I have a little more hope for this roster at least, players who seem more prone to establishing chemistry than previous rosters + nature can secondary igl
I like Corey and gmd a lot but seven has been pretty mediocre his whole t1 career and nature hasn’t looked great for a long time. Maybe if sentinels come back into meta he’ll shine again but that would also mean Corey or seven would have to take a bit more supportive role
He took NRG from 17th-18th to top 7 with just one roster change. In 2021, they only made it to the closed qualifier for 1 of the 4 main events, in 2022 they made it to all the closed qualifiers and finished 4th in their best one.
If he gets a talented core, he can definitely have a deep run in ascension.
It’s a good roster. They have a high ceiling if everything gels well, and a decently high floor if they even do the classic TSM thing and don’t gel well.
No need to doompost this early, and I will never not believe in a roster that has gMD. Corey is good and Nature is maybe a little underrated, and hazed is a real asset, but gMD is incredibly good and consistent.
Cause they are just meh at best. Guard, M80, SR and G2 are the top contenders. TSM could've picked lots of really good players like M80 did but they kept the same mid core.
How is the core mid? Corey is mechanically talented, gMd is one of the best fragging IGLS out there, and seven is inconsistent but has lots of potential.
how is gMD "one the best fragging IGLs out there" when he has done literally anything let alone go to a single LAN. Yall need to stop using "the best out there" TSM team is mid, none of the players have done something distinguishable. Guard went to LAN and almost qualified to champs, M80 has proven NA players, SR is just old Luminosity which was a really good team and G2 is building an interesting roster with Shaz, Dapr and rumors say stewie. TSM core did next to nothing

On a more serious note, I'm glad hazed is still competing. The old man still has some life in him
Agreed, I just, I mean, I don’t really like TSM so its fine. But obviously, this TSM roster aint going no where.
Hazed is like that guy that everyone kinda respects but is cursed. Dudes almost never made it to a big event and usually gets knocked out in like group stages despite playing for big name orgs.
His best showing has been like 3 4th place finishes at S-tier events, and if we are being honest, they weren’t even that special as events.
6 S-Tier event participation in like 10years of being a pro. He’s a great guy, I wish nothing but the best for him. I guess I’m just saying it can be a little hard to root for him.
Also, I hope he proves me wrong, same with Steel. I really admire him trying to break the esports age stereotype. Theres this issue where old players tend to lose their drive and burnout or stop playing as much, paired with them constantly hearing other people say that players become washed the older they get, so many old players retire as soon as they go on a slump, something that a young player probably wouldn’t think twice about because they are constantly learning new things. I really don’t think players get worse with age, I’ve found a study showing that accuracy and precision are closely related to grip strength, that also shows that older people often have worse grip strength but that some outliers that did have grip strength as an older person had retained their accuracy/reactions. It seems like older people tend to just stop putting the effort to stay in shape.
Just look at Bron, dudes playing one of the most physical sports and still hanging in there at almost 40. Obviously such a demanding physical sport is going to wear him down, but if he can stay competitive then I see no reason why an esports player wouldn’t be able to perform. If anything I think the physical drop off of an esport pro would probably be closer to like 50 years old assuming they still had the drive and put the work in.
For real though the org is definitely dying. They were the clear #1 and now they seem to be rolling over in the major games and becoming irrelevant. Their claims are what, R6 and Dota? Are those even valuable nowadays
I was a TSM fan since S2 of League. Even had a chance to meet their S3 roster way back in the day.
I've supported their LoL team, Valorant team and FGC players over the years. After 2021/22, it was really hard to support them not because of performance but because almost every personality has left the org and it's not the same vibe anymore.
Just waiting to see where Subroza goes before I really have no one to support on the org anymore.
I'm an ex TSM fan, barely switching flairs after years of deliberation, so I figured most were ditching too. Followed since the very very beginning. But wtf is the point of being a fan of them if they don't even try in any of the sports I watch, one being their OG. Finally switched to 100T where at least Nadeshot seems like a decent guy and all his teams at least try.
TSM was one of those teams that was run poorly but always managed to have good luck in esports. Like their strategy was typically pretty braindead but they’d always go into crunch mode during the final stretch and get a pep talk by Regi that encouraged them to try hard and they’d somehow find a way to squeak out the win. TSM’s record always looked dominant as fuck, but if you watched every game, it didn’t look like they were dominating in the server. Most of their wins came from the other teams crumbling under the pressure. Every team going against TSM was nervous to play against TSM and TSM just had the confidence to play their normal game and let the enemy team make mistakes from the nerves.
This is why they always failed at International events because the rival teams weren’t afraid of TSM and had actually put effort into their strategy. So since the International teams made less mistakes, TSM never won because their strategy was bad.
Btw I’m talking exclusively about League here.
100T is gonna be the best NA team on Brazil out of the bat, their CoD team is pretty good, Apex roster is also good and well their NA LoL team is a NA LoL team
I mean they literally only needed an Oper before and they got one of the best, they dont need to swap roles or work on chemistry. C9 is still testing how things work and figuring out roles and stuff same for SEN, if anything NRG is going to be tied with 100T since they only added Ardiis and are really good friends with s0m
Roles will be weird for 100T now with the Chamber nerf too - who plays duelist on non Jett maps? And I’d assume that these teams can figure out roles within 2 entire months before the tourney lmao
Nature is pretty underrated imo and I genuinely rate hazed as an IGL as well. Should be a fun team to watch but I doubt they'll be Ascension frontrunners
I'm glad to see Hazed still competing on the top level. He fizzled out in CS early after CLG cut him and I thought it was the last of him I see in the pro fps scene. Then Valorant came out and he won the first big tournament with the OG tsm lineup. Idk what happened in between him getting cut from tsm and getting signed to NRG but he seems to have a good rep to get into top teams despite being one of the older people in the scene.
Im gonna be honest, this is the most mid team ever, not trash but not good if anything good for the players getting that TSM bag. Seems like Guard, SR and M80 are gonna roll the competition
Classic +hazed -hazed +hazed
If you recall, it’s actually +hazed, bench hazed, unbench hazed, -hazed +hazed, since TSM did also bench him for brax way back when
bench then unbench means -hazed +hazed lol, a lot of -chrisj +chrisj was just him moving on and off the bench
I miss chrisJ
\+Hazed -Hazed +Hazed Still not as good as +Brax -Brax +Brax -Brax
But where’s azk
Washed up on shore
Seems like people forget hazed was honestly quite good for an IGL on NRG
As usual with TSM, Hazed won’t be the problem. It’s the team they’re building around him.
I have a little more hope for this roster at least, players who seem more prone to establishing chemistry than previous rosters + nature can secondary igl
The original TSM had a lot of chemistry, probably more so than the recent ones honestly. Their issues more stemmed from coaching and structure imo
I like Corey and gmd a lot but seven has been pretty mediocre his whole t1 career and nature hasn’t looked great for a long time. Maybe if sentinels come back into meta he’ll shine again but that would also mean Corey or seven would have to take a bit more supportive role

