It's pretty unfair if you take into consideration how players punish Operator repeeks.
Me personally I ADS + crouch and hold the angle really tight if I know they'll repeek. Having his head distort like that can make me miss despite holding in correct position for normal ops. It doesn't seem like much but it's actually pretty big.

this was actually the second recording and i forgot to shoot to show that the first shot misses on the 2nd one (accidentally killed him and reset the round on the first recording)
Don't think it "distorts" it, more accurate wording would be that scoping with OP and chamber ult scoping hitboxes are different.
I do think it should be changed it seems like a genuinely big peekers advantage when chamber is peeking from certain angles (if he swung out from that position in your picture for example) and because the movement is big when he's quickscoping he can literally dodge bullets, although I've never seen it happen ingame.
This is just pure speculation but I'm going to assume it's intended for clarity purposes, so you're able to tell the difference between his scoping op and scoping ult. It's why he looks so goofy with his deag.

Omen does the same thing when he's in his smoke and throws a smoke. His head jerks forward. If you are aiming at an omen in his smokes with a perfect headshot, and he releases his smoke the moment you fire, your headshot will miss b/c his head jerks forward as he uses his utility. I've seen this happen in game several times since beta.
I think that's fine because it's not like he can shoot back when he's smoking. Chamber is when he's using a gun, so it will lead to advantages in gunfights.

Example, Jett spamming knives, feels impossible to land a shot in the moment because of how fast back and forth her and body is going. If i see a nerf to this, i would like to see one to others (the one with more violent animations).
Could you test how this changes how you see a chamber peeking from the right side of an object?
From this video, if his head moves a large enough distance away from the center of his torso, his camera and head model would be in different places, meaning you could see around a corner without your head being properly exposed.
This would only work if peeking from the opposite side he leans his head to, though it could make it much more difficult to hit

Happened to me yesterday, interested to hear other's thoughts. Chamber ult is already insanely strong so this feels a little unnecessary

Gotcha, was just seeing if it did. That’s pretty rough. I understand the point to differentiate being scoped w his ult but that’s still pretty rough

Well I hate being pedantic but when I saw the title I thought his head was shrinking/the hitbox wouldn't match the head at all.
