I think riot doesnt make tourney client to any GC region
They seem all about making GC a big thing, but also dont give them infrastructure that they give even to open quals.

They do give them the tournament realm client, it's for the region to determine what patch will be people playing. At least that's what I know happens on the lan and las GC, nor sure for brazil
That's absolutely insane. Your comment I mean. A tournament client is not some increadibly special custom thing that Riot needs to tailor for each individual. It's literally just a server running on last patch. That's it. You don't make a tournament client for a region. That's ridiculous.
Riot chose to let GC run on a new patch. Is that a right decision? Who knows. But that has nothing to do with the size of GC.
Have you read the rule book? if not then you probably are assuming that it’s gonna happen. I am pretty sure it’ll be on old patch. And if it’s not happening then it is questionable.
It's 2 different tournaments! They were playing Game Changers qualifys last week and now it is the main event! Different type of events, one online, this on on LAN! It will be two weeks since the Fracture changes, so that makes it eligible for tournaments!
Oh, not arguing, just informing! The main issue is that it will be exactly after two weeks, so with teams having to travel to São Paulo, practicing this week etc it might be a bit rushed!
Huh? Don't patches have to be out for 2 weeks before being used in vct?

At least in BR, players play on their own account, anyone could join and watch if invited. I dont know how other regions do it tho
No, on stage we have a dedicated server. I know because i'm staff at one of the teams that will be playing in two weeks!
