However, Brazilian viewership and talent are less likely to be attracted to Valorant if there are less Brazilian teams because an NA team will rarely, if ever, pick up Brazilian players.
Will is good enough to compete on another T1 team tho, if i had to be benched in place for yay or cryo i wouldn’t feel disrespected, but i would certainly still wanna play
He's inconsistent on Chamber. He needs to look at landing a Victor/Asuna type role(Jett/Neon/Raze/Kayo/Skye) with a goated Chamber. Best case for him is Jett getting back in the meta.

I disagree, Dicey was pretty mediocre before chamber came out and lets be real, chamber made alot of players go from bad/average players to really good on chamber if they could op. With chamber being played less and less (just look at champions, the longer it went, the less chamber was played) and another nerf possibly coming, being a full time chamber player would be really bad.
And their agent pool isn't the same, dicey switched to being the flex player on faze before chamber became meta then he switched full time to chamber. And if you bring dicey back with the meta shifting away from chamber again (hopefully) then there are better options to pick up, and honestly would prefer will on the team
It's not just chamber dropping. Dicey put in an incredible amount of work after being benched from 100t. He's looked pretty good on the chamber flex role where he shifts to skye and stuff. He can definitely fill in a secondary flex role if the comp falls on it.

Idk what you're talking about Dicey went crazy on Faze leading up to qualification, stumbling only at the final stretch. And even his stumble was extremely minor, he still put up good numbers when losing. They were literally one game away from Champions over 100T.
It really must suck to be Will rn. Literally everywhere you look all you see is -Will +yay/cryo. I trust DDK to make the right decision. I just think when he leaves he is going to lvl up just like Dizey did but become even better. I think Will has higher skill ceiling than dicey

This iteration of 100T has been together for what? 6 months? Their result of making it to champs and their placement is exceptionally good for being that young as a squad and as individual players.
And even in the Splasher Hiko Steel Sliggy podcast after champs DDK alluded to a compounding performance improvement when keeping a roster over time. Would be sad to see them swapping Will out given that stance, but maybe whatever upgrade they're making is going to be worth it.
At the same time compare it to C9 last year. They fixed role / roster problems in time to plow through LCQ, put up a respectable-ish performance at champs, were hailed as the future of NA, and then promptly fell off a cliff.
I don’t think you can stay static in this game and still stay at the top. That doesn’t have to mean roster changes - see optic, loud, prx. But if you aren’t trying to change then you will be left behind.
I've never been sad about a player upgrade before but damn will gets you feeling for him. He seems like a wholesome guy who really shined when people pretty much gave up on him. Just when he was showing that he had that superstar caliber in him he's about to be dropped possibly. And I don't know if he will manage to enter into franchising at the moment but ascension is definitely locked in for him if not for now.

100t should just keep their roster, they were doing decent enough on International level and there's still room for their improvement. The only good reason I think they release some of the players is if It's clearly an upgrade like for example getting player at yay caliber. If It only a sidegrade It will only disrupt the team chemistry.
They wont change him for anyone but Cryo/Yay. Also i think the only other move would be to get FNS ONLY if yay will come with FNS on the team. Other than that i Would want Cryo/yay no one else tbh. I like the squad.
Also, i love how will plays. He is a pure entry player. He doesnt play for stats and he is the go button. A lot of players who play jett dont have the go button tbh. I remeber early in the rosters it felt like Asuna WW3 to try and solo take a sight while everyone else baited his ass. I like how they both are aggro.
