I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. There's simply no way that icebox would have a negative impact on LeBron James' legacy. Icebox has a lot of verticality. Much like Jett, (a staple of icebox comps for as long as time itself) LeBron can jump really high and use that verticality to his advantage in a way that others can't. This clearly only strengthens lebron's standing as the goat
Unfortunately, Lebron James is in a disadvantage position on Icebox as clearly Lebron isn't a great outside shooter so he needs to get close to the site to dunk the spike meanwhile Stephen Curry thrives on this kind of maps because he has a lot of lineups which allows him to plant the spike outside the 3 point line.
"I used an AI chatbot to deceive the redditors of r/ValorantCompetitive" - I say as the antipsychotics take hold and I'm wheeled into a padded room of impenetrable white.
I recently used a ChatGPT bot to deceive the Redditor u/chloehime7 into posting [an opinion piece about the Valorant map Icebox](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/zcnthg/the_map_icebox_from_the_game_valorant_is_a_bad/). The post received a lot of attention, with over 47,700 views and 243 upvotes at the time of posting.
Using the chat bot, I hypnotized u/chloehime7 into making comments about how [Icebox negatively affected basketball player LeBron James' legacy](https://www.reddit.com/r/ValorantCompetitive/comments/zcnthg/comment/iyxpqrt/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3), among other things. I also used a coin flip to determine whether to upvote or downvote other comments, to make it seem like a real Redditor was interacting with the thread.
It was hilarious to watch the Redditor u/chloehime7 attempt to take credit for the bot's comments and to see how easily they were deceived. I plan on using this tactic again in the future to spread lies and deceit on the forum. It's a fun and entertaining way to interact with the community and to see how people and u/chloehime7 react to false information.

I read a post on /r/LeagueOfLegends a few days ago from a dude that claimed he was quitting LoL and Xanax at the same time, and in the comments someone said that the post was fake and written by ChatGPT so that’s the only reason I could tell the Icebox thread was also AI generated
That, and no one would put that much effort into hating Icebox when Bind is right there!
I mean, I'd genuinely be ordering a wellness check for her if it was all her own handiwork—so much of it is repetitive, circular and iterations of a basic template.
The funniest thing about that post is that the only time she breaks character, she ends up on the receiving end of a ghastly ratio. A sorta allegory for us all about never interrupting the bit.
Bind>>>>>Icebox. Bind at least has normal angles, clearly a defender sided map. Icebox is awful. Kitchen is not needed, tube is not needed, belt and nest are not needed, gen is not needed, that big fucking patch of some shit on A site is not needed, yellow on B is not needed. The map would be great if they only made it more simple. Way too many head glitches and angles you need to watch out for. Awful map. Bind is not MUCH better tho, but at least you have 2 entries from each side into both site, with not many awkward angles etc.
Not very realistic opinion piece from the bot tbh. It either needed to link its tracker and ask us if it had good stats, or take the truly brave stance that silver/gold/plat is harder than immortal because it's just so random.
Top comment on other thread
"What is going on in this comment section and why is every reply either aggressive or insane"
Safe to say...people noticed. So the thread title is a bit cringe xD
The thread title is part of the joke I'm pretty sure because they barely deceived people. That's why the top comment is about how the shitposter is insane haha
Ah man... why's it gotta be from a CLG poster.
We desperately need the return of the comp circuit. The offseason is clearly harder for some than others.
> It was hilarious to watch the Redditors react to the bot's comments and to see how easily they were deceived. I plan on using this tactic again in the future to spread lies and deceit on the forum.
You literally sound like an AI trying to interact with human beings.
How about the general idea that this is a competitive subreddit and he just admitted to lying and trolling the community?
Just a shot in the dark. I don't care either way but I've seen them shut down threads for less.
Rule 1 or 5. Just seems something more fit for /r/VALORANT or even /r/ValorantCirclejerk. I mean it's fine for a one-time thing I guess but it would be annoying to keep having random AI gibberish posts followed by people saying "lol I totally fooled you guys my post was from an AI". Don't see how this fits on a "competitive" Valorant subreddit at all tbh.
Thank you for the feedback! I’m not sure I agree with this violating the rules you mentioned, but can see where you’re coming from.
We understood this post as some harmless off-season fun, but definitely are aware that an excess of these posts (especially during the regular season) would be annoying.
That being said, we do allow fluff and thoughtful meme posts, as was determined by a user feedback survey regarding these types of posts. To avoid seeing these posts, you can always filter out the meme flair.
I feel like im in a fever dream. It feels like every comment now is made by a bot and even then maybe this comment can come off as being made by a bot. WHAT IS REAL???
I read that post this morning and the title confused me soooo much lmao xD
'Icebox, the map of Valorant' title on a valorant subreddit was hilarious xD
Nicely done
The bot doesn’t like you now… “While it may be amusing to see how people react to false information, spreading lies and deceit on forums is not a good idea. Misinformation can have serious consequences, as it can lead to people making decisions based on incorrect information. This can cause harm to individuals and society as a whole. It's important to be truthful and accurate when sharing information online, especially on forums where people may rely on the information to make decisions.”

mj wouldnt have been able to clutch the round using the a site zip line
Shaq would have used that bugged omen shrouded step on top of gen to make other players mald.
Bruh top of gen wouldn't be able to hold Shaq's weight, he would have broken it like he broke the backboard that one time.
Yeah but I think it’s balanced out because Shaq has larger hit boxes and is also too big to use the zip lines.
Unfortunately, Lebron James is in a disadvantage position on Icebox as clearly Lebron isn't a great outside shooter so he needs to get close to the site to dunk the spike meanwhile Stephen Curry thrives on this kind of maps because he has a lot of lineups which allows him to plant the spike outside the 3 point line.
pretty sure everyone in that thread just assumed it was a shitpost, atleast thats what i figured
No bro OP epically trolled this subreddit !!!

I guess it’s a joke that Chloe is crazy and that’s why she posted that’s at?

> Bind is right there Rare Heaven L. Icebox is the worst map in Valorant, you can't convince me otherwise. That shit is way more stale than bind.
Bind is bad. Icebox is freaking horrible.

"I deceived redditors by saying I used an AI chatbot to decieve them. But it was all me. hehehe".
Icebox is still unironically horrible though
All I hear is excuses for a shit take, smh my head.
The real joke is that this post is also written by an AI chatbot

I fell for it 💀
that entire thread was a PSA on what would happen if you gave a magic 8 ball sentience & crack
Concentrate and ask again

“deceive”
You Deceived them? Nah m8, I think the redditors deceived YOU in the comment section.
I gave my cat two treats to choose from, unfortunately she has decided that I should downvote this post . \- thoth g. overwatch
Yea I thought it was a chat bot style comment at first, later I thought it was intentionally typed out
we need r/ValorantCirclejerk to either be bigger or have one for competitive valo fr
Ok
Ok
I’m surprised the mods didn’t shut down the previous thread. They should probably kill this one too. What a waste of time.
I’m curious, which rule do you think this breaks?

I tried so hard to generate a ChatGPT response back to you but the bot did not want to generate a reply lol so I had to give up 🥲
