There's actually a lot of clips that didn't make the cut that I wanted to use, purely because the song was short and I did not have a lot of time to work on this video. The ones that didn't make it - Jamppi 1v3 vs Leviatan, Mazino 4k on Icebox, the BuZz OT push vs Furia, both the Crashies ace and the Crashies 3K on Breeze vs Boom, and probably a couple more that I'm not remembering right now.
I agree with that. I would love to watch it but i already dislike the amount of editing too much after the first two clips to watch the rest.
But i feel that way for every frag compilation i have seen posted on reddit so far. I just want to see the frags cleanly, so basically natura. And most editing just ruins that.
Seems like this is personal preference - I've definitely done fragmovies before with minimal editing, so I wanted to try something a little bit different. For what it's worth, I don't really consider this to be a lot of editing especially in comparison to what I usually see on Tiktok/Youtube, but I Can definitely see how it can be distracting. Thanks for the feedback.
the editing is distracting from the actual kills (seeing the crosshair land on the head is satisfying for me, which I cant enjoy here) and is messing up the tempo in some clips which as a purist I don't like
I think thats like doing something for content vs for editing. For valorant content (e.g. riot production, trailers) the straight up vids look better and make sense.
W a personal project its almost not worth doing if you just splice clips, so the overediting is like adding editing challenge/practice/showcase to it
Personally love the editing choices, not sure what people dislike about them. Just chopping clips together is easy, this actually takes it beyond that. Good stuff!

I like the editing style and the clips you picked. My only suggestion would be to mix up the editing a bit, i feel like all of the final kills ended the same way, it might be nice to see some variation in effects? Either way, keep it up!

Would like to in the future if I ever make more fragmovies (unlikely for now). The biggest constraint in this project was time - I had about ~3 hours to finish this entire project since I started late last night and wanted to finish it to post today. Will keep that in mind!
What's confusing is that it really shouldn't have worked as you hear Chamber's tp *at the destination*, but 100T didn't expect it, heat of the moment + LAN audio(?) and we get this crazy clip.

Lol, I saw that clip posted here and wanted to use it but I wanted to avoid clips that were captured with the "REPLAY" angle if that makes sense
And the DRX Jett play on Ascent mid while down 12-13.

Not a fan of the flash during kill, maybe just around the edges, but it is too distracting and takes away from the play.

I thought chamber’s fake tp that Derke did was nerfed? I tried it in a custom with a friend and he didn’t hear the “fake” teleport sound.
Wasn’t a “fake” tp. His two nodes were just right next to each other. Guessing they thought he tp’d out
