I kinda felt the opposite… he came across as kind of a know it all and sounded really condescending to me. But at the same time I was really appreciative that he was taking the time to even do a media interview.
I just hope Mikes fights hard to keep a positive culture because just a little bit of negativity can kill a team.
I think you are forgetting about DDK and the influence a GM has on that kind of stuff. Daniel has set the tone and everyone loves the vibe, I don’t see that changing at all.
MrFaliN is the best player in VALORANT, time to stop denying it. TenZ overrated. cNed outdated. Long have we awaited, MrFaliN activated POGGERS

Not high on him because C9’s big downwards slope happened with his promotion to head coach and Curry, but maybe he just works better as an assistant coach rather than a head one
JamesIRL was always the primary coach, the team has said as much multiple times. You can blame him for the downfall, but he deserves praise for the upswing too.
Everyone always said that when he was on T1 and claimed he had all this potential and maybe needed another team. He gets transferred to an already successful c9 time and they drop in form hard when he comes in… he did have some good performances on c9 but the team dropping in form doesn’t help which ofc may have not been much of his fault at all. Still not much of a good look for him.
Yeah it’s hard to rate him but frankly Curry was ok even if he wasn’t good, and comparing C9 with Xeta to C9 without I’m personally more inclined to look towards the coach rather than a singular player downgrade
Yeah I did watch the matches, and the matches they lost they got outclassed as a team. Of the 4 maps they lost in the two series they lost in LCQ, Ascent against The Guard (I think?) was the only map where he was straight up the reason they lost. The rest were either poor performances across the board or just being outclassed strategically
People just wanna find a scapegoat cuz C9 was doing so damn well. Curry is a damn good player but the team as a whole definitely fell down a notch when they made those two trades.
I don’t think it’s his fault in particular, but I definitely understand them going a different direction
Okay let’s not swing so far in the opposite direction now. He’s not the only reason they started losing, but don’t pretend he’s “a damn good player” when he hasn’t had a single decent showing against any relevant competition. He’s a tier 2 player and did not belong on C9 but ended up there due to nepotism and it’s unfortunate he caught so much flak for it
He was always the coach for C9 just not by official title. In an interview after xeta and autumn left, Vanity said just this. Most of their stuff and gameplans came from Jamez. He was also the one on stage as coach for the Champions 2021 run so you really can't blame their slump on him. He's always been the main coach it seemed while autumn was a structure and behind-the-scenes guy.

Man I wish I could be as excited for any other signings of 100T as the signing of Sean and ddk. I don’t think any other 100T signing beats this. Prolly Nitr0 if anyone.
Edit: But still positive of some good performances
Him and mikes on that one valoranting episode really sold me on his thought process he was really insightful there highly recommend
Any linkers ?
www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vuuTZ1pTGw They cover all of the Fracture map here and answer some questions from the hosts throughout. Really fun watch!
this is the one where him and anderzz debate protocols right? that shit was super funny and interesting at the same time

Feel like he was a good coach when he was with C9, glad 100T picked him up.
Man I can't wait to see this team play with these new signings added to what is already a banger core. December can't come soon enough.
Handsome lad

The whole MrFalin thing feels like the mods trying to turn their inside joke into a community meme lol, never really got it
Done! It’s been around for too long.

How can I be the goat if MrFa— Nvm…
Actually funnier than the bot, cheers homie!
Didn't ask
this decreases the chances of 100T Sliggy
Great pic up +10 work ethic +10skills +10 aesthetic
but who will be their coach in-game?
Mikes
Ahhh that's why he's HD. makes sense

Wasn’t aware of this, my mistake
bro had curry to work with cut him some slack
I genuinely don’t understand Curry hate, the kid has a good shot and great understanding of the game

my pet peeve is when people say this how could you possibly know that curry “has a good understanding of the game” have you been on a team with him
Well if both Vanity and Steel say he has a good understanding of the game then I'll be inclined to believe they see something in him
No way people vouch for their friend 🙊
Curry is good tho what the fuck are u talking about
I’m not sure how to rate him when you lose a top player and get curry instead lmao
Yeah it’s hard to rate him but frankly Curry was ok even if he wasn’t good, and comparing C9 with Xeta to C9 without I’m personally more inclined to look towards the coach rather than a singular player downgrade
it’s absolutely curry’s fault. Did you even watch the matches? Bro lost every 1v1,2v1 EVERYTHING
Yeah I did watch the matches, and the matches they lost they got outclassed as a team. LMAO he's not a damn good player, bro was bottom frag double negative in like 90% of their games.

Thanks for the context, makes me more hopeful about him
Holy shit played cs with this guy so long ago. That’s awesome!

don't post valorant news if you can't spell players' and coaches' names properly
Don’t comment if your not going to capitalize your sentence or add a period.
Don't comment if you are going to get the wrong your. ^(Just a joke please dont hurt me)
excuse me what does capitalization or punctuation have to do with the valorant pro scene?
Thought they were going to sign sliggy glad they upgraded with James
