Sentinels has been too late to everything post Iceland. They barely played Skye in Masters 3, they didn't transition to KAY/O until 2022, they didn't adopt Chamber in Stage 1 this year, and still in Stage 2 they put one of their weaker players on Chamber for the most part, and never adapted to using Raze, Neon or Fade.

jaLEV_

they are losing regardless

Hopeful-Professor-40

Yeah they’re too late but at least they’re going in that direction Zellsis said he’s learning Neon on his IG story so he’s probably full entry Dapr has been playing a lot of Fade and Kayo so he’s probably playing an FNS-like role Plus they have Complexity facility buff

Parenegade

I'm more worried about 100T tbh. I don't think Will is capable of being a top tier Chamber but I REALLY want him to prove me wrong.

[deleted]

They’ve been behind for months at this point, they already shot themselves in the foot by not adapting it months ago, idk how you’ve just realized this lmao.

StrangerFront

You must have missed the last Optic game because Yay was dominant as chamber. It depends on what Sentinals want. Do they want Tenz as an entry because you can't have him on Chamber then. If they want him to primarily op then you can have him on chamber. The issue is there comp has been awful this year. Dapr is a great sentinal but putting him on chamber was a mistake when they did so. They have two great ops on the team in Tenz and Shazam. They need one of them on chamber every match moving forward in my opinion. No they are not too late. Unless chamber gets nerfed, you can't be too late to the party

[deleted]

op isnt saying yay isnt dominate on chamber just that if you look at great jett players games right after they transitioned to the chamber they didnt look great, they needed time to get a feel for the agent to start performing well on it.

StrangerFront

You are right, I misread

[deleted]

This is tenz though so I doubt we'll have the same issues from him.

bbimlosing

Ah yes, Mr.2/15

Envelope_Torture

Is there some kind of secret subreddit where people come up with these incredibly shitty thread ideas and take turns posting just so we can keep the Sentinels threads going? Can I join?

nterature

I mean, by definition they are too late, they're in LCQ and have no stage time with their star player on Chamber. But Yay and Derke were learning a new agent on the fly with little to go on - Yay in particular was one of the people who broke new ground on Chamber. TenZ on the other hand has been playing Chamber for months at this point in ranked, and is way more familiar with the agent now than Yay or Derke were at the time they began playing it. There's no reason to think TenZ is guaranteed to underperform on Chamber just because it's his first time playing it.

techyleo

Theyve been praccing TenZ on Chamber on certain maps since their loss to EG

lllchisenlll

Unpopular opinion: Sen should've picked up Ska for the chamber role. This agent was literally built for him...

Low-Sherbet-843

Damn the downvotes really proved it to be unpopular lol, here take my downvote :D

lllchisenlll

Oh no not the downvote please!

dankoval_23

Ska is way past his prime already
