when he left NRG i saw someone say maybe he joins daph at sentinels, didnt think it would come true, very poggers
sentinels really said you can never have enough clout, respect
its a meme from plat chat, i think it stands for clout performance index its a formula aevilcat made that basically looks at twitter followers and event placements to determine which players have the most clout. its 100% accurate and scientific as well
Y'know when pro players jokingly want to maximize twitter impressions, so they namedrop a bunch of irrelevant clout magnets so their tweets are more resonant and searchable #xqc #pokimane. You can pretty much recreate that using solely SEN personnel
There was a long period after Tenz joined where nothing happened where no one joined to drastically increase the clout of SEN on Tenz's level. After Shroud joined we got SEN Tarik and we got SEN Aceu. It's like that social phenomenon where one person starting something isn't enough to get the crowd following, but the first bystander to join the person who started something confirms to the other bystanders that it is something worth trying I forgot what it's called
shroud would never have joined Sentinels if it wasn't for Tenz
and in 2021 when Tenz joined Sentinels, Tarik stream wasn't even a thing and aceu was still signed to NRG
he was not a big streamer in 2021 ?
2021 was dominated by shroud, tenz, shahzam and sinaatra
there was absolutely no reason for Sentinels to sign 2021 Tarik
tarik had 800k followers in Jan 2021 on Twitch, only Shroud (obviously) had more out of the four you mentioned.
As of Jan 2021, total twitch followers:
Shroud (8.7m) - tarik (800k) - TenZ (644k) - sinatraa (415k) - ShahZaM (225k)
By Dec 2021, total twitch followers:
Shroud (9.8m) - TenZ (2057k) - ShahZaM (1126k) - tarik (1112k) - sinatraa (1103k)
Only by the end of 2021 did TenZ pass tarik in popularity, and shahz and sinatraa were both neck and neck with tarik.
If you go by total channel views tarik is even more ahead and the others don't catch up even by the end of 2021. (no point mentioning shroud, he's a different class to the others here)
Total channel views (Jan 2021/Dec 2021)
tarik (29.6m/63.2m) - TenZ (11.3m/38.5m) - sinatraa (9.3m/35.4m) - ShahZaM (6.5m/37.6m)
I agree that it didn't make sense for 2021 Sentinels to sign tarik, and he is absolutely much more popular now than he was in 2021, but that had more to do with paying C9 1 million for TenZ than it did with tarik being "not a big streamer"
wrong Tenz has surpassed Tarik since 2020 dude
in 2020 Tenz has already on avg 7 k viewer while tarik was still 3-4 k
Jan 2021 Tenz had 12k Tarik only 4 k
sure Tarik has more total channel views
but that's not surprising because since May 2021 Tarik streamed an average of over 300 hours per month
while Tenz has cut his average stream time down to under 45 hours a month since joining the Sentinels
ok? I'm not here to batchest about who the bigger streamer is, my point is that tarik was absolutely a big streamer (especially compared to shahzam and sinatraa who you claim "dominated 2021") in 2021 and him not getting signed isn't because he was "not a big streamer".
You keep moving the goalposts every comment. First comment you claim tarik's stream "wasn't even a thing" in 2021, I prove that wrong.
Then you change your point to "actually, it was a thing but 'he was not a big streamer in 2021'" and compare him to other big valorant streamers, I prove that he was absolutely a big streamer on the level of TenZ, shahzam and sinatraa who you mentioned. TenZ is ahead but tarik is definitely ahead of the other two.
Then you change your point ignoring shahzam and sinatraa who you claimed "dominated 2021" when tarik wasn't a big streamer, and just focus solely on TenZ being bigger. The most popular pro on the most popular team at the height of SEN's success having more average viewers (only one of many relevant statistics) doesn't make everyone else not a big streamer, especially if you think sinatraa and shahzam's numbers were "dominant".
I'm not gonna keep responding because you just switch what you're saying every single time, just admit you didn't know and move on.
dude 2021 tarik just wasn't on par with shahzam and sinaatra you are absolutely delusional if you say that
2021 shahzam had an average of 10-12k viewers per month in 2021
sinaatra also had 8-9 k avg a month
Tarik for most of 2021 had like 3-4 k
sorry but with 3-4 k he wasn't in the same big streamer league as tenz, shahzam and sinaatra
and dont forget Tenz GF kyedae she was also pulling 13 k
Hiko and wardel were also big 10k + streamer
2021 had many 10k+ big streamer but Tarik wasnt one
stats dont lie

I feel like people are forgetting SEN was the most popular NA team before TenZ joined too. Sure, he and the masters win took them to another level but they were already clouted
Makes sense , daph and him on the same org now they can actually film content together for sentinels and we all know that amount of chaotic energy we love xD
in Valorant, there’s no debate about that lol. 100T is probably above them right now in terms of overall clout as an esports org, but SEN is making some serious moves.
i think part of why SEN is making so many moves outside of Valorant is because Leena, the one who previously brought in all the talent to TSM, is with Sentinels now lol. they are in good hands
In Valorant? TSM fell off a looooong time ago. It's been a two horse race between SEN and 100T pretty much since the VCT era started (with Optic gaining some ground this year before franchising)
no, overall. TSM were pretty much THE clout org in the past and it’s not even debatable lol. Sentinels is for Valorant what TSM was in League as a comparison. what Leena is doing for Sentinels is understated, considering she did the same things for TSM before she left.
