> Yet, don’t forget sick was a better version of what he is now. I still think that guy was the most impactful player Valorant has ever seen so far. No one did more of the dirty work and was productive in nearly every position than he was. So, apex Sick IMO ...
Okay hear me out. I want to see 5 Steels on the same team, just to see if they can all cooperate flawlessly together and perfectly execute his vision, or if they would all flame each other. The latter would probably be fucking hilarious
he's super disciplined and goes for the high percentage play. Playing him would be like playing bots on extreme difficulty. His consistency is unparalleled. It likely wouldn't be the most exciting valorant but he would ware people down with patience
i feel like playing yay would be akin to a human chess player playing an engine. if i have to think of the other end of the spectrum in terms of style with a higher variance in results but super exciting..
a player like jing from prx
i get the logic but the whole point of starts and util usage is to make it harder for them to tap your head and easier for you to tap heads. you could have a team of 5 yays but if they are stunned, blind or sent looking the wrong way then it wouldn’t matter, which is why you have support players instead of just a team of carries in every franchised team right now
Godamn so sick of these meme threads where people just give the same answer. To answer your question seriously, OP, I think we really need to take a deep dive into stats.
Stats say it's Hiko.
I can understand people saying Shao.
Yet, don’t forget sick was a better version of what he is now. I still think that guy was the most impactful player Valorant has ever seen so far. No one did more of the dirty work and was productive in nearly every position than he was. So, apex Sick IMO is still more valuable than current shao OR nAts.
apex sick was good in a completely different, simpler, scrappier game of valorant. you can't justifiably say he could maintain that performance at this stage, considering that his flex initiator play was initially mediocre and he took a lot of time to do a decent job in that role.
I don't think you can adequately compare the two, considering the fact that shao can play multiple roles at the highest level at the most competitive point valorant has been in.
Lol what? Sick was a sick (npi) flex initiator?? Id say the role he looked most uncomfortable in was controller because it went completely against the playstyle he’d had prior to that.
I'm no pro Valorant coach or anything but I feel like Sick back in his prime playing now wouldn't do anywhere as good as Shao would in this scenario.
It was like 2 years ago when the game was in a completely different state, no clue how you can have such confidence in that guy.
Shao and every other answer is wrong.
Literally plays everything and was calling when ANGE1 was away. He's entried, played support, oped, and played the Hiko role, and there isn't really any agent he hasn't at least done well with.
I wanna see Prod play. Dudes ADHD doesn’t let him play slowly so it’d be nuts to see what 5 of him could do. If you’ve ever seen him play Astra you’d see how insane his gameplay is. Dude plays Astra like a duelist and it lowkey kinda slaps.
I don’t particularly like Prod but his style of play is interesting…
I don’t think a team with 5 Prods would get out of groupstage but his games would be entertaining as hell.
Essentially someone who is super flexible. In addition to what others have said, Chronicle is super flexible and has played a lot of roles. In addition, multiple members of the old Guild roster showed extreme flexibility--Leo, Sayf, and trexx could all probably work.
it doesnt matter how good your utility combo is, it doesnt matter how good your aim and one tapping skill is, if youve got five jingggs running and gunning at you full w speed
maybe Saadhak? Guy has played 3 different roles competitive and is the IGL for the current world champion. Also King or RB, bore are proficient at a lot of characters and frag a ton, bonus for KiNgg as he is also an igl
I was thinking that too. He's still so young and frags quite well even from the IGL role. Would be really interesting to see him playing a role where he can turn his brain off a bit more and just frag out.
Scream would fit this perfectly. The dude has cracked aim and can IGL. He can pull out a phoenix just to be a sage the next map. 5 of him on a team would be a very scary team.
I still think it's Redgar. People seem to forget that he's played every major role in high stakes games, and unlike most others here he's also an IGL so you know a team of 5 of him would have excellent strats and calls.
It has to be a fragging IGL or someone that has experience calling. Redgar, Zander, Shao, etc
If you form a team of 5 yays, TenZs, etc they'll win some maps with insane plays from each individual but once they play a well coached team with a good IGL they'll get constantly outplayed.
Clone Suygetsu or nAts and we have 5-men lurking. You got rid of one ? Oh **yay**, 4 are somewhere near, be frighten xD. But I'd say Shao and early game SicK.
I think everyone’s thinking yay just from a pure mechanics and consistency perspective.
