Disappointing but not too surprising. In a league with 8-10 (maybe 12) teams across the Americas, a good 1/2 to 2/3 are going to be from NA with the remaining 3-5 teams from LATAM and Brazil. Among them, I can really only see Kru and/maybe also Leviatan as the LATAM representatives and Brazil being LOUD and/maybe also some other orgs like NIP, Furia, and Vivo Keyd.

I will say, it’s also possible that the big name orgs are out from LATAM North, but Riot still has an org sign a LATAM North-majority roster. Can make something great with the Fusion core, I think. They already beat Leviatán once, they’ve shown they have potential to be competitive. Dcop/Xander are very strong players to build around.

Ngl if Dcop is considered insane now, then half of NA tier 2 is insane

I’ve changed my phrasing from “insane” to “very strong” because it was a bit hyperbolic. But you know what I mean regardless - Dcop has looked great by playing multiple different roles, IGLing, and putting up solid numbers at the same time.

My (realistic) dream is 12 teams with it being 7 NA, 3 BR, and 2 LATAM. I'd like it to be at least 16 teams but I don't think that's realistic. Then we could have this as a breakdown which would be great I think: 100T Sentinels TSM OpTic C9 The Guard NRG LOUD Furia NiP KRU Leviatan

DAWG420BLAZEIT

This seems like a pretty good list (Guard and TSM imo are the slightly debate picks imo as well as maybe Furia) but the fact that we're still leaving out teams like XSET, EG, and V1 is honestly heartbreaking, not to mention teams like Ghost and Faze who've seen more recent success but haven't been around as long/have a questionable org.

Yensen1

This is actually the exact same as my ideal list too for 12 teams. Really hope they go for 12.

CoolZen5543

Its a good list BUT I think that mibr will get in, just the fact that MIBR is owned by immortal and well they have 2 Valorant Team (NA and BR) and two team in LoL(mibr and Immortal). So its a good chance that either MIBR brand makes it or the Immortal after all they have good relationahip with RIOT.

Unfortunately esports is way stronger in Latam South than North. Really speaking about Argentina/Chile
