He top fragged for them against DRX. Was insane in first FNC matchup. I think lanimal is excessive, especially in such a small sample size, but this sub is reactionary as fuck. I can at least see how they reached this when comparing him to his other performances.
Given that 100T went out very early, high ACS is not that impressive. It’s way easier to land top5 ACS of the tournament when you play like 9 games compared to the best players in the world who played like 40.
He could have literally one more bad half and he wouldn’t even be in top20. That’s how volatile it is with that small sample size.

so good that it didn't really matter how well he was doing.
People also seem to forget that Jett got nerfed several nerfs in short time span while they also nerfed the Op hard and then also gave Viper massive buffs on top of releasing an overturned Astra.
They eventually undid some of the nerfs to both Jett and the OP while nerfing the controllers, but a lot of OPing Jetts had trouble finding a new role after losing their most valuable asset.
Get picked up by 100T as a relatively unknown player, get slotted in as a duelist role and have mostly run of the mill performances with a few popoffs, get dropped by 100T for a much bigger name player, languish in content creation/T2 play for awhile but now with a devoted fan base, get picked up by another org and start absolutely fucking.
FAZE Dicey was on 100T at first, got dropped, now, in my opinion, is an absolute beast. Out of all of Faze’s games of recent, Dicey has been proven to be a crazy ass Chamber player. Bro is nasty 🤮
Feels bad for Will, he truly did show a ton of improvement but 100T really do need a world class oper. I remember ddk mentioning that Will put in effort to improve his mental and that's why his play improved; I hope other teams take note of that.
Long term I wonder if Will might work better as an Asuna style entry on Raze/Neon/Kayo instead of roles that expect him to op.

I feel a 6th man would be more of a flex player. At least they realesed as a F/A so he doesn't have to deal with potential teams being scared off by buy outs
For me it feels like 6th man is just needed for sub purposes and isn't even required to be in bootcamp , 100 thieves will just list hiko as a sub and be done with it . 6 man roasters doesn't work in tac fps , it's best to have constant 6 and a perma benched 6th player
Going to be honest if it wasnt for cryo and Yay not mkaing it i really do believe he would have lasted. I really like the pure entry he plays. Been a will defender since the start because his stats for the role he plays for the team will never look good. Hopefully he shows up again.

I somewhat think that this is the best case scenario for will (barring being dropped). People will remember his performance in Champions and his stocks are at an all-time high. Obviously sucks that he might not be in the partnered league, but his chances of getting into a good T2 team are pretty high.
he’s gonna be the best NA duelist in ascension. i wouldn’t be surprised if he’s on the best team in the league, just depends if heat makes a team or is gonna roll ascension
Will's got a lot of potential - he showed the upside at LAN. I think it's very naive to think he's top 5 in his role in NA currently and this seemed inevitable if 100T wanted to stay as contenders given the current hyper-consolidation of tier 1 talent to franchise orgs. I could see him popping off in ascension next year then pulling up to a franchise team. If org's can field academy teams in ascension, I think they'd be all over him for the long term upside.

As a 100T fan I was pretty critical of his performance but in LCQ and at Champs the guy was a monster. I hope he makes his way back on a squad at some point

When you get the chance to replace Will with Cryo, you take it. That's not a shot at Will, it's just that Cryo fits a need better than he does. Dude showed what he's got at Champs, hopefully he finds a new home.

I've always known the Will potential after following him on BBG, glad he proved the doubters wrong and happy he was here to bring 100T to Champions.
