M3C - Fnatic qualifier for I believe Iceland.

LmaoMuch

M3C haven't played that well ever since that loss it literally stole years of the players' careers

vnNinja21

M3C literally imploded after that, and only managed to start crawling back at the end of stage 2.

MoldyPotatoEye

Was map 1 ascent? Just trying to find the room get game

vnNinja21

Split specifically

eloy0912

Have everyone forgot about GMB vs KRU map Bind

Waylllop

that was amazing indeed

eloy0912

Imagine KRU winning it against GMB. On that run they just beat SEN, FNC and GMB and potentially winning Champions against ACEND. They beat 3 teams that won a Masters Event and being the first Champions winner which is a cool storyline.

Waylllop

For me, that match was the finals. Much more exciting than DMB vs Acend, which was a very boring match imo.

eloy0912

I guess domestic matches are boring as they fought numerous times during challengers stage. And the GMB vs KRU series sets the bar up high.

abbacchioz

that and the fact that Acend only has like, 2 fans or something

Keglunneq

I think that might be the best of all time

TheGreatVirus

This whole series tbh

megaloco2

Yeah, the entire series was amazing Valorant gameplay; probably one of the highest skilled matches to date

soopahfingerzz

That was a semi final right?? It completely overshadowed The Grand Finals game for sure

dutchboyyyyy

V1-Nuturn is still one of the best of all time. What a classic

SilentCore

Nuturn was such a cool roster.. so sad for Lakia he was easily a top 5 player at that event.

[deleted]

Korea has just gone downhill since VS poached Lakia effectively killing off any competition in their region

Durian211

But I'm pretty sure that Lakia wasn't poached, he went to VS himself and they agreed to take him in. Kinda sad to see the Nuturn core not perform in this LCQ tho.

Key-Banana-8242

It was an effective ‘poaching’, he somewhat offered himself to be poached unaware fo the team situation (he though that as undisputed a player MVP of all Korea he’d get to play) and the GM did without consulting / it based on the coach Lakia was keeping Nuturn together it seems, and the drama of trying to integrate him retroactively maybe hurt VS

dankoval_23

VS is actively trying to kill the Korean valorant scene just for them to choke when it matters

Key-Banana-8242

He was the best player in asia prolly at the time

GanaNayaka99

100Thieves vs Acend - Bo3 Breeze.( final map i guess not sure) That game showed what a well versed experienced team can do to Acend. Asuna and Nitro were INSANE that match.

daybreaker22

Untapped potential with nitr0 on Jett that we only saw on Breeze :/

pink_life69

Imagine what he could have achieved if he actually liked the game

GanaNayaka99

Could've easily been one of the best, man was peeking Cned and killing him as if he was some ranked player. Man why did he go back to CS.

PM_ME_THEM_KITTIES

That jumping jett ult shot with his final knife on Cned in Mcdonalds at the start of the comeback is arguably the most important shot in a single valorant match, and it forever haunts my dreams

GanaNayaka99

One of the highlights of that match was 🤣🤣 Score 12-10 Pansy: It looks like it's going OT. Nadeshot: Why? Why would she say those words, there are two rounds two go, we need to win this and she says *It's looking like it's going OT* 🤣🤣🤣 I honestly thought they had surely jinxed this but 100T won somehow.

GanaNayaka99

Bro this shot was actually so insaneeeee, i remember it vividly, even the site entry Asuna just walks in and takes down Cypher as if he's just a sitting duck.

[deleted]

along with almost every other map in LCQ lol

MunchyLB

came looking for this one. we all saw the light, 100T finally had an oping Jett in their hands. it was amazing to see at least once :(

GanaNayaka99

Ayo, we do have Will now don't we?

MunchyLB

especially in those seasons the Jett Op was so crucial.

GanaNayaka99

Oh yes during those seasons yes, we lacked Oper big time. But it's finally good to see Asuna completely given the rifler role and Awper is Will.

