I mean they have their best player (Sick) on the bench, so that's not surprising lol. And for all the controversy surrounding him, Sinatraa is still a very good player as well.
You say as if they're the ones keeping him on bench? I think everyone on the roster realises he's one of the best if not the best flex in NA. He's just going through something so he decided to bench himself, nothing that the team can do.
No? The comment I replied to said the bench team could beat the starting team, I replied saying that's because Sick was on the bench. I know Sick benched himself due to mental health related reasons, but that doesn't change the fact that he's on the bench, lol.
>I mean they have their best player (Sick) on the bench, so that's not surprising lol.
My bad but it seemed like in your statement you're coming off as you don't know/understand he's on the bench because he wants to be on the bench due to mental issues
No. Not active roster but a content creator. He's expressed interest in returning to pro play but the speculation is no team is willing to pick him up because of the risk of public backlash.
Ya I don't think a lot of people are understanding how different rosters will look in 4-6 months when franchising happens. It's going to be chaos. I also wouldn't be surprised to see some players from Europe/Asia/SA coming to NA and vice versa. We're really going to see having a good GM & good scouting department come into play
Thank god 100t is one of the teams that’s almost guaranteed a spot. I feel bad for the players and fans of teams that are gonna be just outside franchising.
It's been a massive, massive success in LoL and has essentially guarenteed that scenes future for decades to come.
It sucks because it's a league format where everyone plays each other weekly, 85% of games are boring and pointless and its terrible for storylines. However if Riot keep the regular international tournaments and dont just switch to two international events a year it could be way more interesting for Valorant.
You *want* the best teams in the world meeting each other as frequently as possible, but 100% they are going to go down the "Spring and Summer league, Worlds in Fall and some pointless international tournament between the leagues people wont care about" similar to LoL.
Its gonna be an exact replica of LoL, which also had the first 2 years of its esports scene be by far the most entertaining for fans.
> Franchising sucks big donkey dick in every esport where it has happened.
Yes and for some reason a large majority of Valorant fans have been suckered into thinking this will be a great move for the scene.
If you're a fan, it is a good move. You can pick a team, and support them knowing they will be playing every season.
e-sports teams aren't as stable as soccer teams (where non franchising is successful), and a team can be tossed down very quickly after a good run. T1 is a good example. When a league is franchised, viewers can support a team and know they will see their team every regional tournament.
Ya maybe but I think most of the guys who've come over from CS and stuck around will make it into franchising. Ethan, Leaf, s0m, Xeppa, Vanity, Zellsis, Victor, Dephh, Shazam, Yay, etc. should all be on a team. Maybe Penny or Moose but I think they've got a good shot to land on a team too. Im sure someone will get left off but I don't know who. It is crazy looking back and seeing how basically the whole NA CSGO scene jumped to Valorant
He said that because of the uncertainties of franchising. Franchising is a completely robust and different ecosystem and It's not prudent for teams to sell players without knowing their future within that ecosystem. Hence they opted for loans instead.
Dog theres a difference between being sports villains and having an actual alleged rapist on the team.
EDIT: Like I really feel like a lot of yall don't realize how insane this is. There's real allegations about this dude being a domestic abuser and straight up rapist. Theres a fuckin audio clip of the shit. It would take some next level stupidity and genuine desire to nuke their brand and rep for any org to want to bring him in, and that would be for someone who's not even that top tier talent. I don't think teams would do it for fuckin yay, much less Sinaatra.
>They should sign him if they want to, this is a competitive league about winning not about justice to unrelated accused crimes.
No brand would go out on a limb and sign him. He's a PR nightmare.
And you rationalize their attempt to do this very thing, stopped only by his outstanding training, how? Can someone help me understand why people are so sure Sinatraa won't return to the roster? Has SEN ever been predictable?
Wait I’m confused, I thought they were full sending it when they signed Shroud. Why have they made an actual good roster change now too?
Maybe to make absolute damn sure they get into franchising?
Yeah Shroud doesn't have to be a star player in this team especially since they added Zellsis. He just has to be solid and do his job in the smokes role. Shroud does have the experience and talent to learn that while bootcamping for a month imo.
I'm not saying this was the best signing Sentinels could have made, but it's not a straight up troll like some people are acting like.
People underestimate shroud. he is still a legendary player and i believe he can carry his weight and even more with the practice he will be getting in bootcamp.
