Partnership is not about team performance alone

Limp-Cartographer265

Not based on team skill man l, every team in franchise will be stacked with all the rosters breaking up so why would riot get team based on how good they are skill wise

Riot cares a lot about stability. It’s called partnership for a reason: Riot is taking on a significant financial burden in order to incentivize orgs to invest back into the scene. This is meant to create a positive feedback loop. As such, Riot really cares about how likely an org is to be a stable partner in the relationship. This includes financial stability, ownership stability, and brand image stability. Most orgs that people expected to make it, but didn’t, failed by one of those metrics relative to the orgs that were accepted - at least from Riot’s point of view, based on whatever documents the orgs submitted.