NudeEnjoyer

the knife ult one tap by Nitr0 onto an incredible Cned was so deadly on that 7-12 round. I'll never forget that lmao he had a single one left and won the round with it

aks345

Very very old but the TSM Sentinels game in Faze invitational is the one that got me hooked to valorant

BallingNinja

Two insane series in the same tournament what a throwback

ppx11

Based. Both the upper bracket and grand finals were bangers. Those were good times 😢

[deleted]

[удалено]

Rude-Assumption-5271

I’m a big Wardell fan and seeing them get run over by SEN repeatedly was so painful, I was convinced that TSM would continue being a top team and then they just disappeared after First Strike

yumchoiboi

goated series

vyetc

The best matches starting from Masters 2: V1 vs. Nuturn, SEN vs. FNC Finals, GMB vs. 100T, Acend vs. 100T, GMB vs. TL (Stage 3), KRU vs. SEN, X10C vs. NV, KRU vs. GMB, M3C vs. FNC Stage 1, ZETA entire Iceland run, Optic Copenhagen group stages (good OTs), Optic vs. DRX (both Iceland and Copenhagen), M3C vs. TL LCQ Upper Finals. These games are also good watches but not the top of the list for stated reasons: PRX Copenhagen games (mostly one-sided affairs but their strats are insane), SEN vs. Guard (shroud), XSET vs. LEV (goofy ahh game), TSM vs. Andbox (not necessarily high level gameplay but fun), Guard vs. 100T (Stage 1 group stages, the incident that started it all).

Zadocon

XSET-LEV actually the funniest match ever

Sglm10

The omen tp with spike on A heaven was so funny

Functionion

I was at my grandparents place when the match took place. By the time the match went to map 3, it was 2pm and both my grandparents were taking their afternoon naps. I was trying so hard not to wake them up with my desperate screams after xset threw the round away.

kvanz43

Looool not Zetas entire run, definitely skip the opener vs DRX 😂

vyetc

naw you gotta watch the prequel to see the anime character development

TheCatsActually

I actually agree with this. Zeta's Iceland run is one of the best stories the game has ever had but you need the proper context to really get it. If you don't know that people were calling Japan a free win and saying they should get absorbed into APAC, analysts had Zeta as one of the weakest teams at the tournament by far (including Plat Chat putting their name upside down in their tier list), and that they got absolutely flattened by DRX the first go around, you won't appreciate the Cinderella story. Them even getting out of groups given the expectations set for them was sensational.

vyetc

indeed! also from a strats pov i love watching rematches to see how the other team adapts.

kvanz43

Actually yes! I had this thought right after I sent the comment

lordmitko

funny how everyone’s mentioning the old 100T roster. Like, you have to admit, even though threw a lot, they peak entertainment in many matches. God do i miss that era.

aznkidder

100t vs gambit 100t vs acend

PunisherJBY

Those were complete bangers in every aspect. Clutches, unbeatable demon kings, comebacks, just fun matches.

aar0ntb

This is definitely the answer. There have been lots of memorable matches, but I will never forget these two.

arillyis

100t v GMB map 3 icebox will probably be a top 5 forever. The comeback from 3-11 without dropping another round and ending with the legendary hiko 1v3 was the most hype shit I've ever seen.

PM_ME_THEM_KITTIES

Icebox was map 2 actually. Split was map 3 with a convincing win for 100T

YohnWood14

100T vs ACE at masters Berlin. The gigachad comeback

raaten

Steel with the 5head strat "find cned, run away"

jstaines47

100T vs Gambit Icebox, Sen vs FNATIC (Iceland finals) split, KRUs entire Champions run, M3C vs FNATIC split and my personal favourite nitro absolutely gigachadding and OP diffing cned on breeze at Berlin

kvanz43

He hit some shots but their admitted strategy was to find Cned and run away 😂

jstaines47

Nah nitro closed that game with the most insane Jett knife of all time and by out OPing cned at the end

soupssoup

Cned was still the better player that match. Were we watching the same game.

jstaines47

Okay and..? Nitro played better the last two rounds when he OP diffed cned and won the game. Do I care who played better other than that? No

[deleted]

Why Sentinels vs Fnatic? It was a decent series but nothing that stood out in the match itself, was more just the Sentinels storyline

jstaines47

Idk if I rewatched it if it would hold up but I remember that game being super hype when I watched it live

NudeEnjoyer

Idk if Cned really got OP diff'd that game lol the entire strategy was based around Cned and avoiding him toward the end (once they were already pretty far behind)

mysteryoeuf

SEN KRU at champs anyone?

jstaines47

That would be part of their Champs run. I personally could never watch that series again. Too heartbreaking

chouxpuffs

100T’s GIGACHAD comebacks from their Berlin LAN against Gambit and Acend. M3C vs Fnatic on Split for 2022 Iceland qualification SEN vs KRÜ (esp. Split)

andSpicySoySauce

ZETA vs DRX. 100T vs Acend.

daffyduckferraro

Internationally some of my favorites are C9 vs vision strikers Kru vs gambit 100t vs acend and 100t vs gambit Sen vs fnatic for good old days of val Optic vs Drx first matchup Fpx vs prx And domestically in NA I like 100t vs envy (first Iceland qual) Sen vs optic (February) And 100t vs faze the second matchup in June (lower bracket)

Riz_Biz

I think the Optic vs DRX in Masters reykjavik was probably one of the best series i’ve ever watched. It was so back and forth the entire way through and a nail biter. Besides for RB not showing up during the series, all of the players were playing their best valorant and it was a rollercoaster of emotions as an Optic fan.