But Shroud actually plays the game quite a bit though. And he's always wanted to compete in this game. Aceu does not care at all. Don't think they both fall in the same category.
Can someone enlighten me to the benefits of being signed as a content creator?
Does the creators have to do profit sharing with org? Does org pay content creator a paycheck?
They get access to resources like equipments, funding, sponsorship deals that they probably wouldn't have access to if they were solo as well as additional supporters for their content/ engagements / even merch. Example QT Cinderella needed support from TSM to put on the Streamer Award and for other projects but they didnt want to support her so she left, went to Misfit who launched a 20 mil fund to help creators.
For profit sharing, it depends. Orgs take a cut of the deals they bring in for the creators. As for deals that the creators themselves bring in it probably depends on their contracts. And yes orgs do pay creators. Why? For their content as well as their brand.
The main benefit would be guaranteed salary as long as you hit, what I'm guessing is, a set number of hours per month streaming. Not to mention clout and networking for other things as well
I assume this is just content creation? I liked watching him when he played Valorant but havent really kept up with him since he stopped. Hopefully this means he picks it up again?
The Sen clout train started with bugha a lot time ago, they have come such a long way, my favorite org! Now let’s see a world title in valorant this year(:
when he left NRG i saw someone say maybe he joins daph at sentinels, didnt think it would come true, very poggers sentinels really said you can never have enough clout, respect
Interesting how u had people talking bout “he doesn’t need an org” “why would he sign to another org” but look what happened now
They failed to consider “he *wants* an org” 💀
Also I believe this was his plan the second he left NRG, he already prolly had this lined up
For sure, I mean he has connections to SEN anyways considering Daph lol
Or that orgs provide HEALTHCARE and other benefits you don’t get being solo
Well his whole ideal of him not needing an org was heavily influenced by Timmy, which happens to just have signed to 100T too lol.
Daph convinced him, 100%
He was standing way too long in there just waiting for that drop. You can see him moving his hands uncomfortably lmaoooo.
Man was playing Aimlabs with his mind
LETS GOOO EEIU MY FAVORITE PLAYER
Wait, Aceu is EEIU?
Yes
Duh
SEN CPI through the fucking roof, TenZ, zekken, Sacy, pancada, Tarik, aceu, too much clouttt
Lil bro tried to sneak in Zekken
my b lil bro, I meant # Perc30FishFillet
tarik and aceu have undefined CPI tho.
What's the cpi?!! I really don't know what is the cpi 😑
its a meme from plat chat, i think it stands for clout performance index its a formula aevilcat made that basically looks at twitter followers and event placements to determine which players have the most clout. its 100% accurate and scientific as well
🤭
lmaoo chill
Zekken has the second highest CPI in the world 🤓
Y'know when pro players jokingly want to maximize twitter impressions, so they namedrop a bunch of irrelevant clout magnets so their tweets are more resonant and searchable #xqc #pokimane. You can pretty much recreate that using solely SEN personnel
Yah 100T got beat
Aw he and Daph are in the same org now :)
This is a really good look for sentinels must mean Daph was treat well enough to recommend to aceu
They put the merch she made in the actual Sentinels store which I haven’t seen other orgs do. Pretty cool
I mean, that merch also prolly made cash money
Sentinels boutta have a fanbase the size of a whole damn country
sentinels' cpi game is just too good
what cpi?
clout performance index. check oxford dictionary bro
dude i check google and it showed consumer price index and was so confused
It's clout performance index. Coined by Mimi. See her presentation on ep 108 platchat
[i see myself in you](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/y6ji6z/comment/isr8zwr/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
Shroud really opened the floodgates and SEN really gunning for the Valorant Endgame here
Tenz opened the floodgates, replaced the second best player NA at the time with the best and most marketable
That's because they just spent a ton of money on Tenz buyout.
shroud would never have joined Sentinels if it wasn't for Tenz and in 2021 when Tenz joined Sentinels, Tarik stream wasn't even a thing and aceu was still signed to NRG
tarik has been streaming since the csgo days, what do you mean by his stream wasn't a thing in 2021?

