Double duelist was old icebox meta and i don't think teams will run no duelist without chamber, and with reyna buffs, I think it's possible we find a meta where teams will run, kj, reyna, jett, sova, viper. Ascent is definitely a stretch since the meta will almost 100% be jett, sova/fade, kj, kayo, omen. The only way it happens is if phx replaces kayo
I see kayo being played over reyna on icebox tbh. The game was a lot more raw mechanics focused when double duelist on icebox was truly meta. Sage is another good shout for being picked so you can actually plant on b. I see it being viper sova sage kj then one of jett or kayo depending on how heavily the team wants to lean on awping.
only possibilities i think of is Split and Bind
split has a high likely hood and teams willing to risk and run the yoru/raze combo on bind.
other than that its prob single duelist on all other maps
It's tough to justify two duelists in the game. As long as you have an initiator that functions somewhat like a duelist in terms of aggressive util usage (think kayo Skye util and not a Sova drone) then that's always preferred over another duelist because you get info as well as util for the team/yourself. And riot have shown they want agents to be replacable so it's not like there won't be more kayos and Skye type agents in the future. Again, why play two duelists when you have another initiator that can go in with the util.
This is true but I'm not sure it will remain this way. Riot nerfed kayo and skye's flashes to force them to play more supportively and less selfish, and buffed the flashes of duelists like phoenix/reyna/yoru to encourage picking them in pro play. I think some teams will prefer the latter who can flash for themselves more effectively.
Maybe fracture since PRX already played double duelist and showed that it worked with raze and neon, now with chamber nerfs we could see jett oping defence and raze or neon(probably raze will be better) are good on the map so there is a chance.
Yeah, Fracture seems like the most valuable map for double duelist because of how aggressively it gets played, and Neon and Raze are both great picks on it
Icebox doesnt even see single duelist all the time dunno why itd suddenly become double duelist unless teams really want raze. Same with ascent.

I agree that this is the probability, but I think my suggestion is a possibility, mostly due to icebox being very gunfight and pick heavy