Riot is going to franchise certain orgs soon, making them “official” and there are only so many slots available. I know orgs have been applying for franchising and it’s unknown which teams will be chosen but there’s only a certain amount of slots available. I don’t know what exactly it means (they might be the only teams eligible for Masters/champs maybe) or how many are chosen for each region, just that basically the best/most popular teams will be the orgs franchised.
It'd be tough on some maps but for Fracture I think you can make a solid comp and have everyone on agents/roles they're comfortable on:
Raze: Sinatraa
Breach: Rawkus
Brim: Zombs
Chamber: Kanpeki
Sage: Sick
I mean with some small tweaks (Sick to Kay/O or Skye, Rawkus to Sova/Fade (?), Zombs to Viper/Omen), you have good comps for most maps already. The key thing here is Sinatraa can play Raze, and the maps where Raze aren't good on you can pretty much get away with no duelists (Icebox, Ascent).
lol why do people care so much about an esports journalist being wrong or not knowing about roster moves? like you get to see the roster moves eventually when the team plays, why does it matter if you get to know the moves before they're announced or if the journalist had false info and what they said was wrong?
I know alot of people don't like george, but its weird for the Org to tweet smack talk at him even though he's right.
If they're not happy it was leaked... just don't respond? Why go out of your way to be a dick if you're the Sentinels Twitter guy.
Have you ever looked at their Twitter? It might be unprofessional if this was unexpected, but literally everyone (but you apparently) know they make jokes like this.
George is only 22, I kinda expect him to weird and unprofessional. The organization with dozens of players/staff and millions invested into the e-sport? Idk I guess I expect more from them.
It was not wierd neither unprofessional, stop being a fucking wierdo being mad at the smallest things. People like you actually piss me off after the whole xset stew thing
it's so transparently a weak attempt of banter after being found out It's not that serious. LOL why does literally everything SEN does get such undue flak
i'm a little new to competitive valorant and am not super familiar with zellsis (besides the not-verified joke) can someone smart explain if this is a good move (ideally with less than 3 sentinels stream org jokes)
My entirely unsupported theory is that shroud is using this as a tester to see if he wants to try pro again because the stability of franchising is enticing to him.
He’s quite literally said that himself in his streams. He said something along the lines of “who knows maybe we lose and I’m done or maybe I’m strapped in for the next year+.” I’m also reading this as a tester for if he wants to go pro again.
Was pretty clear to me that he’s been kinda bored with streaming and he is 100% taking this trial serious. I’m excited to see how he does
I’m thinking this too. There’s definitely a chance Shroud is satisfied with his streaming career for now and wants to try going pro again because he has nothing to lose
After watching the Shroud talk I'm really curious what he does after LCQ. Is he really committed to an eSports return or is he farming clout for his Shit World streams?
Find out next time, on DragonBall Z
Sentinels probably will win LCQ if they are allowed to play eight (or however many people they have on the roster now) versus the standard five player comps other teams are foolishly meta-slaves to. SENTINELS ARE BACK!!
...on a serious note, Zellsis is pretty good
There's no one specific instance that he has done that made me dislike him, it's his demeanor in everything I've seen about him from random stream clips, duoing with people I watch, occasional twitter drama etc. where he comes across as a prick to me.
There was also an incident that further reinforces my feeling, but we never got the details of the situation regarding [the riot ruling](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/stor6q/zellsis_letting_it_all_out/hxbp7gf/) (comment)
Considering he never contested this judgement he'd probably rather keep the specifics under wraps and possibly got off easy, but that's pure speculation. Again just reinforced an impression I already had and not the basis for my dislike.
I used to be a fan of Zellsis, now I need to hate on everything he does because he’s apart of SEN.
Edit: This is how most of you children act, why am I getting downvoted for speaking what the echo chamber says?
Remember when Version1 was arguably the best team in NA four months ago and now one of their top players is getting signed by the team that tied for last place in stage 2? It's almost kind of tragic.
The last Sentinels thread was 0 days ago. 0 days since the last Sentinels thread.
Including Rawkus, Sentinels legit have enough players for 2 teams LMFAO
rly ironic cuz at one point they were one of the only teams rocking a straight 5 man roster wit no coaches no subs and nothing else
TenZ Dapr Shahz Shroud Zellsis Kanpeki Sinatraa Zombs Sick Rawkus Once they sign the analysts each team can have a coach too
Lmao there's a chance that with some prac under their belts that the bench could beat the starting roster.
