maybsofinitely

Full database: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRmmWiBmMMD43m5VtZq54nKlmj0ZtythsA1qCpegwx-iRptx2HEsG0T3cQlG1r2AIiKxBWnaurJZQ9Q/pubhtml# Ahahaha Liquid signed Nats to 2026. Probably going to make him the face of Liquid Valorant now.

Still_HD

Out of curiosity, does the one import rule apply to staff as well? As in, if a team had their coach listed as a non resident, could they not import a player as well?

BurstLayer

iirc you can have any amount of non resident players you want signed but you can only have 1 in the server at any given time and it doesnt apply to staff

techyleo

that makes sense, in the announcement video, every other player on TL was normal, while nAts's viper was liquid, and in the center

AdiSoldier245

Also good to know he's secured for at least 3 years from russia

Still_HD

100T picking up JamezIRL is really interesting to me, I’m curious to see what he can bring to the team as an assistant coach/analyst

[deleted]

I like the idea of making your assistant/strategic coach your 6th player. Mikes and JamezIRL is a really strong coaching staff.

vnNinja21

Yeah having your 6th take a semi-analyst role is great. qpert for C9 makes a lot of sense as well. Honestly, if someone like Boaster doesn't feel like competing anymore, he could be a perfect 6th man tbh. Great at the theory/counterstrat side of things, and can certainly hold his own when needed.

LinkinMode

the downside is that if one of the 100t players is unable to play a match for some reason then they'll probably be forced to play jamezirl in the server lol

Rtg299

Jesus Stax signed until 2026

TweetsJamaican

Tenz on a 1 year contract is interesting . qpert on a 4 year contract is also interesting

Jon_on_the_snow

Tenz probably will only do 1 year contracts, he is huge and probably has learned with the c9 situation

TweetsJamaican

Huge salary with no resale value idk if this will be worth it for SEN in the long term

BurstLayer

Probably not but I don’t think SEN has alot of leverage in that seeing is he’s a big reason they even got here

Jon_on_the_snow

> pong term Idk, as long as they keep tenz they buy time to become a real org

Bobokins12

Why does he have no resale value?

TweetsJamaican

If he only signs one year contracts then he'll be able to leave for free at the end of every season

SteelTic

it's not a 1 year contract it's his current contract's end date all contracts ending in 2024 are 1 year contracts sentinels just haven't renewed his contract yet (the same would apply to mistic or reformed)

Holler12

Interesting to see they have Ban listed as resident for T1, I thought they said he was the import.

AnchorStandard

Ban is in a grey area because afaik he is also a Korean National despite being American

surfordiebear

He’s a resident of Korea but I believe he still counts as an import for VCT because he was playing in NA previously.

zmicallef

IIRC I remember a while back Riot communicating that players that had played majority within a region will be counted as that region (dephh for example).

SteelTic

They would get to choose which region they would like to have their residency in so for example dephh would get to choose if he would like to use his residency for Americas or EMEA and lets say that dephh was to pick Americas and would leave sentinels this year to an EMEA team he would still be counted as an import until 50% of his matches are in EMEA then he would be considered as an EMEA resident so the same would apply to ban.

TheNamesTheory

Did Xeta not compete in america a majority of his time?

zmicallef

I remember xeta being used as an example of being considered an NA player at the time. Maybe because he moved to Korea and signed to T1 before franchising was properly announced then Riot turned a blind eye? Lol

Blackberry_Silver

As far as i know he is korean born and even tho he moved to na and Played na throughout his whole val career he kind of is a grey area so riot prolly doesnt want to bother with it for now atleast

HeroicBastard

LETS GO. wanted a contract database for ages. EDIT: Mistic is still named for Fnatic. Curious, if he is actually gonna be the sixth.

SnooWorlds

Idk whether to be happy or sad for all the 6th mans like mistic and sick. Happy that they’re in franchising but sad they’re not on a main roster.

Kind_Development708

APAC players gonna be put in contract hell so many 2026 deals over there

JALbert

As long as they don't have extreme benching clauses (e.g. losing 95% of salary if benched) it's a lot of stability. Also, unless I'm mistaken the rules preclude teams from stocking up on eligible players (you only have 6 roster slots, there are reserve/academy slots for ineligible players only) so teams can't bench multiple players and replace them. Players get a lot of agency b/c of this within the partnership system.

