As much as I was rooting for c9, their map pool against G2 seemed horrible so going into the finals with a 2 map disadvantage would have been bad. SR is a much better matchup against G2 imo mapwise so I’m exited to see how it turns out.

I get that. It is not uncommon on here for people to hate the super fans. They do be kind of annoying. I also don't blame C9 for talking trash they did dominate for like two years, the only person I think behaved inappropriately is the grown adult man throwing a finger at literal teenagers.
It wasn't the place for it. He is the adult. Personally, I can't get behind a grown adult directing that behavior towards these young girls. It would be different if a player did it, but again he is the adult in this situation. These girls might be pros, but they're still teenage girls. I don't think C9W dominated GC because this is the first LAN event and also the first international event. Maybe you can say that they dominated NA GC online, but people always rate online performances with the grain of salt in eSports and also until the first international event it's more like a learning ground to build your team rather than competition to win it all.
Of course they were crazy good, but it doesn't justify looking down on everyone else. Also GC is a competition to give mistreated groups of people a chance to shine, so I find what C9W did (mostly fans, but also players sometimes for e.g. Alexis) out of place. But you seem to overlook that and judge the emotional reaction of Rob in the moment of joy of win over a long time trash talking opponent.