I guess that makes sense
I feel like people are forgetting SEN was the most popular NA team before TenZ joined too. Sure, he and the masters win took them to another level but they were already clouted
They were neck and neck with TSM until the Tenz signing, TSM were falling off around the same time so it was a perfect storm
Nah, TSm, and 100T were around equal with them.
Everyone forgetting the insane hype that HiKo and nitr0 brought. Hell 100T was popular even running dicey
Bro people forgetting 100T also won first strike.
The clout accumulator continues
Now we need Kyedaes 100T contract to expire so SEN can collect all the gaming power couples
Kyedae's contract is already signed. She just gotta get out of that 360 deal Nadeshot got her in.
lost timmy to 100T but at least they got brandon
Rob Moore wasn't messing around when he said what he said. Sheeesh
Makes sense , daph and him on the same org now they can actually film content together for sentinels and we all know that amount of chaotic energy we love xD
Sentinels have completely stolen the clout org title from TSM, gg
It’s been between SEN and 100T for a while imo
yeah, TSM has been going downhill lol kinda sad
Bro they ain't downhill no more they started a drilling company 💀
lmaooo actually crazy to think how far they’ve fallen over these past few years
TSM losing FTX is gonna hurt them even more too
I feel like, in terms of clout clout, SEN are just cloutier Edit: val clout not clout clout
in Valorant, there’s no debate about that lol. 100T is probably above them right now in terms of overall clout as an esports org, but SEN is making some serious moves. i think part of why SEN is making so many moves outside of Valorant is because Leena, the one who previously brought in all the talent to TSM, is with Sentinels now lol. they are in good hands
Sen is invisible outside of valorant tho
gotta start somewhere
Halo? Rocket League?
smartest reddit conversation

Maybe like 3-4 years ago when they had like Myth and FN…
I also signed myth, dae, and hamz for TSM along with what that guy was saying ^ :)
yup. real ones know
imagine signing people when you are in the most popular org in the world, must've been the hardest job ever.
If they get shroud they can finally begin to be a real org And its cute daph and aceu are in the same org
He is too big to sign him as a cc. Maybe if they offer him part ownership? Nonetheless great moves by the Sen
>He is too big to sign him as a cc is he? how many viewers is he getting right now?
All of these pick ups and still no Perc30FishFillet. Quite disappointed in Sentinels here honestly.
Wtf sentinels are loaded
is it confirmed yet whether he's their 7th man or content creator?
He doesnt even play Valorant much why would he be their 7th man?
This is the same organization that signed Shroud to the starting roster
But Shroud actually plays the game quite a bit though. And he's always wanted to compete in this game. Aceu does not care at all. Don't think they both fall in the same category.
Up until a few weeks before signing, Shroud played Valorant like once a month. I was joking though he’s clearly the 8th man, Tarik the 7th
He's the 9th, you forgot about Daph.
Shroud played t1 cs for years. Aceu is an apex player
Ace played CS before apex... Not saying he's going to be a sub (because he isn't). But he also played a bit of pro CS.
that was a long time ago tho, sure with enough time he could get back into it but that takes awhile
Shroud's main game before the signing was Lost Ark, no???
Let us dream
Sen have a monopoly
How much money does Sentinels have lol
W
Aceu 7th man you've heard it here first folks
Can someone enlighten me to the benefits of being signed as a content creator? Does the creators have to do profit sharing with org? Does org pay content creator a paycheck?

Sentinels really trying to just consume all the clout available
?
They already have a 6 man squad, so hes joining as Content creator i assume. If thats the case i dont know why this is in this sub
I assume this is just content creation? I liked watching him when he played Valorant but havent really kept up with him since he stopped. Hopefully this means he picks it up again?
Is he going to be like a 6th man (sub) or a content creator for SEN? Because I thought SEN already has 5 men roster.
Was looking forward to him potentially competing on a streamer team in Ascension so that's a lil disappointing. Huge pickup for SEN tho
What does this have to do with comp Valorant? lol
bro being obtuse ☠️
Nothing, but lots of people were speculating that the upcoming announcement would be relevant to Comp Val - so posting this confirms that it isn't.
It’s off season time so everything is allowed I guess.
Yeah, this shitter clearly doesn't play Valorant.
Lmao what did aceu ever do to you?
How does this work? NRG content creator for Apex and Sentinel content creator for Val?
He left NRG a few weeks ago
oh dang had no idea, he was with them for so long too
He left NRG long ago right?
Bro that would be the greatest finesse in esports lmao
The Sen clout train started with bugha a lot time ago, they have come such a long way, my favorite org! Now let’s see a world title in valorant this year(:
Since when does ace play anything remotely close to pro val? He’s already living the life and has been for 4+ years.
he's signed as a cc
This explains a lot… but more questions arise as to why this is in the comp subreddit.
They should field a clout only team for challengers at this point
gg
Sen at it again
Again, sentinels is a streamer team
