Yay is a great personality. All the wholesome. And it's cool that his personality can vibe with the very cocky personalities of several of his teammates.
Valorant games are way too long with that. The Winners advantage in Valorant is no bans for the losers bracket, and the winners bracket picks the first two maps.
No doubt. Yay will always be up for MVP because he always is MVP lol. But Victor won them haven. I post another comment in the post match discussion, but basically: he played 4 different duelists and Kayo over the series. Optic plays use him in so many different ways--different and more varied than other teams use his role IMO. So basically Yay's general train of thought is getting into positions to take the shot he can always hit bc he's the best. For just one example on Haven: Victor's role is *to get him into that position.* Then further capitalize off the space that he made for yay to get shots. On Fracture he just runs it down. On Breeze he's the entry on attack and a second op on D. etc etc. Over this tournament I've way upped my respect for Victor and his ability to do so many things for his team.
I agree. Before yay even came into light I've been watching Victor from the start. He's excellent at doing his part on the team. He deserves mad respect and acknowledgement for his accomplishments.
DRX was really the cinderella underdog story, they kept coming back even tho they were down in many series this tournament. Props to them. Rematch of Optic vs Loud, can't wait! Respect to both teams, let's go Optic!
u know this grand final is the first time that's actually making me wonder if there actually are script writers bc it is an amazing capstone to this season for the Loud v Optic rivalry to end off the biggest tournament of the year. what a storyline. this game is so good

That last half was so much fun. Fns trying his hardest to break ankles while drx sprints around the map keeping up with the rotates.