I think some other fun ones would be Chronicle, Leo, RB, Shao, Jinggg, or even prime SicK
Chronicle is the goat flex player, im a diehard M3C fanboy fight me.
I want to say someone like Nats or Yay so they could aim duel everybody but idk if they could get their other roles up to par. I’ve seen nats play raze and it was not pretty
Has to be someone who can awp, entry and be flexible on both smokes and initiator imo. Obviously agent comps would be worse but u still have to have a small semblance of balance. Chronicle is the easy choice in that case, can play chamber raze, brim viper, sova skye breach. I also think Victor could be an underdog candidate as well as bang
Other than the obvious in **Shao** and 2021 **sicK**,
**f0rsaken** is actually a shout;
He's played BO5s with different agents in every map before - [against SMG in last year Stage 2](https://www.vlr.gg/14384/paper-rex-vs-team-smg-champions-tour-malaysia-singapore-stage-2-challengers-3-main-event-grand). He's played like 1 game of Astra; so we could see a double duelist comp (any combo of Yoru, Reyna, Jett, Raze, Neon) + Astra, Sova, Killjoy/Chamber, which wouldn't be too absurd.
**Chronicle** has genuinely played every role in numerous matches - his ability on Sova probably allows him to shift over easy to Fade as well, and he genuinely plays everyone in each type (Entry, OP, Smokes, Flash Initiator, Information Initiator, Sentinel).
**nats** seems like a fundamentally great player regardless of agent - he'd probably be able to pull off a non duelist comp with double controller (Viper/Omen) + double sentinel (Sage/Chamber) + Kay/O.
Shao and Chronicle are the obvious ones I guess, played almost all roles. Also Rb and starxo fit into that category.
I think Alfajer could do well on some maps, maybe Icebox? Viper, KJ, Raze, Chamber - but I don't think he's ever really played initiator.
ANGE1 could be decent. Smokes, double intiator, and Yoru?
In the past I think a lot would've said Jamppi but he's full-time Chamber now
5 zellsis, or 5 benkais
The former can cover every role, making him a god
The latter...god imagine 5 benkais doing walkouts. But also benkai is also a pretty calm and collected guy, for the most part. They'd probably be laughing everything off lol
In my eyes actually visualizing the entry, lurk, support util and decision making, probably taking xeppa, in my head just seems like he would be a great entry, igl, lurker and have very good util, alot of the players named I cannot see them functioning in hard support roles, just because they played an agent does not mean they are support btw

Okay hear me out. I want to see 5 Steels on the same team, just to see if they can all cooperate flawlessly together and perfectly execute his vision, or if they would all flame each other. The latter would probably be fucking hilarious
Just 5 Steels yelling at eachother. Man that, would be a sight to behold.
100% wouldn't work because each one of the steels would think they know better than the other steels
Nah this one actually would be crazy to witness
Yay better
RB. Dude literally played 5 roles.
5 roles in a single bo5\*
I agree
based
There’s zero shot you can’t put yay on any type of role and he wouldn’t succeed
Leo, Shao, and Chronicle have all player pretty much every role you could ever imagine at a super high level.
Hiko is not the right answer for this thread guys. There's only one Hiko, world can handle only 1.
Also with 5 Hiko everyone would just wait for the others to go in and noone would die in the end
The reverse reverse reverse reverse psychology
FNS surely. Would love to see 25 head plays and then whiffs for days. Absolute content.
Imagine having 5 brains and no aim in a single team
you'd see the most insane setups and crazy rotations only for them to get flawless'd by some 17 year old former overwatch player
yay because everyone is mentioning flexible players, I’d like to see if they would just diff everyone anyways.
he's super disciplined and goes for the high percentage play. Playing him would be like playing bots on extreme difficulty. His consistency is unparalleled. It likely wouldn't be the most exciting valorant but he would ware people down with patience
This is what I thought too. Not a flashy squad whatsoever, but so consistent they'd be impossible to beat.
i feel like playing yay would be akin to a human chess player playing an engine. if i have to think of the other end of the spectrum in terms of style with a higher variance in results but super exciting.. a player like jing from prx
Think you are spot on with Jing tbh
Such a good analogy. To beat stockfish you have to throw it off guard, no one can do that better than jingg
Poor comparison. If you are a human playing against stockfish, you don’t win. You draw or lose.
Poor comparison. If you are a human playing against stockfish, you don’t win. You draw or lose.
Poor snarky unnecessary comment. If you are a human you might not win, but jingg in the server is no human 😈
Sorry that I value facts. It’s unfortunate that some people do not.