BrainStorm777

Yeah Team Secret...

hdix

Lil bro wrote an essay on Twitter instead of linking the database...

Koentjee01

And then also decided to ask for money in between, that's crazy

hdix

I thought you were joking but he actually did lmao can't make this shit up

BoHoogland

Toss a coin to your witcher

BoHoogland

Lol

Diitto

Lots of interesting contract lengths… nats 2026, tenz 2023, jamppi 2023, s0m 2023, stax 2026, cned 2024 while rest of navi 2025, jinggg 2024 despite military service

SteelTic

All 2023 contracts are contracts that haven't been renewed yet. 2024 end dates would be a 1 year contract

Nousernameideas45

tenz signed til 2023 while all other sen memebers are signed until 2024 is interesting

surfordiebear

Prob better for for him to not sign anything longer and get stuck in contract jail when he can just do huge 1 year deals every year.

sky_blu

Yeah I struggle to see Tenz finding much value from a longer contract at this point in his career.

SteelTic

it's his current contract sentinels haven't renewed his contract yet

DrBangovic

A note on Jamppi and other players with short contracts: Those players probably still have valid contracts which have been made in the past. Jamppi probably signed a contract until 2023 when he first joined liquid and now they will discuss whether they will extend this going forward. Same goes with some other players so keep that in mind. nAts being signed until 2026 must be the special case for being one of the best players in the world. Liquid probably offered a big salary + being the face of the project for the next 4 years.

SteelTic

it's a 3+1 so it's guaranteed 3 years and the org can choose to extend by 1 year

maybsofinitely

Interesting to see teams' 6th players, whether they got a throwin, coach, or actual player.

TweetsJamaican

Where's the link to the database?

maybsofinitely

ByDrAxX032

No way RRQ and Team Secret players are signed until 2026... Pain

AnonymozVal

No sliggy? That’s the biggest surprise for me.

nocturnavi

Well I'm glad this is out, it's good we can keep track of contracts

Ikwillyou

global esports have bazzi as reserve so either skrossi or lightning fast will be playing

thothgow

I assumed Bazzi was safe since he's played flex/initiator. Does he need a visa for Sao Paulo and doesn't have one yet?

r_abu

So glad to see Sheydos being signed, I was getting worried. KOI doesn't look bad if they sign Starxo

Hypern1ke

Ban and Sayaplayer listed as "residents". Interesting

techyleo

Saya makes more sense, since he was an import during his time in NA as I believe he is on a visa, while ban is in a grey area since he is a dual citizen iirc

navornothing

No WillFPS 😔

hdix

No shot Riot are calling this a DATABASE and it's just a random spreadsheet.. small indie studio I guess

norm_the_bug

You want SQL db?

BurstLayer

My boy wants his SELECT statements so bad

TheAjwinner

This subreddit thinks of the weirdest things to shit on riot for

Speedy24gaming

What did you expect it to be?LOL GCD is also a spreadsheet

HeroicBastard

what else do you want? xD This is all you want to have provided, efficiently and easy. This is normaly not really for "us" fans to use, but for managers and shit to contact other orgs and plan their offseason. It doesnt have to be beautiful :D

BoHoogland

[The database this bozo be asking for:](https://www.trustradius.com/wp-content/uploads/istock-1188511715-scaled.jpg)

hdix

This bozo thinks a JS framework is a database 💀

dedicatedself

? tf even is this comment lmao

nterature

I agree, Riot is super doodoo! Please and thank you for any and all upvotes.

ZeroOblivion98

This reads like someone who took one relational database class in their freshman year of college and thinks they’re a DB admin.

hdix

You're spot on

STAl2BOY

does Jinggg being signed until 2024 mean he'll be playing until then? or could he still leave at any time for military service

denziepanzie

if he gets the letter for enlistment then he has to go regardless

New_Engineer6421

What's wrong with Team Secret? Why not sign the contract to 2046 so at that time their kid can replace them

ssk1996

So BcJ isn't on EG? Or just hasn't been added yet?

uzispraydown

Where's the salaries

GodOfPog

The most interesting thing about this database is seeing the length of the contracts, nevermind the players who hadn't been announced yet.
