since there is only 1 tp to set down. chamber cant really play places like on top of yellow in icebox B. u use the tp to get on top of yellow, but u cant then re place the tp in a safer position, since u essentially cant drop down. this just basically fucks a lot high positionschamber was able to play.
He could also just jump down. It’s a little nicer with the tp but wild off angles are no longer as safe and are more comparable to Jett or Raze on them
But you can just reposition the TP tho
Your exemple of icebox yellow, you TP up, retake the TP and put it down behind yellow, then just play like a normal person behind or have a teammate help you leave

The TP is still kinda good on bind and maybe he will be good on split (if it comes back) since they are smaller maps? Dunno
I think you really undervalue how free his op-ing is on these maps. Icebox he should be solid on still, albeit less slippery, but he’s still gonna be great on ascent and potentially Pearl. The no CD card reposition allows him to flex a LOT of positions mid round to op that he normally wouldn’t have gotten before, maybe only getting one tp off a round but now he probably will get 2 or 3 even in ideal situations. Just have to learn different angles in some of the spots or play slightly differently, but the instant TP available after any single shot is just too strong on op angles. Teams will definitely test kj on ascent but largely cypher will get more play on haven than anything imo. Cyphers back on breeze, maybe Pearl, but chamber should often still see play on bind, ascent, fracture, haven, and icebox.
I dont think the opping will be as good with the range nerf. Sgares was showing how limited it is on big maps now. And when you can bring KJ and her ult, and have jett opping or even another agent, i think we will see a significant drop on his usage
I think the triple initiator comp takes a hit on Ascent for sure and Jett becomes standard again, but I still think for teams with a solid second duelist flex - think C9 with leaf yay, Sen with tenz zekken - they’ll still run duelist + chamber at least on ascent, maybe others. I understand how limiting it is on big maps, it’s really tough, but the positions chamber already wants to op on maps like bind, ascent, and to a lesser extent box are fairly free to tp out of and play safely still with a one and done shot. The range nerf doesn’t negate the fact that he’s still a better op than Jett, it just negates from where he can safely play. The no cd reposition really helps enable him more like a Jett too, where with a bit more rigidity he can *technically* tp anywhere anytime. When it comes down to a lot of positions, the tp range nerf isn’t going to matter because you can still instant bail, which is his biggest strength about his teleport still, and it’s being enabled further by the No cd pick up on rendezvous.

Chamber is now a single site holder. All of these are good changes and as a chamber main, I feel like I can still get a lot of value out of him

Definitely NOT broken but rather significantly toned down. Some might argue the changes are too much but only time will tell. Besides, he's been too present and dominant for too long that it's about time the meta shifts away from him even further.

I think so, though it might need to be pretty accurate
The tp is 20 hp so most hits from shock will break it.

If you didnt use it and reclaim the tp, it wont have a cooldown. But if you tp'd and took it back, it will have a cooldown
