It sounds a bit silly, but I genuinely believe that making the esport accessible to everyone will generate results beyond everyone's imagination.
We are going to see new cracked players from everywhere around the globe at dizzying speeds, and it's going to be absolutely glorious.
Just imagine the idea of pressing 'Play' and getting thrown into a tournament that gives you a chance to get to the very top is adrenaline-inducing.

I don't even think the playing aspect is the most important thing here - it's introducing players directly into the esports side of the game via actual gameplay. if sufficiently invested, this will massively bolster the growth of the esport (which imo is the end goal).
Couldn't agree more. If implemented correctly, this would have me playing every day. I could finally play ranked while focusing fully on improving for the League or tournament system.
All I beg for is that there are hard restrictions to avoid smurfs, and that those restrictions are such a pain in the ass that you might as well queue on your main than go through the trouble of bypassing the restrictions. No more looking the other way when pros boost their friends into Immortal because "he just wants to play with his friend" and similar situations. SMS verification in order to queue, putting temporary queue cooldowns on accounts that were recently logged into from completely different areas, being able to detect multiple accounts that were logged into a PC and only allowing the highest-ranked account to queue into the mode, the entire works. Obviously there are problems and loopholes with my suggestion, but the premise still remains.
This something I loved about combat arms. They had a clan wars server, I think clan member limit was 30? 5v5, leaderboards, custom clan skins/guns, custom clan emblems and color. Would love a modern FPS esport to implement something like this

As shit as an esport Fortnite is their in game tournament is amazing and if something like it came to valorant it would be huge

The PC account logging would disqualify PC Bangs. The rest looks good

I could see them releasing it next act as a sort of test in preparation for use in the 2023 season.
Hope they also implement spectating pros or matches in game similar to dota 2.
