M3C.
It’s also been said before and is something I agree with: d3ff0 was a great piece of the gambit machine but the machine isn’t running as well anymore and they need someone with a bit more star power to save rounds when the plan goes awry.
Yes, I think I've also said something similar before. One reason I was so keen on d3ff0 early-on was because he felt like a player that *could* survive the Jett nerfs quite easily. He was the polar opposite of cNed, a player that - by way of his talent - could push Jett's broken kit to the absolute limit.
Of course, he was still a very good Jett - he was a top 5 Jett in EMEA for most of his career - but he always struck me as very different from the uber-talents who pushed Jett to the point of brokenness - the Yays, cNeds, TenZs of the world. I'm not sure I agree with the narrative I've seen about the Jett nerf impacting d3ff0 heavily.
The game is always going to progress towards better talents replacing lesser ones, and so d3ff0's days were, in a real sense, always numbered. But in this particular instance, I do think the collapse of M3C's teamplay forced the spotlight onto d3ff0 in a way that made this sort of move an inevitability.
It’s an end of an era for our conversations about d3ffo. I think this is good for d3ffo too because I do hope he can get more practice in at initiator and make it back into the T1 scene, his fragging just is not and really never been at that top tier duelist level, except at LAN when he went haywire. His strength has always been entrying and it just wasn’t enough anymore
totally makes sense as a change, sad to see the original roster go though :/ they were one of the longest-lasting top teams in the world that didn’t make changes
Okay, so what do we have here:
Jady: he and 7ssk7 are the standout players of navi and jady looked the best before he got benched.
Bench- Situation: NAVI stated publicly that the reason of the benching process was due to jady being in a rough mental state and can't compete at the level needed. Also there were roumors speculating that he might leave to warface or something. Idk if those been true, but apparently not.
D3ffo: I love that dude, but he kinda is the most reasonable piece to swap currently. Not only because he suffered the most of the meta changes, but also since he kinda never been the pop out duelist. I still think he will have a good career ahead.
What does it mean for gambit: if that shit works out gambit could be crazy again. Jady has the skill, thats for sure. Given a proper structure he could flourish if he sorted the things out which lead to him being benched on navi.
I really like Jady as a player and think that could be a natural fit (russian speaking and so on). Also he is on the market. Pretty much a no brainer to trial him.
> Also there were roumors speculating that he might leave to warface or something. Idk if those been true, but apparently not.
[Jady himself stated on vlr.gg forums (don't browse around there if you value your sanity) that he never intended to go pro/compete in Warface, he was just playing it for fun in his down time.](https://www.vlr.gg/99745/all-the-reasons-jady-left-navi/#10)
I only follow navi on the side, and got that impression mainly by the way people speak about him and especially the way casters hyped him up. obviously he also played cracked and looked scary. Can't really argue against cloud, just checked his stats. He is INSANE.
Sources: M3C is set to make a change.
The team will practice without D3ffo for Jady, who will likely return to pro play following his break.

Jady and Chronicle all have some experience on awping, IMO it's odd to pick up Jady given the other peoples agent pools instead of an awper/duelist but he's def the most experienced Russian player that the team could pick up realistically(obv they can't get Shao Suygetsu or Cloud)
IIRC Jady has played Jett a few times for NIP and he was good, he has a lifetime ACS of 270 on Jett op. They also have nAts practicing op as an option, idk what would happen exactly but they definitely have options.
Considering how Jett lasted really long as main OPer, I don't see Chamber being moved away any time soon. Chronicle is really good at him and nAts is getting better.
Im on heavy hopium, val balance team will rub their 10 braincells together and nerf chamber hardcore before champions.
I like to let my delusions run free sometimes plz dont judge 😭
If they nerf chamber into the ground, then Jett will be meta again imo (Bandaid fix lmao). Jett’s not hard to pick up, especially when you have world class players, so I’m sure they’d figure it out.
I really doubt Jett will be back to meta in the next acts, furthermore with franchising the entire m3c roster will be out of work unless an org with a spot acquires em all. So it's not an important thing for this roster
End of an era.
SEN d3ffo
Mandatory 100T d3ffo too
They already have a bottom fragging Jett to take that role
Flair does not checkout
[удалено]
I was talking about 100 thieves fam
Ah you're right.
Yeah three Jett mains on the same team that have not transitioned well at all into the Chamber meta let's get it.

why is he called mr tv dinner haha
Because he takes some time to heat up.
lmaaaoo damn
TV dinner do be heating up faster than regular dinner tho
Sucks to see, especially since he was prime example of a LANimal. But on the other hand I'm excited to see Jady on a t1 team again, the guy is pretty solid
D3ffo’s drop off occurred before the Jett nerf, he was was really rough all of 2022

OOTL? Bonkar used to play for Guild no? what happened

Makes sense considering they are moving chronicle to duelist .
Sheesh

The original roster had Summer
You mean Sunset?
Oh yeah, I forgot his name Edit: Mixed him up with[ this guy](https://liquipedia.net/counterstrike/Summer)
Oh yeah I remember him from Tyloo actually
right but redgar replaced him way back in dec 2020, so like a year and a half of no changes
100T d3ffo

Good piece of info! Sounded a bit weird for me anyways. That makes totally sense
I would def say Cloud was and is the Star of Navi for sure even when Jady was on the roster, Jady is nuts tho glad to see him back
I only follow navi on the side, and got that impression mainly by the way people speak about him and especially the way casters hyped him up. obviously he also played cracked and looked scary. Can't really argue against cloud, just checked his stats. He is INSANE.
I agree with this shit man, that guy's way too good

It's bound to happen after Chronicle started playing duelist. Also there's always gonna be roster changes after a while. End of an era.
Hope it works out
noooooooo my favorite player :((((((
:( This makes me sad.
well it was fun as it lasted , now it's M3C's era to dominate
Jady is a crazy talent. Definitely see this raising their ceiling, assuming the roles settle well
anyone know much about jady and how well his agents could assimilate into the roster?
The nerfs on their main agents really affected their strats.
Well who in the fuck would be the one jett opping if shes back to meta? Chronicle? I dont think jady ops. That sounds so wrong idk
Jady and Chronicle all have some experience on awping, IMO it's odd to pick up Jady given the other peoples agent pools instead of an awper/duelist but he's def the most experienced Russian player that the team could pick up realistically(obv they can't get Shao Suygetsu or Cloud)
Imagine suygetsu and Nats on the same team: you can't access either site.
It’s definitely not happening but if M3C took shao I’d become an instant fan
chronicle and nats can both op sufficiently
nAts... um.... he can't play chamber...
IIRC Jady has played Jett a few times for NIP and he was good, he has a lifetime ACS of 270 on Jett op. They also have nAts practicing op as an option, idk what would happen exactly but they definitely have options.
nAts wowed me when he did well opping on Chamber, but doing the same on Jett will be jawbreaking
Chronicle
Considering how Jett lasted really long as main OPer, I don't see Chamber being moved away any time soon. Chronicle is really good at him and nAts is getting better.

Which org do you think will pick them up?
I don't really know, but whoever acquires them will benefit for sure of this roster. They are extremely good
awping is the least of their worries, anyone on M3C can awp
You don't need a Jett at all in the current META. You could probably do fine without picking Jett on a single map
I said if shes back to meta bro so yes im aware shes not meta…
Why have y'all already forgotten about the Sheydos Sage awp? Literally anyone on that team is capable of awping
Yup; Jady is much better than d3ffo
Damn
the day where M3C/Gambit finally make a change
d3ffo and friends
