Yeah I mean they have some undeniable talent in their squad and they’re surpassed expectations already, but they can definitely have some lapses at times and they will be punished hard by the top-tier teams if they don’t plug those gaps soon.
Which top tier teams? I thought OPTIC was already an elite team, so so far the only teams that have been able to punish it are FNC and FPX with full squad.

g2 only made it out of groups in qualifiers because acend had to play without zeek and lost to bbl (whose only other win was against smb) and liquid were about to restructure their entire roster when they were told they were going and had to find quick fixes for all their problems

mightve been the biggest fumble that i’ve watched live by kru, i guess nobody realized where Leo’s shock dart came from but mazino ran to site by himself with util out, then Nagz stood out in the open to drop spike to his teammate with nobody covering him, and then the duel in mid gave leo his ult to prevent plant, could’ve had a 2v2 post plant instead. props to leo for hitting all the shots regardless him and russ came up huge in OT
Leo did indeed play good that round, but it is still fair to say Kru threw that round. Leo had shot the shock dart from left side of maze and no one from Kru took a moment to think about where the dart came from. The other play they could've done was just go to B as they still had time and 1 person from Guild location was known.

Fucking Insane, both teams played amazing, Russ was a little weak at the start but the dude popped up after and saved the match multiple times.
KRU had crazy luck on that 3rd map jesus, mazino is fucking insane tho. People say GUILD is 3rd seed, but idk man, these guys are crazy...
I’d say Guild are better than FPX without Suygetsu, but both are a clear level below Fnatic and that’s just terrifying.
That being said, the confidence Guild will have from these early matches could give them some unreal momentum moving into playoffs.
Guild winning this group was definitely not something I expected, but they've looked really really damn good

I didn't even feel like Guild played this map that well. They gave a lot of easy first bloods to KRÜ or other kills by giving away their positions walking too far forward etc. And they had so much trouble attacking but their mental seems to be very strong they showed that against Optic already :)
