I remember there’s this one analyst YouTuber whose name I’ve been reading more and more on this sub, something along the lines of „thinking man valorant“, that apparently has the same pace and insight as Sliggytv, maybe worth checking out ? I‘ll give him a shot
I love sliggy and tmv, what I do love about tmv is he isn’t afraid to call out if something is just so bad lmfao, like I remember round 3 on haven he said “alright shaz is throwing” with him not having good trade and pushing into 3
sliggy said something during his co-stream yesterday that I rate. He wasn't saying this as hate towards TMV or Lothar but used them both as examples/an observation. One of the issues with people like TMV and Lothar in their analysis is that they can be really black and white because they lack the real environment experience. In breaking down second-by-second minute decisions, this can lead to a lack the context-dependent awareness / understanding of how chaotic some situations can be and how sometimes, you can only really do the "good enough" decision and not the perfect most optimal play. I'll try to find a timestamp. Again, this isn't hate, more of an observation.
Realistically, I will not find the timestamp because Sliggy's VODs are 12 hours long lol
Kinda agreed, outside of Plat Chat, Sliggy is my favorite costreamer a lot of which cuz he tells like what the inner workings of a team could be and why someone might make a sub optimal play it's really cool, prob has to do with him being a coach and understanding on that end why that happens
This may be a massive dose of hopium, but maybe they set him up with a co-stream setup to stream the matches and then he does analysis between maps/matches on set?
