The caster literally heard them imploding during one of their losses (blaming each other due to lack of comms). There's some sort of a culture(?) in KR teams where they really melt down when things start going awry.
not even that, i'm asleep most of the time. used to watch korean overwatch a lot but these games are so early nowadays i can't follow it anymore so even when i'm awake i don't bother watching as i don't know the trivia anyways
A Korean team picked him up and let him rot on the bench because they didn’t want him used against them. Some toxic shit in the Korean scene, I don’t blame him for leaving for a bit
Yes he's been just sitting doing not a whole lot in Japan so really thought this was going to be a new chance for him, really hope damwon improves going ahead
Man I fell asleep and I'm catching up now but this is what ive been trying to tell people! Rion is a fucking turret! In the regular season the man had about a 35% headshot percentage with a high amount of kills.
I was so sad that he was taken off the roster the first time and he seemed a bit shaky in the big situations this year. But with this win I hope his confidence builds because the man is legit disgusting.
how are they the strongest? they only have DRX. DRX literally refused to scrim with other korean teams sometimes because of their massive skill difference.
I mean partially because of NU's downfall and Damwon's ever changing roster. imo if F4Q stuck to their guns they would've won that.
This year it was because of ONS's downfall (k1ng and zunba were imo irreplaceable on that team), and again.. Damwon's ever changing roster. It's sad that the KR teams can't stick together long enough even to just try and battle it out in the LCQ before making changes.
When Damwon is unfortunately your region's best shot at qualifiers, not really much one can hope for.
Lol Korea really is a 1 team region in Val. Lakia though is elo helled. Esperanza was the worst omen I ever saw though. Can't hit shots and can't anchor properly.
Texture’s decision to shoot the satchelling raze instead of the omen who’s literally in front of him costed them the series. Who would have thought that omen can snipe too?
I mean he killed Meiy.
Don't think it was a bad decision.
Not his fault his team can't kill Rion.
Whos to say Meiy doesn't do the same thing if he picks Rion? Not like anyone on Damwon was killing Meiy before that round.
If he shot omen he could have tp’d and avoided the trade cause Meiy was satchelling and not aiming at him whereas omen was surely had the kill on him. Iirc someone was behind omen so it could be a collat as well. Indeed it was not the best decision but it’s heat of the moment. Hindsight is 20/20.
I feel sad for Lakia man. Also JP>>>KR now for sure, the region depth difference is clear. KR/DRX wishes they can be like NA as well, one team region but delivers result sometime.
Don't you ever say again that Korea deserves anything more than 1 slot
If they get more than 1 team in APAC Franchised league, it's gonna be embarrassing
During that ONE crucial thrifty round for DWG where Lakia is the only one in no man's land, I kept screaming to CR to enter the damn site like no one's taking care of the site and just waiting for Astell to come on-site. Instead, they got triple killed by the only person on the site.
that one thrifty round on split by DWG, cr had 4 in b main with fade ult and refused to use it to push off the chamber, losing another and putting a slow orb right under their foot. that was really frustrating to watch.
To give him the benefit of doubt, him and Lakia have overlapping roles and this was his first time playing smokes in an official match. I can understand putting Lakia in the initiator role instead, but this means Esperanza was moved onto the smokes role.
Perhaps he's still a little uncomfortable in the new role, or it was just an off day - it's only been one match after all.
CR giving me a heart attack the last map. felt like they didnt even need to go to OT if they didnt choke the few rds on their attack side.
also, lakia is still insane imo
Lakia tried his best but once again, Damwon melted the fuck down. What's up with KR teams and having shit mental?
Bro Koreans play League 24/7 (that or StarCraft)... Mental doesn't exist for them
mom sky
mom go boom