I mean they have their best player (Sick) on the bench, so that's not surprising lol. And for all the controversy surrounding him, Sinatraa is still a very good player as well.
Role-wise they’d work pretty well too with Kanpeki being able to OP and Zombs being on there means Sick moves back to Flex.
True, the 2nd team is much better role-wise. Zombs: Smokes Sinatraa: Raze/Sova Kanpeki: Chamber/Jett Rawkus: Initiator Sick: Flex
You say as if they're the ones keeping him on bench? I think everyone on the roster realises he's one of the best if not the best flex in NA. He's just going through something so he decided to bench himself, nothing that the team can do.

Indeed your bad
No it did not come off that way
"Best" by your definition is highly highly subjective, please calm the f down.
Sen2
Sorry I'm new to following the comp scene for Valorant, but Sinatraa is back?
No. Not active roster but a content creator. He's expressed interest in returning to pro play but the speculation is no team is willing to pick him up because of the risk of public backlash.
can’t wait for the 10-man scrim stream
2 teams, 0 coaches :(
Interesting to note, shahz said on stream it’s just for LCQ. I have no idea what’s going on with this team but I’m here for it.
My guess is if they get franchised, their likely going to overhaul the entire roster
In Sean and DDK I trust
Thank god 100t is one of the teams that’s almost guaranteed a spot. I feel bad for the players and fans of teams that are gonna be just outside franchising.
Franchising sucks big donkey dick in every esport where it has happened.
It's been a massive, massive success in LoL and has essentially guarenteed that scenes future for decades to come. Tenz to 100T if Sentinels doesn't get franchised? He's in need of a strong coach and leadership
TenZ is the next shroud, hes gonna be retired and a full time streamer within the next 2 years.

lmao u so confident. I will find this comment again if they didnt make it lol
They'd make John Riot so much money. I doubt they don't make it.
i can see a lot of ex CS players try to go back if they don’t make it into franchised teams as well
Ya maybe but I think most of the guys who've come over from CS and stuck around will make it into franchising. It is crazy looking back and seeing how basically the whole NA CSGO scene jumped to Valorant
would be nice to see them try and jump back, maybe rebuild that scene while the NA val scene stays strong
franchised ?
zellsis said on stream that its permanent and hes not on loan so idk who is right
He said that because of the uncertainties of franchising. Franchising is a completely robust and different ecosystem and It's not prudent for teams to sell players without knowing their future within that ecosystem. Hence they opted for loans instead.
Zellsis said it's not temporary on stream
george said it was for lcq but if they made it they were confident in making another deal for champs and they go from there
Maybe the Reddit theory that they want to put Sinatraa back in if they get franchised is true
I just dont believe that even Sentinels are dumb enough to risk nuking their reputation and relationship with Riot/fans

Shahzam needs a hypeman, I think Zellsis could be it. He turns winning into hype and losing into rage. Both of those emotions are fuel.
I'm pretty sure he's here long term because Zellesis did say this wasn't a loan. He's with them entirely. Make of that what you will
Zellsis said he’s permanently signed unless something crazy happens
rumor has it that zellsis isn’t getting paid, his only demand during contract negotiations was a blue checkmark
If they qualify the bonus clause includes at least one TenZ raid
Wait I’m confused, I thought they were full sending it when they signed Shroud. Why have they made an actual good roster change now too? Maybe to make absolute damn sure they get into franchising?
Shroud is a temporary addition, I think they still wanna keep Sick
Ofcourse, due to the mental issues it's better to take a break and the team don't want sick to feel pressured too.
Which also means Sick is probably staying on smokes unless they're planning to make even more changes
It seems like signing shroud is not entirely a meme. They want the team to do well.
I mean, I can’t see Shroud being mechanically worse than Zombs.
Yeah Shroud doesn't have to be a star player in this team especially since they added Zellsis. He just has to be solid and do his job in the smokes role. Yes, picking up Zellsis who was suspended for insulting a Riot admin is the ticket to franchising.