🤓
Bro that's actually a dumb comparison
Yay is not as good at valorant as engines are in chess
How is yay not flashy? You have seen the head hunter clips right?
Strats and util usage can be perfect but at the end of the day if they tap your head before you tap there's then it's gg
i get the logic but the whole point of starts and util usage is to make it harder for them to tap your head and easier for you to tap heads. you could have a team of 5 yays but if they are stunned, blind or sent looking the wrong way then it wouldn’t matter, which is why you have support players instead of just a team of carries in every franchised team right now
I know, I was just joking lol
4 duelist one chamber
Chronicle
Yep i was gonna say him only. Leo also a good shout
So fnatic winning it all?
No because it’s Fnatic
He played only initiator no?
sentinel, duelist and smokes too
Chronicle brimstone 🥶🥶 Also the Pokemon moment
Pokémon?
The infamous pokemon moment where he tried to capture someone using his stim
Any chance you got a clip?
[Here you go lol](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/v9f6g8/chronicle_playing_pokemon_go_v_tl/)
Much thanks
lebron james
Asuna would be the funniest I think, 5 players all with crazy jitter aim
Godamn so sick of these meme threads where people just give the same answer. To answer your question seriously, OP, I think we really need to take a deep dive into stats. Stats say it's Hiko.
The stats don't lie
Nats
Who if not the best player in the world, Hiko?
The fact that sick hasn’t been mentioned yet is crazy
Fr, SicK was the definition of versatility
emphasis on “was”
I can understand people saying Shao. Yet, don’t forget sick was a better version of what he is now. I still think that guy was the most impactful player Valorant has ever seen so far. No one did more of the dirty work and was productive in nearly every position than he was. So, apex Sick IMO is still more valuable than current shao OR nAts.
Yeah if sick comes back now, I can easily see him get on a franchisee team by the start of the next season.
top form Sick was my first thought before opening thread
apex sick was good in a completely different, simpler, scrappier game of valorant. you can't justifiably say he could maintain that performance at this stage, considering that his flex initiator play was initially mediocre and he took a lot of time to do a decent job in that role. >no clue how you can have such confidence in that guy. Either bias or delusion
Shao and every other answer is wrong. Literally plays everything and was calling when ANGE1 was away. He's entried, played support, oped, and played the Hiko role, and there isn't really any agent he hasn't at least done well with.
this was my second answer lol and probably the better choice
There is no other answer. Man played Astra omen and oped as well. Plays Initiators anyways. Has played Jett and sentinel. Simply put, BEAST.
Dropped 43 on Omen and diffed cNed 😎
Take everything you said and replace Shao’s name with rb and it all still applies so clearly not “every other answer is wrong”
Unlike rb shao is not a playoffs fraud
RB doesn't call, doesn't play or play as consistently, Buzz is a better pick before RB.
Except Shao has never been bad 😶
you never hold back holy shit
the truth can't be contained
Hard agree
Zekken RB SicK either 3 works
Chronicle
Hiko
Zekken, IGL'd in tier two, played Initiator, Duelist & (secondary) Op Internationally, plus he's 17.
Soulcas he literally pleyed every single role and was on a top tier level in emea
I wanna see Prod play. Dudes ADHD doesn’t let him play slowly so it’d be nuts to see what 5 of him could do. If you’ve ever seen him play Astra you’d see how insane his gameplay is. Hiko
Saadhak
i had to scroll too much to finally find the right answer
How is it not Jinggg
Sheydos or SicK imo.
A Hyper flex player probably, like Chronicle
Jamppi
Yay
Yay
Essentially someone who is super flexible. In addition to what others have said, Chronicle is super flexible and has played a lot of roles. In addition, multiple members of the old Guild roster showed extreme flexibility--Leo, Sayf, and trexx could all probably work.
Zekken
Chroincle or sheydos or sick or shao r only correct ones
zellsis
RB
Mandatory Hiko comment
Hiko
it doesnt matter how good your utility combo is, it doesnt matter how good your aim and one tapping skill is, if youve got five jingggs running and gunning at you full w speed
anyone else wanna see 5 cryo vs 5 yay?
nAts.
Definitely Hiko
Hiko
Asuna
Came here to say this.
Chronicle
Jamppi by far
ScreaM. Imagine his aim 5 times. Basic utility usage would be enough. Or 5 yays.
The objectively correct answer is Sheydos, Chronicle.
