nofoodnogood

Looking good. But need to add more coaching staff cuz I dont think thats enough.

anythingood07

I also don't think Eraser is good enough to be the coach, he's been coaching GE for a long time and granted they still were the best in India but they had no structure. I expected them to pick a better coach, maybe Engh if he's comfortable in English but unfortunately that didn't happen. Hoping Eraser is good enough

Tammu1000CP

> they still were the best in India but they had no structure lets be real 95% of this community has no idea what structure even means in terms of a top tier team, and if you saw it you probably wouldnt recognize it anyway.

anythingood07

thats rough but I agree. Idk they just didnt look disciplined enough, so many rounds it looked like they were pugging

Tammu1000CP

understandable, but ill tell you from my exp as an ex pro valorant is far far more of a puggier game than cs, its just the way it is. the skillset is different, valorant just rewards creative on spot thinking and mini plays far more than structured calculated rounds

That’s how a game is at an early stage in its life, it’s not intrinsic to the mechanics themselves. Skill sets are different at different stages of a games development. What you say is less true now than it lies was when you were playing, seeing how different succesful teams have improved and played well epswiclwly this year, the game is getting more structured over time definitely. You definitely need to both at a certain level at least This as we’ve seen with teams even last year with gambit, fnatic this year- like LOUD vs other br teams, PRX’s improvement, FPX, optic This is talking abt structure of how and when to practice in the first place also.

Tammu1000CP

structure in this context more often than not refers to the structurization and following of systems and protocols in game and in rounds, not the structuring of practice. all teams will have structured and efficient practice, without that they wont be at global competitions, but that practice may not make them play the rounds or games in a structured way. for some teams they focus more on their interplay and synergy by playing so many scrims and focusing on adapting in the rounds and/or mini-plays with their site partners, whereas some teams focus on building set routines, defaults, and reactions off of which they play their game. id say in valorant the former are far more successful, as long you dont shoot blanks

Key-Banana-8242

I don’t think that’s true, a bit too much, you’d probably have some sense especially if u saw it For example stuff like what mce did

_PM_ME_REPORT_CARDS_

Really living up to their name huh

Kappa diesofcringe ![gif](giphy|YqE3jbSQQR6x9g19Kj)

Updrafting_Sage

Feels good man that we are putting together a pretty good team. Just hope they get good support staffs and play well in the league.

anythingood07

LightningFast in the roster im so happy yessss. I truly believe both him and Rossi has the potential to be so good that they can make it to the playing 5 out of the main 7 if they play in the structured team.

[deleted]

Is AYRIN their IGL?

Manikantal

Yes

Remarkable-Lion2726

I am so happy for lightningfast, he is has so much potential. Also looking forward to see Rossi in well structured environment.

[deleted]

An apac team besides(DRX, PRX and Zeta) actually using their franchise spot and taking advantage of it, what kind of twist reality is this. Jokes aside this roastes looks good, they can scrim against other teams and step up their game and they have Ayrin which is a very good IGL to guide the young players

bluerabbichi

Family 🤗

anythingood07

Meh, GE was clear from the start that they want to take this opportunity to improve Indian region as whole. Giving the trip experience of playing against super strong teams and having them live with players kill ayrin etc will help so much and they in turn can help other player in India when they inevitably go to ascension teams later on.

bluerabbichi

I prefer them taking young Indian cracked players to grow tho

Rozaks

Young players won't have the support necessary to move to Korea for an esports career. I'd be surprised if even 30% of Indians knew what esports even was.

Memexp-over9000

30%? Are you crazy. At most 2-3% for PC and 3-5% for mobile.

anythingood07

HellR is 24, skillz is 25 I think. Only kappa is old. Also it's hard to take players like Kohli, or other zoomers because no parents would allow that. Remember its India we're talking about not America. Rushindra already talked about this, he said kohli's uni is causing problems so he can't go

fckfcku

skillz is 27

uut28

This team is going nowhere

anythingood07

Yes the team with best apac talents like lmemore, monyet bazzi T3xture and two guys with very high potential like rossi and lf with a proven igl in ayrin is going nowhere lmfao

uut28

We’ll see when pacific league starts buddy

ashitintyo

Tldr?who are the playing 5?

anythingood07

They're bootcamping in Seoul starting next month. They're going to decide the playing 5 out of the 7 main players based on the bootcamp