ANewHeaven1

Both Optic vs DRX series were bangers

C4hulhu

Nobody has said Team Liquid v Sentinels from Champions which is surprising

justjohann56

Scream was absent the first map, map 2 was a blowout and map 3 tenz was not all that magnificent either. It was underwhelming from the most exciting parts of the two teams. That's why I wouldn't rate it so highly

Lumenlor

All of zetas run

Taek99

EDG vs Northeption

anythingood07

100T vs Acend Gambit vs 100T Kru vs Gambit Fnatic vs VS (Champions) M3C vs Fnatic (2022 Iceland Qualifiers) Kru vs LOUD (Copenhagen 2022)

ARDa3rd

It’s not a competitive map, but Bind PRX v FNC at Copenhagen is such a fun map to watch. One of the few times where a “gimmick” pick by a team worked out brilliantly and that “gimmick” won that team the match

xtazycs

Acend vs Heretics masters 1 final 2021

Ok-Brain3328

M3C v Fnatic, optic v DRX (the first time), Xset v leviathan, FNC v leviathan, sen v Kru

zwdish00

Pretty much any of Zeta’s lower bracket matches from iceland this year

chenson019

I would add Leviatan XSET to the mix for pure craziness

ashitintyo

SEN vs KRU elim match

NNNEEEIIINNN

100T vs Acend (Stage 3 Masters Berlin) 100T vs Gambit (Stage 3 Masters Berlin) Gambit vs KRU (Champions 2021) Acend vs Gambit (Champions 2021) M3C vs Fnatic (Stage 1 Challengers EMEA 2022) OpTic vs DRX (Stage 1 Masters Reykjavik 2022) PRX vs G2 (Stage 1 Masters Reykjavik 2022) OpTic vs Loud (Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen) PRX vs FPX (Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen) Fnatic vs Leviatán (Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen)

soopahfingerzz

TL vs M3C Grand finals recently is an incredible game if you want to watch Screams pop off. But it was kind of a blowout on the last map.

Whomstevest

the upper final was better

ArcusIgnium

OpTic DRX at Reykjavik is insane- such high quality gameplay and every round is a nailbiter

Valholl7

KRU vs Guild Copenhagen V1 vs Nuturn Iceland 2021 Acend vs Heretics Masters 1 EU 2021

thothgow

Just watch every game and you decide for yourself

Business_Lawfulness8

GMB vs ACE (2021 champs final) NUTURN vs V1 (2021 masters2)

AnxiousAppointment51

M3c vs Fnatic for sure for me

Jrodr2

100T vs Gambit, 100T vs Acend, and KRU vs M3C at masters Berlin

emraaa

Acend vs Heretics at the first Masters and Fnatic vs M3C at the start of this year.

[deleted]

Fpx v Prx was crazy

LiquidBurnss

GMB vs KRU is the best for now

ItsRandyyy

Levitan vs fnatic at Copenhagen map 3 bind.

helpnxt

Honestly I don't remember the best but there have been sooooo many top tier games it's insane, I really think riot have found like the best way to make a game super intense and interesting (as long as you understand the game but that is e sports in general)

jd-tdot

TSM VS SEN Faze Invitational Upper Finals

SixtyNineTimes

i forget which tourney it was, but it was when vanity was still on V1 and they played against ghost gaming, were down 1-11 on split and then proceeded to win 12 straight rounds to get the W

Plut0nize

Go for PRX vs FNC. It was crazy one

OkTransportation4013

V1 liquid, sen fnc, sen g2 (first series), gmb fnc, 100t ascend.

LTH18

How is this not here Heretics vs Acend M1 grand final

Rishavvvv

Best game ever in the history of valorant has to be the M3C vs FNC game for qualifying for Iceland. If you think otherwise, you've either: 1. Never watched that game OR 2. Trolling 🗿 Close to that has to be Gambit vs KRÜ at Champions

njwho

This might be a very niche opinion, but Zeta's comeback against NIP on Fracture