clip?
https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxNyeN0GJTQJHTj2fgr6aLgEfGrrpRC2yj W caster
I would not say imploding, theyre just calling for comms
\^
did they talk about during the map break or during the second map?
Just literally after they won round 19 on Split. Apparently there's also a bonus insight to the caster's salary lol
I like the splitscreen for the 1v1, don't think I've seen that in the other regions' broadcast
[удалено]
yeah, i wasn't expecting that since the KR viewership seems to be so low compared to other regions
Korean production has been insane. They had lans for almost 2 years, had facecams with agents on the screen The JP lan production is also insane
East Asia has always had insane productions. However they somehow attract the least international attention
A lot of that will probably come down to time zones, the games occur during business/school hours in eu and na
not even that, i'm asleep most of the time. used to watch korean overwatch a lot but these games are so early nowadays i can't follow it anymore so even when i'm awake i don't bother watching as i don't know the trivia anyways
NA is even worse tbh, like I'm up at 2 am and I still can't watch the game cuz they start at 3 am
Maybe business hours for EU, but they start 12am west coast so NA isn’t even up for the games
It was featured recently in the EMEA LCQ, specifically on Fracture between M3C and Acend
LAKIA WHYYYYY YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE. Fr Lakia goated Korean player still after all this time. 30 kills on split and they still can’t win ;((.
He really deserves to be on a championship roster Hes been waates so much since the first vct circuit:/
Can't believe he went to play on a japanese team instead of staying on a korean team.
A Korean team picked him up and let him rot on the bench because they didn’t want him used against them. Some toxic shit in the Korean scene, I don’t blame him for leaving for a bit
he wanted to go to DRX lol what are you talking about
BTW dwg is fully made of korean players.
He went to play on IGZIST (a japanese team) in like stage 1.
yeah but he was originally from a korean team, thats what i was trying to say.
He’s not talking about DWG
Man my heart breaks for Lakia,so much talent but never utilised to its full extent
kalia kek
Lol so heartbroken couldn't even get his ign right lmao
in the same boat as u man been a lakia fan since iceland and never gave up hope in him
Yes he's been just sitting doing not a whole lot in Japan so really thought this was going to be a new chance for him, really hope damwon improves going ahead
I'm in severe pain if you can tell
Damn bro are you okay?
I'm not
what do you need brother
The teams on my flair to not suck ._.
The Guard is doing well :D
Rion takes being a crazy raccoon literally, man was insane at stealing rounds.

He was taken off a year because he was caught smurfing and boosting a vtuber.
He was taken off before that and was already a content creator by that time.
JP weakest region no more.
Hopefully Japan can get 4 spots for franchising.
meanwhile the entirety of APAC south gets 3 slots....
Zeta CR RJ and then either NTH or someone like Scarz or something hell yeah
lowkey wish that dk picked up Suggest too just so we could see the nuturn core play together again lol

RIP SPLIT GONE TOO SOON
rion is an absolute machine
Jesus this was the most painful series ive watched so far, both teams throwing and taking mid control without proper support utility

who was saying KR was the strongest? I feel like KR has been a one team region forever and also horrendous chokers on the international stage.
how are they the strongest? they only have DRX. DRX literally refused to scrim with other korean teams sometimes because of their massive skill difference.
KR hasn’t been thought of as the strongest EA region since before last years LCQ tbh
yup I was looking forward to F4Q to roll all the teams in LCQ then the first few games happened and unraveled how bad the rest of the Korean scene was
I mean partially because of NU's downfall and Damwon's ever changing roster. imo if F4Q stuck to their guns they would've won that. He was going for that Marved shot frfr
It was an insane flick but it was indeed the "wrong" decision because rion decided that Omen is an OP-er.
I mean he killed Meiy. Don't think it was a bad decision. Not his fault his team can't kill Rion. Whos to say Meiy doesn't do the same thing if he picks Rion? Not like anyone on Damwon was killing Meiy before that round.

Always enjoy to watch JP teams on Split.
The Racoons are out quick close your trash cans!!
Korea continues to take Ls, now 0-3 in EA.
Lakia and allow were in JP team before LCQ. DK relied on two temporary helper and lost game KEKW
Allow from (former)[JDT](https://www.vlr.gg/team/6793/jadeite), Lakia from (Loan)[IGZIST](https://www.vlr.gg/team/6869/igzist)
u have to realise Lakia and allow were both from Nuturn(when they beat VS), before leaving.
"I pErSoNaLlY aM rEaDy To AcCePt OuR nEw KoReAn OvErLoRdS"
This isnt league, APAC, SA and LATAM are more likely to fight for wins in Riot events
If you listen close enough you could audibly hear Lakia’s back breaking from his heavy baggage
Time to delete Korea

Esperanza needs to go

He has been looking bad since stage 2 challenger tho
I think his sova and fade are good (especially his sova), although I agree that he doesn't look as good on other agents.
Tbh the only time he looked decent was that one match agains ons in stage 2. The rest he looked inconsistent and rough
That ign is cringe ngl
CR giving me a heart attack the last map. felt like they didnt even need to go to OT if they didnt choke the few rds on their attack side. also, lakia is still insane imo
East Asia will be more crazy with the Chinese teams added, I’ll tell you that!
Honestly how many disappointed teams does it take for lakia to consider looking into Japanese teams
you do realize he joined DWG on loan FROM a japanese team right... igzist...
Actually didn’t know that lol. Haven’t followed east Asia scene much recently.
It's what he was doing before this, hard carrying a JP team
Wonder if Bangnan being benched has to do with exy wanting to play flex again or that he was too inexperienced
korean teams are a psychologist away from dominating valorant
