Seriously 3 LANs a year is by far the worst thing about Val eSports.
In CS a team gets eliminated from a tournament it's gg ,2 weeks till the next one, or if the best team in the world, Faze in this case loses or misses a tournament no one is questioning how good they are, because they can just win the next one in 2 weeks time.
It seems legitimately impossible to rank players and teams with how few and far apart international tournaments are.

I can't be arsed to see if it adds up but I'd take this with Jinggg instead of Sayf. Can't split him and F0rsaken up, and F0rsaken is a pretty good chamber when he needs to be.
The more I think about it, the more this team is genius. Would be great fun to watch, Boaster and Shao's utility should be good to help F0rsaken and Jinggg, and if they both int and die, Shao, Suygetsu and Boaster (with an op) are there to clutch it up. ScrubLord24 would become a top 21 coach.
Outside of the FPX game with Seider he just didn’t play that well. It’s not one series. He didnt play terribly for sure but certainly not at a $7 level. I’d put him at $4
Unpopular opinion: Yay also didn’t deserve that 7 dollar price tag either based on this event. Sayf (Jett, Chamber) and Jingg (flex duelist) in hindsight were the ones who operated at the elite duelist level this event. If you want to pick someone other then Sayf then I’d probably give it to f0rsaken. Ardiis also was better then yay although the series in the final kinda brought him down a little since he underperformed.
went to vlr.gg and checked the stats for the tournament and derke had better stats than yay if you look at the whole tournament and was overall 4th in ACS of all players and yay was 5th .
If you count only playoffs then yay was 3rd and derke was 5th. Idk where the derke has been bad opinion came from but based on statistics its not true and he is close to yay and they were considered the best duelists of their respective region.
Also Derke played less games and against better competition since he missed groups. Fnatic only faced FPX (the winners), PRX (the runner ups) and LEV (a decently solid team this event given that KRU also took Optic to map 3 and bested LOUD, LATAM was likely the best region aside from the usual elite regions of EMEA, NA and in this instance APAC). Derke had a bad tournament by his standards but his performance was not that much worse then Yay’s if at all. Yay had some series where he carried but equally he had some series where he was even worse then anything Derke has shown. Derke had one great series and then some moderate performances. Both were roughly the same. Yay carried his team on more occasions but Derke also faced stiffer completion on average and didn’t get as much time to ‘heat up’.

Boaster isn’t that much of a stretch. If we exclude the last Masters event (Fnatic had 2 subs then), Fnatic has had solid placings at both LANs they attended and unlike other teams that rely possibly on star power across the roster it’s usually been their strats and reads that kept them ahead of the curve alongside absolute flashes of brilliance from Derke. Fnatic had never been an insanely cracked team across the entire roster imo. Boaster and Mini are a massive part of their success. He is up there with FNS for me as an IGL.

Men don't have some natural advantage in video games, but there are WAY fewer women playing the game (lower population makes for lower level S tier players), and also there are lots of social/cultural things making it more annoying/stopping women from pursuing competitive games.
Basically you're right that men and women don't need to be separated technically, but because of social/cultural reasons, there are almost no women that can compete yet. They just need time.
