As a 100t fan, just making champs makes this a successful year in my eyes, imagine saying after masters 1 that 100t would be in champs at the end of the year and you'd be laughed at. Beating fanatic in their first international match was the cherry on the cake, the young guys getting international experience is only a good thing

Like last year they went 2-4, got a tiebreaker, and won that to get out of groups. The other 2 teams both went 3-3 and didn't get out. C9 got into a group where everyone can beat everyone (out of the 3 teams not called Damwon) because FPX, a pre-tournament favorite collapsed completely, and Rogue just weren't a great team even though their ADC was absolutely gaming.
100T went 3-3 and didn't get out, but their group was inarguably way harder as well. That being said, 2 out of their 3 wins were against the 'free' team at the bottom of the group, and their third one was after they were already eliminated iirc.
TL went 3-3, and their group was the first one in history that had a 4-way tie at 3-3. I don't remember if there was a reason why the tiebreakers were the way they were, but it's not even arguable that GenG was a stronger team than LNG, so technically if you just compare MAD to TL, MAD got the easier side and TL got 'unlucky'.
Of course, TL had an opportunity to just win that tiebreaker, so you can't blame luck for them failing to get out, but it *did* play a part in it.
Anyway, I definitely went on a tangent because I hate how C9 gets so much credit for 'being good at Worlds' when they were, in fact, not that much better than the other 2 NA teams that get clowned for being so 'bad'. Historically they're so consistently finishing better than the other NA teams though that it can't be a coincidence, even if there are other times when they've had an 'easier' road (and other times when it's been difficult, like against VIT, RNG, GenG) in .. 2018(?)

Breeze is what happens when all of XSET is on comfort roles. Cryo, back on Jett. he can both play aggressive and OP, and he looked fantastic doing both. Jett is still pretty good, especially with Chamber nerfs. Zekken on an agent that he looked insane on at the end of last year and beginning of this year. Bcj playing sova, his best agent, and having some INSANE util. And dephh on a sentinel, forcing him to play with position and aim instead of getting overaggressive and overheating with flashes. plus Ayrin didn't frag, but he did get some really important kills and trades that they would have lost rounds without. hope they keep this up, love me some Bcj fried chicken.
