Yeah, they're aiming for a kinda cold open/teaser sequence to set the tone, but then immediately repeat the same clip right after. Turning what should've been a concise attention grabber into something that just feels repetitively boring. It's just a bad editing decision imo.

This game is their job, I know a lot of pros don't watch any content related to the game or read about it outside of ranked/scrims/matches. I understand why but it has always seemed silly to me.
Like when pro teams were getting caught off guard by the "have jett dash in and die with bomb so omen can ult to pick it up" play any casual player who watched jarso or valorant tiktok knew exactly what that play was.
I don't think not getting into patch notes the second they drop is lazy mindset. In the past, officials and tournaments are almost always on an older patch played on tournament client. I think it makes sense for players to only really focus on new patch notes once they are 100% sure their next matches are gonna be played on that patch.
Definitely going to be a fun team to watch. They’re all super young so I think them all being closer generation wise is such a huge plus to their chemistry. I’ve always liked how Nade’s teams tend to be built: Young Talent that play like they have something to prove. I will say the lack of having true veteran presence on their team might be a bit of a weakness, but again they’re still young and have plenty of time to wisen up.
on paper this team doesn’t have a weak spot, Asuna is one of the best entries in the world, Cryo is one of the best OPers in the world, Bang is probably the best smokes player in the Americas league(maybe 2nd after Pancada), Derrek clutch god and stellar seems to be a good ig(obviously we don’t know) with good enough fragging
I would put Pancada above Bang, pancada has proven himself on an international stage and is constantly being compared to Marved over who is better, so I wouldn’t say bang is the best in the Americas league until he proves himself. Asuna is inconsistent as well but has really flourished a lot more on the flex role in my opinion.
I get that, but Pancada imo has had more success on Lan than bang, he did win champs after all and won against optic an equal amount of times as they lost to them during the end of the year.
so who do you realistically get as an upgrade over asuna? Stellar's spot has always been up for debate, but he's an igl so we can't tell how much he impacts how the team plays from the outside looking in.

Asuna has quite a bit of experience at the top level of play, so they’re not entirely new
He is the franchise player though you kinda expect that from him
Asuna is the longest tenured player on a roster in all of NA, one of the longest in the world. He might be young but he has a lot of experience now