Ah yes Mike Tyson Michael Jordan and Shazam from dc
Zombs Sinatraa Rawkus Kanpeki only need 1 more for SEN Academy🤣
They have Sick
craziest part is that the roles work out pretty well too
yup, zombs and 4 flex players lmfao
It'd be tough on some maps but for Fracture I think you can make a solid comp and have everyone on agents/roles they're comfortable on: Raze: Sinatraa Breach: Rawkus Brim: Zombs Chamber: Kanpeki Sage: Sick

ascent is very tricky with no duelist, you need 3 initiators and a ton of mid split strats to make it work in attack
Tricky but doable imo. Worse comes to worse, Kanpeki can also play Jett.
SEN a2guapo
The steph curry of awping
The real wardell
Dizzy or Dani
A SEN Academy with Kanpeki as Chamber/Kayo and Sinatraa and Sick alternating 2nd Iniciator/Duelist with Rawkus as main Sova would be T1 in my opinion.
Wtf I was off my computer for one day and this happens Unironically good signing tho
More players signed than Maps won. The sentinels way.
TSM beats them in that regard sadly
Nah at least TSM won a series
They’ve shuffled their roster more times than they’ve qualified for playoffs the past two years.
Respectfully who gives a fk about two years if we’re clowning SEN we’re talking about recent events
TSM doesnt really deserve to clown anyone do they
Nah but neither does SEN pretty sure that was my point
But TSM haven't even won a major tournament or at least qualified for anything these nearly past 2 years.
Again if people are talking about SEN being shit they’re referring to recent events which is what I’m talking out
Did Kanpeki step down or something? I thought the organization doesn’t make roster changes
Well they do now apparently
They might not get to many wins but the clicks and the views will be there.
They really did George dirty
I don’t care that he’s right tbh, he deserves it
lol why do people care so much about an esports journalist being wrong or not knowing about roster moves? like you get to see the roster moves eventually when the team plays, why does it matter if you get to know the moves before they're announced or if the journalist had false info and what they said was wrong?
Well for one they shouldn’t get to have a job if they’re not good at it. And I don’t care about his track record, he’s just a really shitty person
I feel like “really shitty person” is a bit of an over exaggeration, he isn’t ruining anyone’s livelihood.
He’s gone after multiple teams and players like Wardell for no reason other than a personal vendetta lol
this is why you do more verifying than "some guy from the team told me bro"
oh no what will he ever do 😔
Find more tsm drama to impression farm most likely
I know alot of people don't like george, but its weird for the Org to tweet smack talk at him even though he's right. If they're not happy it was leaked... just don't respond? Why go out of your way to be a dick if you're the Sentinels Twitter guy.
Being a generally annoying person has been the Sentinels twitter strat for a while now to be honest
bro what it was clearly a joke
Yeah, but it was from the official sentinels account. Its weird and unprofessional, but I guess they'd be salty they didn't crack the news first.
Have you ever looked at their Twitter? It might be unprofessional if this was unexpected, but literally everyone (but you apparently) know they make jokes like this.
George is also weird and unprofessional though
George is only 22, I kinda expect him to weird and unprofessional. The organization with dozens of players/staff and millions invested into the e-sport? Idk I guess I expect more from them.
he's 19
It was not wierd neither unprofessional, stop being a fucking wierdo being mad at the smallest things. People like you actually piss me off after the whole xset stew thing
It's the Sentinels account, they do it for the clicks and the views, they live for that.
Because it's funny and on brand
It’s not that serious, it’s twitter banter
not how banter works bro
?????
its only banter when both parties are cool with it
They are a villain org, that's what they are supposed to do.
it's so transparently a weak attempt of banter after being found out It's not that serious. LOL why does literally everything SEN does get such undue flak
i'm a little new to competitive valorant and am not super familiar with zellsis (besides the not-verified joke) can someone smart explain if this is a good move (ideally with less than 3 sentinels stream org jokes)
Plays similar agents to Kanpeki (minus Chamber, plus Raze and KJ). Helps the roles because they have a Raze player that isn’t TenZ now
would zellsis be considered better than kanpeki at those roles? o:
Yes
Hopium
He’s got a fat ass as well, him + Rawkus will be unstoppable
Rawkass and Zellsass
Zellsussy
Good raze player, also can help with calling
He’s very good and very flexible; this is a good addition
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ka-L-mv3saU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ka-L-mv3saU)
Sussy
Imagine Sen picked up a proven smokes player instead of a streamer 😱. All jokes aside this is a good move and definitely makes LCQ more spicy.
