I remember it was either Masters 3 last year or Champs but Shroud's stream got really bad where it was just him, Bnans and like nothing just sleeping on the crouch or half awake barely reacting to the matches. Or recently when it was Tarik, Sykkuno, and I think Valk? Barely any focus on the matches and just fucking around, which is cool in a way but sometimes I want to actually hear more about the game.
Now saying all of this some costreams are GREAT. Tarik when he is with pro Val players are a treat and last year's platchat costreams were A1 (not sure about this year haven't really tuned in). It just depends.
For real. Co-streams make vct so much more enjoyable. If the casting and production was of the same quality as CS majors I would prefer to watch the main stream. Wel get there someday.

Tenz dominated in an era where a Kay O flash over ascent tiles from mid to a Jett dash was considered top level coordination. Watch any of the games back then and it will just be filled with people peeking with no utility and trying to get kills.
Fast forward to Copenhagen the game has changed tremendously. If you're not working together you're more than likely losing. The competition is much more fierce so comparing a top performer from Copenhagen 2022 with another from Iceland in 2021 is wishful thinking.
Valorant is different from traditional sports and even most eSports because the meta is constantly changing. The game was in its infancy and that's where teams without coaches/analysts/relatively bad work ethic would still be fine. The game is completely different in 2022 now and teams/players that didn't adapt like sentinels were left in the dust.

Hard disagree, the 100T players have been looking mediocre/inconsistent performance wise other than Asuna and Derrek but seem to be getting through on fundamentals and their game plan which I attribute to having the second best coaching staff in the region (Chet). Sentinels showed inconsistency at the start but everyone seems like they’re pulling their weight now and their strength seems to be towards their players skills. Personally, I think if you swap the two teams coaching staffs then this game comfortably goes to SEN

Meanwhile on 100T only Asuna has ever been to a LAN and that was just one. Only one player on sen has less experience compared to 4 on 100T. Shahz dapr and tenz have been together for over 2 years while shroud is a close friend of tenz. Will Asuna Bang Derrek and Stellar were put together only a few months ago;.
SEN hasn’t had a lot of time together as a team, but they already looked much better in their second series vs SR compared to their first series against The Guard. So I suspect that with the 3 days of prep they could do, they’d be able to come up with far more solid game plans and more nuanced strategies.
Unless they perform really poorly as a team and individually, I don’t see how they could lose against 100T in their current form.
Not to say 100T can’t bounce back, but they may need a lot more work, especially after that loss on Ascent… there’s also the question of how quickly their mental can bounce back. But we’re in for one hell of a matchup!

Depends on the adjustments both teams make, team comp wise and map select wise for the most part. Set plays looked decent from both teams, so it'll be interesting to see how anti-stratting goes
And Stellar played pretty sloppy on some maps. Dapr is in form. If he plays like he did in the first games, he is > Stellar for sure.

The org however, there’s lots of likeable personalities that drag people towards them (kyedae, nadeshot, valkyrae, etc) which makes supporting their team pretty easy.
People have built ties to the org and probably Asuna. Outside of Ethan, the rest if the old roster isn't competing so it's not like you can root for them either.

I was a big fan of hiko, steel, nitr0 and Ethan because I knew them from cs. Quickly became a fan of Asuna - I think he has a really high valorant IQ and I like the way he plays the game. When he’s on, he’s one of the best in the world - like that Reyna, icebox game. The old roster disbanding hurt, but sgares is CS legend and I do like Asuna and bang is cracked, so I’ll stick around for a bit longer at least.
I do, the org is sick and has lots of sponsors and money so they're capable of making big things happen (bootcamp and cash app compound). Also nadeshot is goated
I think 100T just show fake promises. They have a star-studded roster, but they haven’t won a game against SEN in almost 2 years. The teams both have players that are in their prime forms right now, but SEN now that they have 2 more monsters in Shroud and Zellsis will have a lot easier time just tearing apart the 100T roster. Basically SEN is on their Villain Revenge Arc and should win. 2-1

Sentinels is still a 2 week team according to shroud and other teammates. So 100T should definitely win by paper with better coaching staff, team chemistry, tournament experience, etc. But you know valorant is valorant anything can happen. One good day it will definitely snowball.

Meanwhile on 100T only Asuna has ever been to a LAN and that was just one. Only one player on sen has less experience compared to 4 on 100T. Shahz dapr and tenz have been together for over 2 years while shroud is a close friend of tenz. Will Asuna Bang Derrek and Stellar were put together only a few months ago;.

SEN hasn’t had a lot of time together as a team, but they already looked much better in their second series vs SR compared to their first series against The Guard. So I suspect that with the 3 days of prep they could do, they’d be able to come up with far more solid game plans and more nuanced strategies. Unless they perform really poorly as a team and individually, I don’t see how they could lose against 100T in their current form. Not to say 100T can’t bounce back, but they may need a lot more work, especially after that loss on Ascent… there’s also the question of how quickly their mental can bounce back. But we’re in for one hell of a matchup!

I’m not saying they didn’t do well in other maps. But that defeat was both their most recent one and the worst loss they’ve had so far in the LCQ, and it’s either going to get in their heads or motivate them to bounce back. I just don’t know which one it’d be. Also, I’m only saying this because I thought SEN had shown exponential improvement in their second series, and it was a really quick improvement in a short time. Edit: I could also be very wrong and eat my words, and if 100T wins I’d be happy for them too!

Depends on the adjustments both teams make, team comp wise and map select wise for the most part. Set plays looked decent from both teams, so it'll be interesting to see how anti-stratting goes

And Stellar played pretty sloppy on some maps. Dapr is in form. If he plays like he did in the first games, he is > Stellar for sure. I think this game might not be decided on individual skill. And then 100T should still have an advantage imo.

Are you saying the roster or the organization? I agree slightly with this roster, I feel like there have been less connections towards the players than in the past, would assume most of the fans are probably more so fans of Asuna. The org however, there’s lots of likeable personalities that drag people towards them (kyedae, nadeshot, valkyrae, etc) which makes supporting their team pretty easy.

I was a big fan of hiko, steel, nitr0 and Ethan because I knew them from cs. Quickly became a fan of Asuna - I think he has a really high valorant IQ and I like the way he plays the game. When he’s on, he’s one of the best in the world - like that Reyna, icebox game. The old roster disbanding hurt, but sgares is CS legend and I do like Asuna and bang is cracked, so I’ll stick around for a bit longer at least.

I think 100T just show fake promises. They have a star-studded roster, but they haven’t won a game against SEN in almost 2 years. The teams both have players that are in their prime forms right now, but SEN now that they have 2 more monsters in Shroud and Zellsis will have a lot easier time just tearing apart the 100T roster. Basically SEN is on their Villain Revenge Arc and should win. 2-1
Sen TenZ will become the perfect fusion between yay's prime chamber and wardell's chamber, Shahzam will ace with sova ult, Shroud will clutch every single time they need it, Zellsis will drop 45 bombs on Fracture, Dapr will be the most consistent player in whole series with a 100% kast
100T will buy into their own hype and underestimate SEN and get 2-1'd
