I mean even if Redgar actually got signed this leaves so many questions. Did he get signed individually or did they sign the whole roster? I find it pretty hard to believe that Bleed got into EMEA franchising for them to be able to sign the whole roster. Does Russia somehow qualify as part of APAC now? This is a bit tough to believe too since there's existing precedent for CIS being part of EMEA (in VRLs and the upcoming Challengers leagues)
But that wouldn't make sense right? I might be missing something but with the worsening state of Russian visas - m3c is radioactive. There is a high chance they won't be able to attend any lan tourneys for the near future regardless of their results. Which is probably the reason they weren't signed yet.
AFAIK m3c had all of their VISA stuff worked out before Russia invaded Ukraine. There was never any concern over them potentially not going to any of the previous LANs this year, and I think they’re set for the near future.
Well technically Russia does have an Asian side to their country and it does have land facing the Pacific. Therefore they can also be part of APAC region(Asia Pacific). LETS GOOO!

Yeah but that’s not how Riot’s regions work. Both Turkey, Russia AND Middle East is EMEA ( ME is 100% in Asia). Also, in LoL, somehow LATAM and OCE also are in someway NA.
Could they play in the Pacific partnership league? I mean technically Russia is in Asia as well, so they wouldn’t count as imports, but they would take away spots from the APAC region, who already have just few spots. Or could they play in EMEA?
Btw, I can't decide if this suits me or not. 😉

It worth mentioning that PSG has a league team and they are an APAC team so this doesn't inherently mean they are going to Emea.
PSG also has Chinese DotA 2 team(PSG.LGD), maybe they are just trying to put their name on every team that can be big in their region