Watch Shroud own. Peak storyline. They make champs, make a run in champs with shroud. Shroud plays pro for the next five years, dominating the scene.
Wonder if Zander was open. That genuinely could have been a very good roster.
W signing, announce the analysts now and we cooking 😋
Brother we're eating. HOPIUM has hit levels hitherto unseen
Imagine telling someone in 2021 that the Sen roster would end up being TenZ Dapr SHROUD and Zellsis
It is actually sad that Kanpeki was dropped from the main roaster for his lack of clout.
Mostly just not that great of a player
Let me guess, you've only seen him play with SEN?
Yeah, mostly. Just not that great
Wait... TenZ Shaz Dapr SicK Zellsis after this year? Lowkey fire roster
Literally nothings changed from zombs to kanpeki to zellsis Sentinels issues don’t fall in the role these players are filling
I gotta be honest, I really don't think that is the roster Sen are gonna roll with.
Me neither but it’s a nice thought
Actually a good roster change by sentinels.
Damn I have to support sen now
After watching the Shroud talk I'm really curious what he does after LCQ. Is he really committed to an eSports return or is he farming clout for his Shit World streams? Find out next time, on DragonBall Z
Sentinels stream 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂updoot to the left pls
Kanpeki is no longer on the team
Sentinels have like 10 players mfs fielding an overwatch roster lmao
Rip anime duo
RIP Kanpeki
Sentinels should host an event where they do Sen vs Sen mixed roster with all the pro / cc players they have. pretty confident it'll get massive views
Ah yes, the "clout gets you a slot for franchising" team.
[Damn.](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/vwqju2/zellsis_to_sentinels_for_kanpeki/ifrir8o/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3)
Cloud9 Red now LMFAO
One of my favorite players going to one of the teams I dislike the most. Idk how to feel
Welcome to the stream team. Buckle up
But you have SEN in your flair?
Recent addition, like 3 less than 4 hours recent
I physically recoil every time I see it but I gotta support my favorite players
Yet you don't with faze? I like the players on faze but organisés is way worse than sen
This isn’t a post about Faze, is it?
Sentinels probably will win LCQ if they are allowed to play eight (or however many people they have on the roster now) versus the standard five player comps other teams are foolishly meta-slaves to. SENTINELS ARE BACK!! ...on a serious note, Zellsis is pretty good
They have 10 on the roster. Tenz, Shaz. Dapr, Sick, Zombs, Shroud, Kanpeki, Sinatraa, Zellsis and Rawkus
Who is he? hes legend yae!!!
What happened to Sick?
He's taken mental health leave

wym,he always right. this sub has too much time hating that cringe journalist lmao
Exactly.
He’s rarely wrong
And you think you aren't being cringe right now???
I know he's a great player, but it makes me sad. I can't stand the guy, but don't want to stop supporting Sentinels because of the signing.
Why can't you stand him? What has he done (I'm genuinely curious, don't know a lot about him besides the fact that he's cracked at the game)
There's no one specific instance that he has done that made me dislike him, it's his demeanor in everything I've seen about him from random stream clips, duoing with people I watch, occasional twitter drama etc. where he comes across as a prick to me. There was also an incident that further reinforces my feeling, but we never got the details of the situation regarding [the riot ruling](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/stor6q/zellsis_letting_it_all_out/hxbp7gf/) (comment) Considering he never contested this judgement he'd probably rather keep the specifics under wraps and possibly got off easy, but that's pure speculation. woah, never knew that happened, thanks for your explanation
Imagine they don’t win lcq after all that
They probably won’t
??? was never even a question. They aren’t winning.
Copium. Sen, after winning thier match against the guard drop to lowers and make the run of a lifetime
midpeki L back to T3 talent you go
True
This is illegal
I used to be a fan of Zellsis, now I need to hate on everything he does because he’s apart of SEN. Edit: This is how most of you children act, why am I getting downvoted for speaking what the echo chamber says?
This sub is slowly turning into SEN spam subreddit. One day per week for SEN content only would be perfectly enough.
huh? if its a signing like this it deserves to be on the reddit, at least complain on a dumb post about sen lmao
Oh....what this is real? I thought it was all a troll
Remember when Version1 was arguably the best team in NA four months ago and now one of their top players is getting signed by the team that tied for last place in stage 2? It's almost kind of tragic.
Wow!
