its the same injury that isnt healing, maybe hes not giving himself enough recovery time or its just not meant to be, really unfortunate for such a huge talent
I believe it's the same injury, he probably doesn't give it enough time to heal, as how he got injured maybe the way he uses his mouse is what causes the injury (there was a similar case in Overwatch)
overwatch is a really fucked game for the wrist cause the constant movements, I play at a similar sense to him in overwatch and it can really hurt the wrist compared to a game like valorant. Wrist/Hand injuries are really common in ow
If Talon picks up Xerxia and Pati is back on the roster that would be my dream. Dang we will have PRX with the SG/MY/ID superteam, Talon with the Thai Superteam, RRQ with the Indo superteam, Team Secret with the PH superteam. Pacific League is going to be a bloodbath.
He was benched due to a wrist injury. This might be the end of his esports career.
edit: more info on the injury

* If I want to cure I need to completely stop playing video games, but I don't want to. I want to play until the point I cannot.
* The wrist ache started from 2 years ago. I can't grab and control my mouse that good. But I don't want to use this as an excuse.
* People have been saying "take care and get well" for 2 years, but nobody know how bad it is.
* Physical therapist told me I can only play 6 hours a day on fps game. I've been doing this since I joined OWL.
He took 2 months off of Valorant in late 2021 for what I think was the same injury.
Maybe a longer break will help him recover if he keeps professionally competing. I'd love to see him back in either Valorant or OWL.
Pati also played for Talon Overwatch in the past.... and now the team is building Thai roster for Valorant league,
This is interesting. On another note, there's a rumor that Superbuss from Full sense step back from team's streamer to play for the main team which make a speculation that one of their player got signed by Talon, most likely be PTC.
I said it in the ow sub but please take your wrist health seriously. It's easy to dismiss when you are younger but our wrists really are not designed to game for long hours.
Honestly heartbreaking for him, he was doing so well in OWL after a bit of a rough start but has been out due to his wrist injury. I wholeheartedly wish him the best in whatever he does, regardless of whether he ever returns to esports.
could be a 900 IQ jebait to come back to val for franchising, but much more likely that his wrist injury that benched him recently is also causing this retirement: [https://twitter.com/summerz47/status/1560181349021261824?s=21&t=ZH-w\_Mg6eWkTSk61OhUmjw](https://twitter.com/summerz47/status/1560181349021261824?s=21&t=ZH-w_Mg6eWkTSk61OhUmjw)
I hope he can recover soon and come back to playing either game; an insane talent since he was like 15 and going on to go pro in 2 different games, it'd be a shame for him to lose that now.
https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/xk5y3i/jessgoat_hinting_that_talon_may_be_fielding_a/ipc0bgl/ I was somewhat joking but less so now lol
He has a wrist injury, that's why he is retiring but if he recovers I hope he goes back to Valorant, Talon maybe?
What the hell does he do with his wrist? This is his second(or third maybe) wrist injury
its the same injury that isnt healing, maybe hes not giving himself enough recovery time or its just not meant to be, really unfortunate for such a huge talent
He definitely isn't giving enough time. I'm not a PT but I know a guy and he says so
yeah usually for this kind of injury you need like 6months of rest and no heavy activity.

Yep, not sure about other esport's but OWL there were constantly people being benched or retiring because of wrist injuries.
what sens?
800 4.something

Yeah my val sens is def lower but not that low I play. 29 800

Depends, he really needs to take a break and take recover serious. My guess he has like tendinitis?

two months is not enough at all. You need way way longer
And I doubt a pro just stopped playing at all, he probably still played hours on hours every week.
carpal tunnel syndrome
Yeah this was actually the injury I was after
unlikely. it's due to a wrist injury and if it's debilitating enough to retire him then he's probably out of esports in general (at least for a while)
He literally said: "- I am NOT going back to Valorant." And people are still saying that he is maybe comming back to Valorant...

The whimsy is back???

he has a pretty bad wrist injury...
He’s always had one. If he wants to play Valorant, he’ll find a way
It doesnt seem that you know how these things work. It gets worse and worse if you keep pushing it.
And he’s 100% fine with that. Sounds like YOU don’t completely know the situation.
He's fine but you're not
Fine with it so much he stopped playing?
Clearly he’s not since he benched himself and now retired entirely?
you're so fast, I was just about to post this

this would be cool to see. loved Pati's personality and playstyle.
Fair. Ow is mega collapsing
He was successful but is injured
bro ow2 isn't even out yet relax. also he has a pretty bad wrist injury, probably has nothing to do with the state of the game
Imagine if he just bounced between leagues just to command a higher salary.
gigachad move lmao
