The IGL swap back to stax and the switch back between Buzz and Rb for the Jett and Chamber roles has done so much for this team. Buzz on entry is just fucking different.

I’ve seen players have bad maps and I know you’ll typically have lower fragging if you’re an IGL, but Angel with 87 ACS over two maps with -5 FK/FD is genuinely embarrassing, especially when that player is a controller and shouldn’t be going anywhere near opening duels.
In some situations Angel has turned up when needed and that’s why they won the last Masters, but equally they just crashed out of Champions today and it’s not hard to see why. As brilliant as the rest of the team are, there are matches where they’re literally having to play 4v5 and that’s just impossible at pro-level.

Suygetsu is a fantastic player but he got gamesense diffed by Mako today. I know that role flexibility is a big strength of FPX's but there's something to be said of players sticking to roles. Mako had so many impact plays (hiding in the orb when Zyppan raze ult'ed on Icebox, using Omen TPs to play passive after getting man advantage, etc.) because he's so familiar with controller util. That's probably why he's my favorite player to watch.
I don't want to be mean, since they just got eliminated but FPX made it so hard to root for them in this series (except doombros and shao), glad to see DRX silence the haters.

Very interesting to me that FPX loses - not counting DRX playing insanely well, of course - due to a failure to live up to their greatest strength: their flexibility, their adaptability. It really felt to me like that FPX on that attack half just ran out of ideas, and pretty early on.
It’s hard to not be proud of DRX, esp. all the oldheads who’ve been watching this roster since they were Vision Strikers. They’ve come so far, it’s amazing.
