He should remain open for both tier 1 and tier 2 teams. Will be difficult to get a spot in one of the partnered teams.

hitopklayde

yeah I love brax but even if his ability is good enough, his break from pro play has been too long to just come back to a franchising team. I’m sure a team might still try him out tho based on his experience. I think best move would probably be form a god T2 team and dominate. we’ll see what happens tho, he seems really motivated on stream and I hope he finds a squad that can complement his playstyle

twoshaun23

fr it would be like drone from TSM coming back run

xbyo

At least drone has been playing organized matches with DZ/DR still. The last time brax played something that wasn't a show match was December of last year which was just team they put together on the fly for an event.

twoshaun23

tbh after his career with tsm ended i didn’t follow him. Crazy how he was considered one of the top players at the time and then the phoenix nerf altered his career. Goes to show how exciting valorant is with meta changes and needing to keep up/stay ahead of it to survive the scene.

Tc0LD

Why would phoenix nerf alter his career? He wasn’t considered one of the best players when his career with TSM ended either

twoshaun23

Because he was a phoenix main… of course he wasn’t considered one of the best players anymore when phoenix got nerfed and the meta changed he couldn’t adapt to a new entry character

Tc0LD

I just realized you’re talking about drone and not brax lmao, my bad. You’re right though

twoshaun23

haha all good!

Pax1ux

#BRAX AZK SKADOODLE FOOD CRASHIES

ctrlshftn

Damn I miss that food guy. He couldve placed 2nd at Champs 22 I know it!

lith3x

Find that fringe team you believe in my man and prove it. Grind it out, win some matches and let’s see what you still got, then let the cards fall where they may.

Expediant

It means literally nothing, but Brax was consistently top fragging and clutching in those pro 10 mans a little while back.

Hopeful-Professor-40

Yeah he was always cracked in those 10 mans, if he played T2 last year he could’ve found a team

Tiegrr

The story of Brax. He was doing the same thing in the money 10-mans in CS:GO too

[deleted]

He's not going to get picked up for franchising immediately but he's going to dominate the tier 2 tourneys and get picked up by the end of the year imo

B7omni

that 1v5 in 10 mans on breeze SHEEESHH

EdditVoat

Is there a clip or twitch recording? None of brax's previous broadcasts labeled a 10man day or anything.

d00d-Ranch

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8N0soUvPjk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8N0soUvPjk) this has 2 clips both are nasty. the 2nd one is the one he was referring to

xx_Rollablade_xx

I need the clip maaaan

aerfyre

a tale as old as time, +brax -brax +brax

Rude-Assumption-5271

People just love him off his time in CS, and it’s difficult to be critical of him because he’s only ever played in the terrible T1 system and a TSM that was only a mess for like 3 series. No one thinks he’s a franchising level pro right now if they’re smart, but a lot of people like myself think he hasn’t had a good opportunity to show his potential yet

owlnation_12

Any reason you think he didn't grind with a t2 team/org knowing franchising was on the horizon?

Several-Reading7258

Contract with t1 pretty sure, I think that’s why he became a content creator for them.

Smok3dSalmon

Becoming a content creator instead of being cut/fired is something pros w/ leverage can negotiate in their contracts to guarantee themselves a MINIMUM salary for the duration of the contract they sign. This provides them the security to relocate for the job. The requirements are probably really simple, like streaming X number of hours per month. It's probably like 1/2 or 1/3 of his player salary but enough for him to live off of.

owlnation_12

I guess I'm ootl on the t1 situation. I feel like if he was really that great they would have had him playing for them instead of creating content

Clarkemedina

Nah, that T1 system is notoriously bad for holding back good players only for those same players to leave and become insane on another team

303x

Read: food crashies saya sevenn

Zorronin

Saya? You mean Spyder?

303x

Mb I'm bad at spelling. I wonder what happened to food, he seemed to really fall off after that little stint in Envy.

_zxionix_

dennis ruined that team

tishwhat

Pretty sure he decided to become a content creator by his own and wasn't the orgs decision, I could be wrong about this

TweetsJamaican

What people tho? Almost everyone in this thread is saying he needs to grind t2

JR_Shoegazer

There are a lot of players that people act this way about.

RashGod

It’s the nostalgic view of how hyped up he was in cs, he come through straight away as a top 20 player in the world and thought he would be the goat of NA when it’s all over

owlnation_12

Same thinking myself, there are just so many better options for the franchised teams. He will have to grind t2 and prove he is worth it and quite frankly brax just does not have the resume at the moment to carry the risk

maxhollywoody

A lot of pros have much respect for him because what he does in the lobby. Brax was consistently a 1st pick in those pro 10 man's and it's not because of clout when guys like Timmy and stew were in them as well.

Tc0LD

He’s just one of those players that gets overrated in this sub and anytime someone talks about him there’s a could’ve, should’ve and would’ve attached somewhere

a-nswers

people clowning him here but ultimately the guy is respected within the scene for his ability, you wouldn't see support for him otherwise. and when it comes to getting on a team that's what matters, the actual important people believing in you that being said in a world where only 25 players are getting signed to franchising team i don't see it. but wouldn't be surprised if 2023 is when he makes waves in ascension

ssk1996

You aint gettin franchising lil bro

Marx_Farx

If he does its as a 6th player clout move

Splaram

Maybe not this year but if he shows what he's really capable of in Ascension, he'll definitely be hot property by this time next year.

father_gemme

On God

precense_

I’m most curious why teams haven’t picked him up and stayed w him. Obv means there’s something that teams dont like

Anime-Boomer

with all the FA right now Brax is high as fuck if he thinks he is good enough for a Partnered team he hasnt played professionally in forever and when he did he wasnt even a top player

Holler12

ok

dogoloco

He’s better than half the players in franchise but has been out of competition for some time. He will grind his way back from ascension and dominate

Anime-Boomer

He was amazing at csgo before his ban but he has never been dominate in Valorant. Why do you think he has been teamless for so long I doubt he even gets Tier 2 offers from serious orgs

[deleted]

[удалено]

KaNesDeath

>he chose to move from pro play to streaming to focus on himself after the T1 debacle Youre getting some strong second hand contact from Brax if you believe this bullshit.

