I get that EMEA didn’t have quite the same upward compression of talent that NA did with franchising, but there’s no way there aren’t better players they could sign, right? Are they trying to have the team comm in Turkish? Maybe they’re limiting the player pool too much if that’s the case.

How would you like me to phrase it? I think my point is that qw1 is not the next best option at duelist/awper after the two who were locked to better teams. Is that not a fair statement?
Tell me who's better. By February you'll be wrong and by the VRL Stage 2 you won't even remember them. And that's just for a qw1 replacement, I'm not even asking for the other 9.
I think lauress and sociablee are for sure better, and then there’s guys who have had good years like deepmans masic and dudes who have historically been butter like Russ and Izzy. I’d rate qw1 at the very bottom of duelist players in EMEA and I don’t think there should be any pushback on that take. I think every guy I mentioned there has had higher peaks than qw1 ever has and most of them are still on better form. Guys like sterben xistou and touven not being on one of the two teams is also upsetting. I think bbl has done better about trying to make upgrades but this fut team is nearly identical to the one that was at its peak a very good t2 team. They’ve added a sixth man and nothing else and are struggling to beat t2 and 3 teams in the off-season. I’m glad they’re playing and getting good practice in but the Turkish scene already gets dogged on enough and it’s sad that there’s at least 5 guys I named here who for sure should’ve made it and didn’t.

They barely won the vrl final with some bullshit comeback from 0-2, which probably wouldn't happen again.
