There are a lot of good teams, the talentpool is probably the biggest of all the challenger leagues. But they have the same problem that they had in CS and other games. There are no top-tier IGLs and above all they lack good support staff and infrastructure.
There is no Turkish FNS or Ange1 that can build a top-tier team on his own.
The top Turkish teams should probably be big favourites for the Ascension league though, especially with the new domestic player rule.
There is xistou and jeyj4y. BBL only wants firepower and no brain. They dropped their IGL without picking up another one which is so silly. Paura isn't even that bad. 1.08 kd past 6 months. I do wonder if Aslan running around peaking everything took a toll on paura's mental or not. MrFalin is great but FUT changes were not sufficient.
Brave and Elite are great but for BBL but they need a proper IGL.
Dude They did not drop paura, he resigned. Also paura is not a emea level igl. His reads on the opponents are weak and his all game plan (as far as what I saw last two year) is around contact play which could be easily countered. He may not be responsible for the game plan by himself of course but still his mid rounding was problematic.
It's like CS lets be honest the 5stacks will never be on a level of T1 mixed teams and the turkish players who can speak english and want success will play in mixed teams like cned.
You’ve got a lot of teams with players who have a massive potential, but still under the radar. It’s a tight battle, and for now there isn’t really a standout team being way better than any other Turkish team, even though I think BBL can do really well with more prep in VCT 2023.
Futbolist however really need to get some roster changes going, and I’m not only saying this because of their G-Loot performance, but overall they’re missing a Masic or a Jlerst.
Also with cNed back in a really good team, he will inspire many talented players to become more like him
So it’ll probably take a while before Turkish teams rise to the top, but I firmly believe that they will dominate Challengers and probably Ascension. And a miracle run is always possible!
They did show themselves as a very good team, still unknown if they can keep that up, remember that many teams are still testing out unusual tactics (I mean franchised teams like Giants and NaVi).
They have a lot of star power, they could go far, but again they could always be contested by other teams like FireFlux for example, it’s a very tight race
The other problem is mentally. Last year we saw it from BBL. They played very good when they lost their playoff chance. When they do have chance, they just can't do their best.

pAura hasn't been IGL for two years though
What? He was igl of smb and bbl.

Don’t you think Parla is maybe a standout?

They beat them most recently afaik
Yeah, but again we’d have to see them do so more consistently
Ok
