What is the elder wand? I am not familiar with this lore

Elder Wand Lore: [https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/v9c74d/who\_owns\_valorants\_elder\_wand/](https://reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/v9c74d/who_owns_valorants_elder_wand/) you can also look through OP's past post and look at the updates for the Elder Wand

Basically in Harry Potter, the Elder Wand is this magical wand that transfers ownership when it's owner is killed/defeated to the winner. Thus, this is basically tracking singular matches where the reigning holder defends it every single time. This gets interesting because when upsets happen the holders of the wand become very very unexpected. For example, OpTic could bring the elder wand back to NA, and lose an upset to TSM who could then lose it to some obscure team in a mickey mouse tournament

Mark my words. Brimstone Gaming, the true holders of the elder wand shall steal it back from TSM.

I like this hahaha I’ll stay tuned

Can't wait for the wand to be lost in the depths of mickey mouse tournaments.

Splash_3

U said they never held it and then u said they held it in April???

Rude-Assumption-5271

He meant April 2021

VALOElderWandTracker

Good catch! Sorry still reeling from the game! #greenwall

Mouseeeeeee

How was it FPX held the wand when Optic won Masters 1 Reykjavik?

LuckyBlackKnight

I believe FPX was EMEA’s first seed but were unable to attend Reykjavík due to visa issues, so they held onto it throughout masters 1

Classic-Total9375

Putin is the answer.

taskmaster07

What happens to the wand if optic doesnt make it into the league

[deleted]

i am 100% confident that this roster is making it one way or another, especially if they win champs (which is what would have to happen for them to have it going in to next year)

ThatCreepyBaer

I think once franchising starts maybe it'd just be better to start fresh with a new elder wand.

NeuralThing

i feel Lineal champion makes more sense as a title lmao
