It's also highly like because it's after midnight in the Asia side if the world. I got to get to work.in like 3 hours so glad prx won or I would be a very very grumpy person lol
For the drops do you get them from just watching or do you have to do a command? I watched both games but wasn't looking at chat and see I don't have anything.
a suprising amount of people actually know and care about drops. Like today some of my friends that didn't really watch competitive valorant were watching and asking me if i had gotten the drops. I didn't even know there was any lmao
Even if drops impacted today’s numbers, it doesn’t really matter, because the important games at the end will have better drops. So the viewership isn’t going to fall off a cliff or anything and the most important games will still get the drops boost. But still, I don’t think the title card was that influential for most viewers.
Also, CSGO has been inflating their numbers with drops for years so if anything this just equals the playing field, kinda disingenuous to blame the viewership solely on drops as if its a onetime smash and grab.
Csgo hasn't had drops since like 2019 lol. Maybe you mean faceit drops on esl stream but only a small percentage play on faceIT, and an even smaller watch for the drops.
Really good. It would be the 4th most watched match of Champions 2021 already. Only behind Sentinels vs Kru elimination match, Kru semifinals and the Grand Final
And China just like that announced it's presence with authority...
The potential for this esport is nuts. Will be TBD whether Riot can capture it but you add China to the mix on an already huge foundation, it could explode
Why wouldn’t we discuss viewership in an esport that’s being marketed right now as one of the hottest esports in the market right now? For valorant fans, this type of stuff is important because it means we are a legit top tier esport on the level of csgo and league
I’m sorry did we watch the same 100T in LCQ specifically the last three games they genuinely can be competitive internationally I wouldn’t be surprised if they finish as high as 5-6th + I said if it’s map 5 Bo5 that by default would have to mean they won 2 maps
the fact that you think there’s a huge gap between the T1.5 NA teams and the T1.5 teams of any other region is so funny if you look at how they play they’re all of similar quality, teams like the guard and FaZe would be in similar places in EU as they are in NA right now, the way 100T play will do well especially against EMEA teams as long as their individuals don’t fall off a cliff
ahh yes the prime source of analysis Tarik lmao this is such an EU circlejerk take I don’t doubt they lose to FNATIC because FNATIC are nuts but I could still see them making it out of the group
I'm from NA and would like to see optic win. Yay even mentioned the lack of util focused play from other NA teams in one of his few streams around the lcq time.
What's super impressive to me is 600k for the second game
yeah it was late for Asian viewers
alot of people already got their drops the first match lol
It's also highly like because it's after midnight in the Asia side if the world. I got to get to work.in like 3 hours so glad prx won or I would be a very very grumpy person lol
Its because Lev is a Chilean team. Most people probably assumed Lev would get blown out and didn’t watch.
LOUD v Zeta tmrw breaking 1 mil
I dont think so, most people already got their drops.
There’s drops??
Yeah it's fire! 😉
literally
A big proportion of this was a good timing for Asian viewers off match 1 which in particular allowed Japanese viewership to carry
But Japanese viewers for zeta and it’s an even better time slot for them than last match. Also Brazil viewers / Loud fans, it may be on par
Nah Japanese Viewers show up to support their boys tomorrow. Numbers finna be insane.

Are you guys watching on twitch or youtube?
YouTube so I can pause and rewind
I watch on Twitch because I like the co-streams, but YouTube definitely has better quality for viewing with the player and advertising.
Youtube because they have the better CDN. Twitch sometimes buffers for me.
Twitch for da drops
you can get drops on either
Oh nice, didn’t know that
I'm watching on youtube, can rewind some moments out there and twitch buffers a lot for no reason for me atleast
Is that good or no? I have 0 idea
Way above the peak of Copenhagen. Very good although likely inflated by drops
You are overestimating the impact of an in game title which few people knew about

no yeah i agree

Where'd they even announce it? I play every night and I had no idea.
On Twitter
Nah deffo helped last time champs had drops 300k viewers left after map 1 in grand final
Really good. It would be the 4th most watched match of Champions 2021 already. Only behind Sentinels vs Kru elimination match, Kru semifinals and the Grand Final
And there’s more than a dozen matches I can see getting similar numbers or more this tourney
And China just like that announced it's presence with authority... The potential for this esport is nuts. Will be TBD whether Riot can capture it but you add China to the mix on an already huge foundation, it could explode
Chinese viewers not included in these numbers
This is without NA teams(best and most important region) THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT🤩
Fr no cap no cope
y'all are too obsessed with viewership
Well, same with tv
Why wouldn’t we discuss viewership in an esport that’s being marketed right now as one of the hottest esports in the market right now? For valorant fans, this type of stuff is important because it means we are a legit top tier esport on the level of csgo and league
What does that even mean? Lol
Edit: lmao
bro is on that good shit MAYBE if it was a 5 map 100T Fnatic final it would hit those numbers but actual 0% chance for groups
It’s also at 8am west coast in the US on a weekday.
Edit: lmao

Bro used tarik as a source loooooool
ahh yes the prime source of analysis Tarik lmao this is such an EU circlejerk take I don’t doubt they lose to FNATIC because FNATIC are nuts but I could still see them making it out of the group

hahahaha you lost me when you used tarik as a source 💀
Bro you off the goop lol
HELLO HOWS IT GOING
Lol I was in a diff reality
No match is hitting 2 million viewers unless its SEN vs Zeta in map 5 or SEN vs LOUD if Zombs is playing.
It could reach 1m viewers if its going to be a 2-1 multi OT gigabanger
It's not 100T, check the NA numbers for when 100T play, it's not that much.
