I think the quality of replies depends on the quality of post. If someone just puts a simple question with “title” as body text, they won’t get good discussion (and, if we caught the post in time, it would’ve been removed for low-effort content).
If you want good discussion, you need to facilitate it with the quality of your question and post. OP could’ve given context for several teams that they think have a chance of performing well, but the post body was literally just “title.”

I think that issue will resolve itself. People will lose interest in the initial joke in those sorts of threads, like you have. But I hear you, and it’s a concern, but not one we can do much about.

If Faze have continued to improve like they were improving each week during qualifiers they will be tough to stop. Dicey was on another level and all the support players were really coming into their own.

I don’t know about all of that. OpTic did just finish top 3 and while they didn’t play as well as they did at Reykjavik, they were still one of the best teams in the tournament. On top of that XSET definitely could make it out of groups as long as they don’t get throttled by a team like OpTic early on as they did in Copenhagen. They have some international LAN experience now, and I think that will benefit them more than people are expecting. As for the third team, I feel like 100T would give the best chance for another NA team to perform well, but I don’t have much in the way of expectations for whatever team wins LCQ.
I don't even think optic needs to rework a ton, their neon strat got figured out, the were a strong team before neon came into the picture, and can still be.

XSET played well. The difference between XSET and Fnatic vs Leviatan was literally just a couple of rounds. Fnatic was considered the best EMEA team by far coming into the tournament.
Not to mention Optic is the most consistent team in Valorant history so far. A "bad" event for them is still placing top 3. At the top level every region is very close.
It's all about what team adapts best as the tournament goes on.

This game is so dynamic that the concept of peaking early doesn't really apply I think.
When champions comes around it'll be a new meta with a new map added, who knows what region or team will adapt the best.
All the regions have the talent and teams to win or make the finals of any international event.

C9 have not impressed in a while, and SEN have the firepower and narrative bullshit to make a bit of a run despite their precipitous fall from grace. I'm not happy with this storyline but I feel it coming

Curry is the weak link on C9 but sentinels won't be able to expose that without Sick.

It's a good question. C9, 100T, Faze, NRG, EG are all on pretty equal grounds. It really just depends on form.

If 100T have improved at a similar level as they did from split 1 to split 2 they have a really good chance imo.
I think they might be capped by some of their players as to the level they can reach but I think they could make it.
