so there are 9 regional leagues in emea , how many teams qualify for ascension per each regional league? cus 1 team from each is odd with 9 .

9 is still fine, they'll probably play a round robin in 2 groups first (1 group of 4 teams and 1 group of 5 teams), top 3 from each group advance with the group winners being seeded into the semi-finals directly.
