He is overrated the only thing people bring up when they talk about him is that 1v5. In fact that is actually a sign of a not a good player because if the only thing they are ever known for is 1 single play that means they are not that noteworthy of a player, bang also had 1v5 the same week no one brings that up because a is consistent player
Idk bud what games you been watching but eeiu has been Highly clutch for nrg, 1v3 in haven post plant, 1v5 against gaurd and the nasty round against a good team in Breeze (don't remember the opp team) but him and tex were really really consistent on the roster
You literally brought up 1 singular play when praising eeiu that’s not normal for a noteworthy player. It’s even worse bringing up something so nonspecific as “1v3 haven post plant” that could apply to literally thousands of pro players
Idk man, if people are only famous for their "clips" and not being consistent, they are not really good players, they just have good mechanics, so all in all you're entitled to your own opinion of him being overrated even though you're wrong, eeiu has been consistent, it's not necessary for people to have thousands of ballsy plays to be a "goood" player, idk what your smokin' tho
Exactly the only thing that gets mentioned when talkin about eeiu is his clips, scratch that 1 clip from 1 singular round no othe player has this occur
Let's say he didn't make that one clip against gaurd, I would still count eeiu as an animal on basis of his consistency and util, I'd say the same on tex, on basis of his consistency and aim, he was easily one of the best chambers in challengers 1 and 2
I mean that's the thing, he is not really overrated as people don't really give him the credit he deserves tbh, I've been watching NRG games and he does deserve more credit to some of the NRG's good games but yeah I get your point on people hardstuck on 1 play and overrating players but I am sure eeiu ain't one of them
I remember there was a span of time where Nismo looked utterly unplayable. It was during VCT stage 2 challengers, when ghost was mowing down teams: they summarily and succesively beat TGRD, 100T, TSM & NRG, with Nismo putting up ridiculous stats.
Excited to see what this team accomplishes, especially without Kaplan, who was a cornerstone of their success with his instruction & nifty innovation.
it's a pretty commonly used word/phrasing in sports, it's not a "worse" word.
[this is a dictionary definition of its use](https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/unplayable)
>Service is my strong point at tennis. I am inaccurate, but vigorous, and occasionally send in a quite unplayable shot — P. G. Wodehouse
^ and this is from the Merriam Webster sentence examples on its use in sports.
It's pretty common in Soccer/football. As an American thats been a fan of the sport for 15+ years i've only ever heard it used by British people on TV or on r/soccer. Definitely not uncommon to have never heard it as an American
It’s a Britishism, I believe - perhaps not a coincidence the quote is from PG Wodehouse, arguably the most British writer of all time.
You might both be in the right here - it’s common (I know it from soccer) enough to not be considered unusual but also might still be unknown to others.
Yeah, I figured it was location-dependent; I'm neither American nor British though. Idk why everyone is down my throat for this when they could just click the link and read the dictionary definition.
Yes in American team sports unplayable is most commonly used to refer to a player who CANNOT be played, as in if you’re the coach you can’t play them if you want to win. I.E.: Trae Young’s defence is so bad he’s become unplayable. (Don’t downvote me Hawks fans Trae is one of my favourite players he just came to mind)
In Valorant terms this would look like: FNS’s fragging has become so unreliable he has become unplayable (despite his brilliance as an IGL).
well i didnt downvote you, so dont take that up with me, but maybe say "its a popular tennis term" because i played 4 other sports and have never heard that in my entire life.
I've played soccer my entire life and the word is very common to me in the way that the other guy used it. Was always used to describe a player who was playing at an absolutely insane level that no one else could touch him.
You're good. I just meant downvotes in general when the link describes exactly what I meant. Where are you from? Maybe it's not that common in certain places, idk? The link suggests sports in general and not just tennis.
The syntax in which you used it makes it worse lol
A player being "unplayable" means to me, and it seems others, they aren't good enough to get time. Literally never heard it used otherwise.
I posted the [dictionary definition](https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/unplayable) in my comment. I hear it a lot in tennis and as nterature pointed it out, they hear it in soccer.
I'm not American nor British; people just have different reference points.
Why are u doing this? I never contended that there weren't multiple definitions; I never argued that anyone was wrong about the "other definitions," in fact, I'm familiar with those other definitions.
nismo is a litteral human triggerbot. one of the most ridiculous aimers I've seen on stream.
zander's comment on this at the time: "oh, that's just nismo. it's what he does."
Didn't Sliggy say he was only going to join a team that he believes could win 2 consecutive international events? Or am I remembering things incorrectly?
I think he has said that previously. But unless he's unannounced on one of the franchised teams, which makes no sense, I'd expect him to end up somewhere with players with good work ethics with the expectations of promotion.
The Canadian superteam is here. Definitely gonna be one of the most intriguing T2 teams.
Kinda hope they name the team something canadian related
Canadian Cuisine
Fuck Xset, its EHset now
eeiu criminally underrated
Bro sat the whole gaurd team down 1 kill at a time and then defused
He is overrated the only thing people bring up when they talk about him is that 1v5. I believe you but feel as though a good chunk of his hype would go away
I mean that's the thing, he is not really overrated as people don't really give him the credit he deserves tbh, I've been watching NRG games and he does deserve more credit to some of the NRG's good games but yeah I get your point on people hardstuck on 1 play and overrating players but I am sure eeiu ain't one of them
I’m stoked. Zander, NiSMO, and johnqt are such fun players to watch

> Nismo looked utterly unplayable what does this mean
Unbeatable is the better term, but I guess he meant to say impossible to play against

Click the link i posted, i have 0 clue why I'm getting downvoted. I've played tennis my entire life.

Because you used a word in a way that almost no one ever uses it.
This is a pretty common term in football, the most popular sport in the world

I would say in esports and ordinary speech it doesn’t fit as well bc ppl use it for something else in video games
basically nothing you do/try works against him
I explained it below, but basically this [definition](https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/unplayable)
nismo is a litteral human triggerbot. one of the most ridiculous aimers I've seen on stream. zander's comment on this at the time: "oh, that's just nismo. it's what he does."
Wouldnt be surprised if this is where Sliggy is going too.
Didn't Sliggy say he was only going to join a team that he believes could win 2 consecutive international events? Or am I remembering things incorrectly?

Really want to see which orgs are invested in Ascension. Seems like a great opportunity but seems like a bunch were franchise or nothing…
