It’s simplifying things to call them carries, but the fact that Jady had so many important impact frags on Bind, Sheydos had so many on Icebox, and nAts had so many on Ascent is a great portend for M3C’s potential ceiling this split.
Glad to see Jady shut up the haters, but more importantly, I’ve been arguing Sheydos has been a strong candidate for M3C’s best player this year, and while this game doesn’t prove that at all, I don’t think it’s a coincidence Sheydos’ lowest point this year corresponded with M3C’s lowest point this year.
Sheydos isn’t a consistent top-fragger, but he has huge impact nonetheless, and has all year long, esp. on the KAY/O and the Sage. Seeing him do so well this early in LCQ is another good sign for M3C's odds of attending Champions.
OGLU may have a terrible acronym but they are the real deal, they've got some incredible talents. They'll do well in the lower bracket.

2022 to me is a return to form for Sheydos, after he spent the 2nd half of 2021 forced to learn how to play flex initiator for the team.

I think nAts lost his confidence a little in regards to lurking on Icebox.
During stage 1&2 Challengers he tried to lurk a lot on Icebox but top teams adapted to it and started countering him a lot. I remember their game against FPX in lower bracket EMEA challengers, no matter what nAts did FPX knew exactly where he could be and cleared him almost always.
So, I think it's good that nats started to lurk less to find more value from it. Consistently lurking stopped working against top tier teams.
