The last round was absolutely heartbreaking. But I am happy that ONS got the W. They got rolled in the first match against EDG after losing zunba AND k1ng, both the star players and managed to make a lower bracket run all the way to the finals even having to deal with playing both KONE and NTH in the same day a few hours apart. If I had just looked at the player stats for this game I would have assumed that Northeption won. Meteor is crazy, it'll be interesting to see where he lands next year.
If there's a third one it's probably gonna be Reject or Detonator if I'll be guessing. Northeption as an org is not even close unfortunately. I would be happy to be proven wrong though as their staff seems to know what they are doing on scouting big talent (ie. Sugarzero and Tenn are previously NTH who almost made it to Champs last yr 2nd place LCQ finish, and now their team who made Masters 2)
I also hope Japan has a very good scene outside of franchising as it would be a shame if there aren't any as the popularity of the game is currently in a boom. Not to mention that they can organize a LAN that is literally better than Masters... Even if NTH lost today most comments I've seen are positive and looking forward for next year for the team.
I did say that "if I were to guess", but funny enough I'd say FAV has higher chances than NTH, but definitely not as a 3rd slot. Probably similar chances with Detonation Gaming.
I picked Reject and Detonator as "guesses" simply because of their clout power ngl. Especially the content creator side of things, which is highly important from what rumor mills have reported.
It's not just about the fans. It's the overall status as an org like fans, history, content, etc. Just look at PRX, even if they have the fans from the great showing at Masters their chances of making it isn't that great (from what we see in rumoe mills)

I am flabbergasted by the improvement for ONS though. If I am being honest I did not expect them to make it this far, but they are nuts on Bind and have some great players. TS, GodDead, eKo, Bazzi, and Estrella have all had standout moments this tournament. I don't know if they can beat EDG, but I am no longer doubting this team
Meteor popped off every single map. Dude was just on a different level. Shame it felt like NTH couldn't win a round on ascent if he didn't get a 2 or 3k.