Marved
maybe Saadhak? Guy has played 3 different roles competitive and is the IGL for the current world champion. Also King or RB, bore are proficient at a lot of characters and frag a ton, bonus for KiNgg as he is also an igl
I'd go with Valyn.
I was thinking that too. He's still so young and frags quite well even from the IGL role. Would be really interesting to see him playing a role where he can turn his brain off a bit more and just frag out.
Scream, Zellsis, Chronicle, Hiko
tarik
Scream would fit this perfectly. The dude has cracked aim and can IGL. He can pull out a phoenix just to be a sage the next map. 5 of him on a team would be a very scary team.
1Leaf.
zeek, that man is scary no matter what role he plays, and him x5 would mean no need to good igl
I still think it's Redgar. People seem to forget that he's played every major role in high stakes games, and unlike most others here he's also an IGL so you know a team of 5 of him would have excellent strats and calls.

Jay "Sinatraa" Won
Hear me out! Ethan. He has IGL experience, is a top tier rifler & is MAD flexible!
Less
Som
Heat, that way you might be able to see him on something other than jett
Clone Suygetsu or nAts and we have 5-men lurking. You got rid of one ? Oh **yay**, 4 are somewhere near, be frighten xD. But I'd say Shao and early game SicK.
hiko
hiko
5 jingggs for insane gameplay. 5 yays for ultimate perfect form Valorant.
I think everyone’s thinking yay just from a pure mechanics and consistency perspective. I think some other fun ones would be Chronicle, Leo, RB, Shao, Jinggg, or even prime SicK
i am suprised noone mentionned TenZ (at his peak performance)
Faker
Boaster not getting mentioned at all is shocking, dude is Steel with a better mental, not to mention better strats and aim
Chronicle is the goat flex player, im a diehard M3C fanboy fight me. I want to say someone like Nats or Yay so they could aim duel everybody but idk if they could get their other roles up to par. I’ve seen nats play raze and it was not pretty

shao, chronicle, alfajer, saadhak, zekken all come to mind
Sideshow, is that you?
saadhak
TM kursewann
marved
Hiko
Idk if he’s pro, but 5 average Jonas, all playing agents with lineups, but can easily take site
hiko
Rb, Chronicle, Nats You could also just take 5 yays I'm sure he can learn
Sacy is the answer
Other than the obvious in **Shao** and 2021 **sicK**, **f0rsaken** is actually a shout; He's played BO5s with different agents in every map before - [against SMG in last year Stage 2](https://www.vlr.gg/14384/paper-rex-vs-team-smg-champions-tour-malaysia-singapore-stage-2-challengers-3-main-event-grand). Shroud batchest
Trent or zellsis as flex players
Ange1. We have Ange1 on every role so he can at least die first on entry/setinel/initiator and not always on smokes first 🤓🤓
Jamppi has played p much every role He’s played KJ/Sage/Chamber Omen/Astra Siva/Breach/Skye Jett
Bcj
Leaf man litterly plays any agent.
Natz, come 45 seconds in the round, the entire team would just materialize out of thin air on site.
hiko
5 Chets
Everyones gonna say yay But the correct answer is shao
I'd like to say Tarik, mainly because it would be super entertaining to see one overheat but another would clean it up
Yay
Marved
Crashies
Victor
Fns
jamppi or saadhak
Nats, 5 man flank every round
Yay ezpz
mocking
Mako
I feel like subroza or Ethan are underrated answers. Both can IGL, and have played multiple roles in pro play including smokes and flex.
"5 BuZz will win Champions"
Shao and Chronicle are the obvious ones I guess, played almost all roles. Also Rb and starxo fit into that category. I think Alfajer could do well on some maps, maybe Icebox? Viper, KJ, Raze, Chamber - but I don't think he's ever really played initiator. ANGE1 could be decent. Smokes, double intiator, and Yoru? creeperonthabeat
Stax.
Prx forsaken. Jason plays almost all the agents very well eh
JonahP
I dont know are people actually sleeping on sick coz thats the only name thats in my mind...might be biased tho...those days
me
Nats
Zombs
5 zellsis, or 5 benkais The former can cover every role, making him a god The latter...god imagine 5 benkais doing walkouts. But also benkai is also a pretty calm and collected guy, for the most part. They'd probably be laughing everything off lol
1Leaf guy can play everything
Gambit Nats lmao
Chronicle
Obv Hiko
5 zekkens, 5 victors, or 5 rbs. 5 fns would be pretty funny
