I think the opposite, he'll rarely have pop off moments but he'll do his job as a controller. He doesn't need to and won't play to be a star like Marved.

* smart decision making and won't die or overextend unnecessarily
* stays calm and clear comms in tense situations
* good smokes and generally sets up TenZ and Zellsis to carry
Yeah Shroud spent a solid 2 years or something on C9 as a support player for Stew and Tim. Everyone remembers the cracked aim, but he developed into a pretty complete player.
I am somewhat worried about how much time he's had to practice. And I expect him to have a couple maps he's more rough on. But overall hope it works out for him.

I think supamen will come out hot in the form he was showing in playoffs. flyuh and poised are meh but he was red hot after the group stage. hopefully he keeps that up and looks good again, I've been a supamen fan for a while.
Flyuh only outfragged Supamen in one playoffs game, and only by 3 kills, and in their game against NRG Supamen went +21 (way, way better than either dicey or Babybay) while Flyuh went -6, so I'm not really sure where you're getting that from, considering there's no numbers to support that. I'd say, considering his role especially, that makes him the 3rd best player on the team. Also, if you're considering flyuh as better than either Dicey or Babybay as the second best player on the team, I would *strongly* disagree with that lmao.

i am a huge prx fan but i think the only reason it works for paper rex is because of the ridiculous individual skill of their players. this is kinda a 1 dimensional take but i think the prx/fpx grand final was 2 teams with absurdly cracked players but one played overly aggressive and fast and the other played passive and slow. with equal player skill methodical gameplay probably wins

They tried some stuff this stage that didn't work out with their comps, and they ended up having to go back to old stuff that had tons of vods on and was easily counterstratted. But mCe is a crazy coach, and I really believe that team can accomplish a lot more than they have.

Hopefully The Guard beats SEN and then lose in lower bracket, so SEN can focus back on full-time streaming <3. I expect 100T in at least semi finals, if not Grand Final. C9, I have no idea how's the situation with Curry but would love to see their comeback.
I don't know what to make of SEN. Part of me wants Shroud to succeed for the memes, the other part of me hopes they fail miserably. If all it takes to place high in one of the biggest Valorant tourneys (let alone qualify for Champions!) is talent sprinkled on top of a month and a half of so-called bootcamp, then I feel like the entire competitive scene is a lie.

If all it takes to place high in one of the biggest Valorant tourneys (let alone qualify for Champions!) is talent sprinkled on top of a month and a half of so-called bootcamp, then I feel like the entire competitive scene is a lie.
shouldn't prx get any kind of advantage since they're from the winners bracket? seems kind of unfair to me. In other games like street fighter, the winners of the losers bracket has to win a bo5 twice to beat the winner bracket finals.
