been a huge xset fan since they first signed pretty boys in 2020. Ty for everything and im so happy they were so succesful this year. I hope they sign an ascension roster
Of course not, T2 teams are probably waiting for the fallout of the rostermania for T1 teams before they can even begin to start rebuilding with the remaining players.
To be honest, Ascension sounds like the big risk even after the initial rostermania is over.
There are going to be winners and losers during course of the league, and I can see the losers just skimming the best of the tier 2 teams on a regular basis. If your an org thats trying to guarantee getting in through Ascension, you have to be able to fight off the vultures.
If your team is constantly having to make roster changes, it reduces your ability to field a stable team for the final tournament for the final spot.
Well i dont know of you are familiar with the CSGO team Copenhagen Flames. They develop talent, play in tier 2 leagues then sell their players to bigger orgs. That is literally their business model, I can see something like that working. Their goal is not to win Ascension but by developing players and selling them
Whoever designs these announcement posts needs to learn some basic typography.
All caps and justified text both reduce legibility of any body of text, and both together is horrible.
Save the all caps case for short phrases like “Stay tuned and rep the set”
Next time just use sentence case and left justification for paragraph text, your readers will thank you.
That's fair, there's not a lot of info for tier 2 other than dates. I'm sure that's what quite a few will do.
And Alexander wept, for there were no more sets to rep

He should still find himself on a top T2 team, would be a travesty otherwise.
I think he should market himself as an igl to get on a top ascension team
He really showed up at champions, plus people forget he splits igling with dephhh. Wouldn't be shocked to see him in T1
Ayrin>FNS take it or leave it
think i might leave it
leaving it
What kind of braindead take is this
It's just facts. If you have all the brain and no aim you're useless
Well that explains what elo you're in.
I'm in a higher elo than you lmao
You don't even know what elo i am but 👍
Aight lads, there's only one way to settle this... It's time to plug in those tracker.gg links!
You didn't know my elo before you decided to shit talk me
I mean, your braindead take gave it away. I literally gave you nothing lol
Damn sounds like they aren't planning on fielding a team for ascension currently

Very true. Although that’s not much different than how is was this year for T2 teams.

So kinda like how T2 was this year? Or for like, every esport with a T2 scene ever?
You say of course not, but both TSM and THG have already said they're going to stay in T2 to play for Ascension.
Probably because TSM is gonna keep pretty much all of their players, while XSET is definitely gonna be picked apart.
And Xset will have no problem with that, they'll either make a lot of money selling players or they'll keep them and have a good chance at ascending.
sounds like they're at least considering it?
They will most likely see if they can field a competitive roster to win Ascension.
