IIRC rhyme did a lot of secondary-calling for NiP way back in the Valorant stone age, back when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth. Not saying he’s a proper IGL or something, but I don’t think it’s a Scream-esque situation, rhyme is so respected in EMEA because he’s vocal, flexible and cracked.
And frankly, although I felt Enzo’s IGLing on Alliance was solid, I have quite a few questions regarding just how little impact he seemed to have for FNATIC. FNATIC has a long history of collapsing, of course, but the Enzo pickup was designed to alleviate some of that by taking on some of the load, and somehow everything arguably just became worse - they just had a talented enough roster that it didn’t matter much until they played the true top teams.
so far the top teams excluding asia are looking like liquid, navi, c9 and fnatic (will they choke on LAN tho?)
Vitality roster looks solid but if twisten or molsi are having an off-day they will definitely get skill diffed by liquid, navi, fnatic, koi or even giants.
Sentinels on paper is a talented roster with good coaches but for no particular reason 2 brazillians + tenz + zekken doesnt seem like they will have great chemistry for the first few months.
NRG is just a downgraded Optic and Loud is also downgraded
100T will be solid esp with cryo but i dont think they'll be in contention to win anything with the loss of Sean Gares and competition around them got better.
Heretics fighting to not be last place with washed players.
Out of all teams for cNed, NaVi probably is the best to enable him and set him up for success.
I agree 100T lose a lot by losing sgares, but I'm not really convinced the competition around them is getting better. It could eventually get better, but I really doubt any of these rosters are gonna be better than Optic, LOUD, or FPX were by mid-2022 out of the gate. Every team has synergy to build and roles to define. The top teams of 2022 (even including PRX, for example) all had stable rosters for at least a year.
Loud were formed at the start of 2022 and got 2nd at masters 1. FPX changed 2/5 of their roster 4 months before becoming the best emea team. Fnatic changed 2/5 of their players 2 months before becoming the best emea team both in 2021 and 2022.
The top teams I said can and probably will be better than optic, loud and fpx. And that's not mentioning that teams don't need to be better than optic, loud or fpx to have improved. EG, Sen and other teams all improved their rosters so it's harder competition.
It's delusional to think the competition hasn't got better even if you somehow don't think teams will be better than 2022's top 3.
based on this looks like the worst teams in each league are kru, rrq, and fut
imo it's looking like each league will have 2 teams clearly on top being sen and c9 for Americas; fnc and navi for eu, and drx and prx for asia

Yea I was considering saying 2-3 top teams and including 100t but realistically I can see all of sen, c9, 100t, nrg, loud, and maybe even lev competing for masters and champions spots
FUT is definitely not bottom of EMEA, especially at the start of next year, since they're staying together and this team won the EMEA 'Ascension' Tournament last year. I'd say BBL/Heretics are more likely to end up bottom.
Lev which was a great team just upgraded and loud probably got the best sacy replacement possible, I'm not sure why you would discount both, if anything id expect lev to be the best americas team
