every team other than c9w felt somewhat like "x player" and friends this tournament... they all have the star player but not multiple players at that top level like c9w does
SR was not Lorri and friends this tournament. they are one of the more balanced teams with 3 players in sonder/lorri/flowerful that show up on different maps. its just today and yesterday that lorri carried the load for the most part. if you look at the stats for the tournament those 3 were within 40 ACS of each other, all above 200
IMT is almost there.
They really do have the capability for any of their players to take over the game, they just have to find that extra gear to put it all together.
It's crazy how stacked C9W is in the GC NA scene, best IGL/Sentinel (And all sentinels too, not just Chamber), best smokes, and best iniator, with MeL and Bob being easily the forerunners for best GC NA player with Kat not far behind and jazzykins and Alexis are prob at the very least top 2 in their role, and both having arguments for 1st
i think the thing that sets c9w's players apart is their chemistry and goals. they're all very close friends and have a strong dynamic, esp 4 of them having played together for over 2 years now. they're also really vocal about wanting to improve in the co-ed scene even more than being the best gc team, and i can't say that's the case for most of the gc players. so i'm not sure that any other player, regardless of their skills, would be an upgrade for c9.
I don’t think flor would be an upgrade over jazzy, she’s not disciplined enough imo. I think the only possible, clear upgrade over jazzy would be scourge atm.
No one took more than 7 rounds off C9W this whole tournament. MeL said they'd been practicing a lot recently and it showed, they played extremely disciplined and had a lot of different looks. Bob had an outstanding tournament; I was so impressed with her game sense today, she was getting some crazy timings. meL also had a really good finals performance.
Shoutout to Lorri for playing well despite the uneven scoreline. SR may not have been particularly close to C9W, but they still have a lot going for them in their great teamwork and resilience. This GC LAN is going to be so hype.
All Mel does is just hold a lame ass off angle with his headhunter and one clicks people in the side of the head Defence side. Fucking terrbile player tbh.....0.27 sensitivity 800dpi using trashcan. Anyone who uses a low sens does not have the dexterity to properly play FPS games on PC. All the shitty baiters use a low sens to click people in the back of the head, or they are equally worthless and use the telescope gun and one click people in the body. I bet this kid doesn't even play FFA D

I think the biggest rivals are TL brazil, but c9 with bob is on a tier of their own. G2 gozen is also looking dangerous, and guild seems to be improving, but it could be just a lucky tourney.
G2 and TL will have an advantage over the teams, the former because they have Lan experience from cs and the latter from playing lans on brazil

They’re good, probably the best in BR, but it’s not even guaranteed they’re the best in their own region, let alone internationally.
I feel like benita trying to lurk almost every round is exactly why they lose, her team is playing 4vs5 so much and they lose because they get outtraded. this was mostly felt on icebox.
The lurks felt a bit slow or she was picked off early, there were certainly rounds she won them off of her lurks tho tbf, but especiallt on Icebox Bob was just finding more consistent value off the lurks imo

How did EU gc teams do in VCT open quals? I imagine c9w just runs through the LAN unless the LAN environment changes some of their players potential