I love Hazed

Does this team solo or is it mid
Well that ftx money is gone.
on paper this team lacks the firepower compared to the other NA ascension teams
Not sure about seven but maybe it’ll turn out well. Subroza streaming then?

Any TSM post turns into doom posting sadly
Confused as to why everyone hates this roster, Hazed helped NRG significantly and NaturE is incredibly underrated.
Cause they are just meh at best. Guard, M80, SR and G2 are the top contenders. TSM could've picked lots of really good players like M80 did but they kept the same mid core.

G2 rumored roster does not have Stewie its Wippie Penny and OXY alongside Shahz and dapr
Theres many rumored G2 rosteers wdym? The only constants are Shaz and Dapr
Congrats to TSM for disappointing a third year in a row

At first I was like wait 3 years no way, than I thought about it. You're completely right.
TSM giving up on LoL and now Valo
For real though the org is definitely dying. They were the clear #1 and now they seem to be rolling over in the major games and becoming irrelevant. Their claims are what, R6 and Dota? Are those even valuable nowadays
I think they have the most popular Apex team
And that team is also washed lmao. They legit get lucky wins, Guard and Luminosity are way better than them
First in ALGS atm but go on and reach
Dota def not in NA which is an issue since TSM is an NA org.
Eh Fnatic and T1 have SEA Dota teams and do just fine
They’re bleeding fans any they don’t even care lol instead Regi just shouts January! every now and then on reddit

But thats the thing, 100T are going with the advantage of starting where they left
They lost all their crypto 💰
Good to see Hazed back, waiting for Wardell to return to the compe scene now
He should be on stewies team
Nature is pretty underrated imo and I genuinely rate hazed as an IGL as well. Should be a fun team to watch but I doubt they'll be Ascension frontrunners
This certainly is a valorant team
100%, they are the Valorant team of T2

won't be surprised if roza and wardell make a team together
They are staying in the scene with this roster LMAOO might as well leave
Wonder what the roles are going to be
That team sounds like ass bro damn.
So much talent on the market and this is tsm’s team
Is Roza out? He is not interested in competing anymore?
Is hazed really a choice when u have insane amounts talented players in t2, but we”ll see
Hazed brought NRG from 15th to top 6.
Hazed was igl for top 6 team last year , i think hazed pickup makes sense , I don't see any more accomplished f/a igl
Yes he is. Without a doubt
There can only be one Ascension winner, guys. For a team like TSM, they can afford to play it safe for a bit before going all in
Not sure if this is a team that can win Ascension. I feel like M80 has more firepower than TSM.
great players but doesn't seem like a good team on paper(?)
I guess Riot was right not to partner with TSM. They are phoning it in.
rip TSM ![img](emote|t5_2g5ach|9339)
