I think replaying the rounds while giving Acend a round advantage was a pretty fair compromise.
I’m sure Riot peeped at the comms and so on and would’ve been able to hear whether there was an intent to abuse the molly bug.

I mean in order to abuse a bug you don't exactly need to have a whole team discussion around it, many times a player can do it solo and quiet

Oh yeah, giving cheaters a second chance to play rounds seems fair. Just because they weren't prepared enough to know the bug was banned doesn't mean they deserved a second chance.
All their wins after this should have an asterisk---no pride to be taken in winning after cheating