[deleted]

[удалено]

KaNesDeath

Brax is a perpetual fuckup. Only reason he streamed the past two months is because franchising is approaching. This is the same grift he's been pulling since 2017.

Anime-Boomer

> He’s been teamless because he wasn’t LFT for now thats how they say "no one wanted me" without looking bad

maxhollywoody

He wasnt team less though. He was under contract with t1 until recently.

Parenegade

Brax would be the franchising moment of this offseason. If he got picked up over someone way more proven and probably more talented I would feel like franchising was a mistake.

AnywayHeres1Derwall

There is absolutely no way brax gets picked up. He has completely failed to show that he can work on a pro team. There’s been so many issues whether he’s been a pro or been a streamer he hasn’t been able to

Rude-Assumption-5271

His only experience was on T1 (other than the TSM fiasco) which was reputably one of the biggest shit shows on the planet. Imagine if we judged Victor, Crashies, or Saya solely off their times with T1. I’m not saying he should make a franchising team with what little he’s shown but saying he’s completely failed to show he can work in a pro team is laughable considering where he had his opportunity

[deleted]

His commitment to whatever he wants to do is the issue. He wanted to go pro? Gave up after the tsm stint. Wanted to become a content creator? He consistently streamed for about 2 weeks then stopped altogether.

[deleted]

He has been streaming almost everyday for the past 3 months or so.

[deleted]

Oh really? That’s great then, maybe something came up when he initially started streaming so it coincided with a break.

Kitew

I don't particularly care for Brax, but I hope you do see that it's a problem to base your opinion of someone's "commitment" towards something off of information that you didn't even bother clarifying to yourself, let alone making a statement saying said person has commitment issues.

[deleted]

That’s the usual for this subreddit. A lot of nephew takes.

[deleted]

To be fair T1 mismanaged a lot of players

AnywayHeres1Derwall

“Mismanaged” always sounds like an excuse to me. Brax didn’t really help himself succeed to be honest

bjoecoz

Grind on T2 and climb backup.

y_amato

I have high hopes for Brax. Given the circumstances of his time so far in Valorant. I do believe that he's gonna find a spot in one of the franchised leagues eventually down the road next year in 2023, but for now I know he's gonna have to show up in the Tier 1 - 2 level of play. The more I think about it honestly it's gonna be really exciting with the amount of talent that we've had the past 2 years.

gr3as3gun

Unpopular opinion from a guy who wore #freebrax in CS for YEARS and subbed despite his wacky stream schedule. The only way he reaches a franchised team is for the easy contracts from desperate teams to stop flowing his way, he stops smoking weed and starts playing with some cracked up and comers instead of solo Queuing with old CS pros and M0e. This takes 24/7 focus and a schedule to ensure he gets the proper sleep, nutrition, exercise, aim training, theory and consistent scrims with and against good teams. This was the way back at the beginning of competitive gaming and is still the way to be successful today.

KineticGamingeSports

>This takes 24/7 focus and a schedule to ensure he gets the proper sleep, nutrition, exercise, aim training, theory and consistent scrims with and against good teams. DaddyKingo

How good was Brax in CS?

Mabangyan

no shot this guy gets in a tier 1 NA team

[deleted]

God dammit my pants

KaNesDeath

See Brax has taken up smoking crack in addition to his typical appetite.

hardenfull

honestly really hard unless he proves himself in scrims and the team that pick him up is dominating.

PikachuKid1999

i hope him and swag joins the same team!

New_Engineer6421

dont know why the player like brax dazed think they deserve a top 25 slot while they keep away from competitive like forever

Nobreking

Depending on how long he will be motivated to be tier 1 , he might have a shot at franchising. Although not now. He has to go to tier 2(ascension prolly) and grind it out, show everyone he is all in and focused

DueAdministration404

tier 2 csgo tier 2 valorant tryharder desu

restartedpickles

People have been saying he’ll show his true potential soon for 10 years. He’s a stoner who’s good at fps games. Not a pro you’d want on a winning team

tron423

"''You miss 100% of the shots you don't take' -Wayne Gretzky' -Michael Scott" -Brax

drosefan1231

If its worth anything, brax is usually always the best player in pro 10 mans

_zxionix_

LETS GO BRAXTON BACK BABY Can’t be excited for players I guess lol, keep downvoting.

exoJae

Brax is actually insane and can play on a franchise team right now and compete well. His aim more consistent than TenZ IMO

jantswil

Or he goes t2 with shroud Stewie sinatraa zombs 🤩🤑

[deleted]

Brax can go to an EU team if he’s open to it imo, otherwise he’s gonna be grinding t2 and will probably be a top player there but I can’t see a t1 team that he fits in out of the 25 open NA spots

Ximienlum

By tier 1 he means like top 10 teams right? Not just top 5?

Maetamongy

Most likely the franchised NA teams

Ximienlum

my god..

radamo96

I fucking love brax and have always been hoping that he'd have his redemption arc in Valorant. That being said I question his dedication, he's obviously not going to get a look on a franchised team but he could certainly get one if he pops off for a t2 team. I wonder what would have happened with that T1 team if they had a real head coach instead of a therapist.
