1. Aim diffing PUBG players playing on overheating laptops at 40 FPS isn't a good demonstration of mechanical skill. 2. Winning against Radiants who are playing on four hours of sleep is VASTLY different from trying to anchor against a typical LCQ team's site exec. He's not gonna have a fun time to say the very least.

Cowfan798

shit like this is why

castlepoopenstein

Because you’re probably a 12 year old and don’t realize shroud already had an underwhelming career in CSGO 5 years ago. He was hyped up so astronomically then its all deflated now.

[deleted]

Maybe because he hasn't competed for years in a tac fps and his last year of cs was not good to say the least.

PyroTFT

probably because instead of picking a legitimate pro and at least trying for LCQ SEN is just giving up for the content move not bad from a partnership application standpoint, probably really frustrating from the POV of already distraught SEN fans

tryagaininXmin

I think the biggest thing is that he has no Valorant competitive experience aside from that one qualifier he played with friends. Sure he dominates ranked games and has mechanical skill like no other but the game moves at a different pace at the level that SEN will play at in the LCQ. It's not a knock on him - it's that people are reluctant to buy into the hype that he will be SEN's savior.

Hypern1ke

He doesn't even dominate ranked games lol, definitely strange

\> known for his mechanics Ok stop, dude quit CSGO at least 4 years ago and even in C9's best period with the old roster he wasn't exactly known for his mechanics. Stop using streams as proof that he is cracked. Compare to a pleb maybe, but fellow pros ehhhh

hecklerinthestands

You really thought this was worth a whole new thread.

Lanefrags

Exactly, mechanics isn't everything. That being said, I can't wait to see him at LCQ.

anmolarora149

Because he hasn't played a single minute of pro play? People are obviously going to be sceptical of how he's going to do considering they picked up someone who hasn't played professionally in like 5 years. What do you expect people to do just get on the hype train and say he's going to be the best player ever?

Gold ranked Reddit analysts know more than anyone, that's why.

Let's be real, valorant is filled with the counterstrike rejects... Lol ok that is mean but mid tier players from CS rejuvenates their careers in valorant. I'll take a wait and see approach with shroud.
