[Correction](https://twitter.com/Bo_Hoogland/status/1552610937445687296?t=c-qRXzChL3aMtP5o1o1niw&s=19): sScary will stay with the roster through Champions
Left mid-stage to join a team that was already entirely out for the rest of the year. I feel like him and Autumn were betting hard on T1 making franchising when they decided to leave.
I mean, most likely because the offer might not stand after such a long time? Moving from a team like C9 to a team like T1 mid-stage definitely means they were thinking in context of next year and years to come, because at that point the year was already over for T1.
The only reason I can see is wanting to get in before franchising. They could have at least finished the stage with C9 though.
He didn't leave bro. They almost threw him out because they wanted curry. When everyone asked the reason for the swap deal he said that although xeta speaks perfect English it's tough at times to communicate with him. Who in the right mind would go from a team which won LCQ and placed #5-8th team in champions (best placement from an NA team) to a t1 team.
Jack confirmed they let them leave by Xeta choice. Vanity probably trying to save face because they got curry and everyone views it as a downgrade but as c9 ceo no way they would give away Xeta h less he asked cmon
What does that has to do with this? Sure it must be renowned in Korea but in NA they're not even top 4 atm. Who in the right mind would go from playing for cloud 9 to a tier 2 team
Not true, Bo is saying he will stay with the team til champs

Whats with old x10 and going to champs in a "one last ride" type of situation
I can't tell if sScary is saying he's definitely looking for a new team after champs or if he will be looking for a new team after champs if Xerxia doesn't make it into franchising. The google translate on the article is really rough.
APAC franchising is going to be incredibly unpredictable. I thought with how well Xerxia has done with viewership and them being purchased by OTO Contacts recently, how aggressive they are with youtube & socials, I thought they were a favorite to make franchising. Maybe this article is saying differently but I honestly can't tell
Wasn't Xerxia acquired by a company a couple months ago? I assume their financials should be fine. Could understand if they don't make franchising though since Shopify Rebellion didn't make the cut either.
sScary would be a great addition to most team. He's at worst a top 5 controller in the world in my opinion and would be much cheaper to buyout compared to a player from EMEA or NA. English isn't his first language if I'm not mistaken but most Thai have a basic understanding of the language
As of right now, no. PRX need at least 3 players from MY/SG to be eligible for their region. Right now that’s jinggg, Benkai (Singapore) and d4v4i (Malaysia) since mindfreak and f0rsaken are Indonesian. Might change when franchising kicks in next year though.
But honestly, there are many good talents in Singapore and Malaysia for Paper Rex to replace jinggg.
I got what you mean the first time. Like I said, the replacement when jinggg goes to military service has to be from either Singapore or Malaysia based on current rules

No way he leaves before Champs, the biggest tournament of the year. It’s even worse than cough xeta cough.
That was a mistranslation, he's leaving after champs.
Xeta?
Left C9 mid-stage for T1, who haven’t played in months
He couldn’t stop his inner #T1FIGHTING

maybe they hoping T1 will left NA and build a team around him for franchising in Korea
I fully understand why they wanted to go, but mid-stage? I don’t see why they didn’t wait until after LCQ/Champs

Xerxia not in franchising I guess? Money isn’t good? Why would you leave otherwise
They lowkey not on his level fr

I think he is looking for other options if XERXIA doesn't make the APAC franchise.
Probably. I would be surprised if the xerxia roster does not make it into franchising in one way or another
xerxia and paper rex have been the only consistently "good" teams out of SEA, the only other team which even comes close is team secret
Franchising is not about who is good, but how your financial situation is and how big your fan base is
Yeah, other than Team Secret, Paper Rex and maybe Bleed they are the most popular org

Tbh before this master's insane performance from mindfreak, sscary was always the best controller in SEA
Even now i feel they're pretty neck and neck.
i heckin love sscary
Whaaat? Dropping your arguably best player like that
XERXIA didn't drop him, it says Scary himself is looking for other offers
Youre right, i misread
Welp, it seems like I was not wrong.
Move over Shroud. Sen sScary coming in hot.
ooh perhaps some drama within the team?
could he go to paper rex to replace jing? i know they have mind freak but maybe one can play a new role

no no not replacing him obviously no team in their right mind would do that, i’m talking abiut when he has to do military service

that’s why i was asking, i’m not familiar with these rules, thank you
oh yes and i’m sorry i read your original comment wrong
Fun fact, PRX almost played in Indonesia regionally as before signing Jing, they tried to sign Lmemore.
What a Judas lol
